I know the cobalt themes and hue themes work on 4.22 but I have also had the exact same problems on any 4.3 or 4.3.1 Roms. I have stopped trying them because I've had to do a battery pull every time. Hopefully a solution can be found because I really miss the red themes

reventech has been working on a red and black theme and I know he is quite knowledgeable and helpful, so hopefully he will find a solution for this theme problem

Anyone know how can I get rid of this annoying red bar?
It is removed when I restart my phone but comes back up again when I make a call.
I've got same problem, it happened yesterday and I'm pretty sure it has something to do with one of the app updates as I didn't install any now app in last couple of days. Any ideas?

Did u try clearing the ram and killing all running services ?
ok I found it, in my case it's Go Locker if you using same software try to reinstall the app it should work

hi in was thinking about installing cm9 but it looks complicated with linux etc. is there a place ai can go to see the difference between cm9 and cm7 and why its so much better? also im sure that i saw a video of a girl showing off the rom she made for the nook tablet but i cant find individual roms in the development section. do i just need glasses?

There are also a few experimental roms out, but I won't be adding them to that thread until they are stable. You can find their threads in development though (grab a pair of glasses) if you want to try them.
I've commented on the pros and cons of cm7 and cm9 a few times. Search around and you'll see.

In CM9? You can go to Settings > Accessibility and toggle Large Text to make menu text bigger. That might help a bit.

One of my colleagues has purchased a new S III and the only thing he's not happy about it is the white text over black background on certain screens (specially the Email app)
Is there a quick and easy way of having black text over white background on email app (and others) ?

No, you need to either download an alternative application, or root your phone and install an inverted version :/
I don't mean to patronize or anything , but someone with 10+ thanks should be able to go figure this one out by himself / herself ..

Have him use mail.google.com in desktop mode ... dowhatever you\he wants is 1 option ... inverted colors with intelligent app launch on gmail app ?
I prefer the black backgrounds and white text actually. Easier on the eyes AND the battery.

thank you. I have lots of experience with Android platforms but I really never wanted to change any theme of any of my devices.
This is just a colleague's request and I found it easier to ask ratherthan try to invent wheel from scratch.

I have already tried both of them.One does not have this feature and the other does have,but quite plain......
Rocketdial has just what I want,but it it not smooth.

I'm having the same problem I am on .108 rooted. I am working through my exposed modules one by one to see if any of them are to blame.
Got the same problem on .314 rooted. First time i see this, was after installed the home apk from the Z3. Maybe this could be the problem.?

The only setting that I could find is in GravityBox [KK] under "Miscellaneous tweaks": Adjust bottom margin, however it doesn't have any effect. The other settings work fine.
It may have something to do with the recent update to GravityBox, 3.4.3, "Recents panel: statusbar/navbar always translucent by default (no option)". Perhaps the Xperia smallapps bar relies upon an opaque navbar?

Uninstalling GravityBox [KK] 3.4.3 and reinstalling 3.4.2 fixed the issue!
