Has anyone have experience with the standard Brando battery?
http://shop.brando.com.hk/pda-battery-htc-touch-hd-_p03374c0980d039.html
At $15.50 with $3 shipping, it seems to be the best deal from a reputable store.

2500mAh 3.7V Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery for HTC T8282/Touch HD
Who would like to buy a standard battery when there are 1500 or 1700 mAh ones available that are the same size as the original one? Please consider the biggest battery thread for more information

Have a look here.
The official site doesn't seem to stock these anymore. Does anyone know if they are available anywhere else?
I have been through a Cameron Sino replacement which, despite being 1500mah, lasts no time at all after only a couple of months. The original even at 1350mah was a better performer.
Have you tried Ebay? I just bought brand new battery's for my kaiser from there for less than $12
dealextreme for about 3$ each or 8$ for a extra large battery with a replacement phone back. I order from there all the time and the best part is free shipping no matter how small the order~
the batteries on dealextreme are aged and the one that looks like the original is a cheap counterfait, real junk

Agreed, i bought one on DX too....its crappy, i'm looking for one as well.
HTC retailer store carries their brand batteries.
I'm looking to buy a second battery for my Note 3, but I don't want to get one in an extended case. I'm looking for one that fits inside the standard case. Don't need wireless charging or anything like that, just a standard battery.
I found this one searching the forum from Amazon. Is that about as good as I am going to find? Or are there better options?
I just bought the anker one from amazon. I've trusted their batteries in the past. That's another good option.
Follow up question here:
If I'm going to go with a battery in the standard case, would it be better to just get an extra official Samsung battery? What's the advantages/disadvantages of going with a 3rd party over Samsung?
I've always bought hyperion. They are great.

3rd party vs oem

If you have the money to burn you know that samsung oem batteries will work and work well.
For a lesser price Anker, RAVPower, Hyperion, etc. can be found for much lower prices with good return policies via Amazon or other reputable sites and sellers.
Does anyone know of one of these extended batteries that is also Qi compatible (wireless charging) and fits in the original case?
Hi
I would like to buy an extra battery and ive seen in ebay some 4000 mah and 3800mah.

This piqued my curiosity so I checked out eBay. They don't appear to include any sort of custom back so I would surmise they're the same size as the original battery. I would still be skeptical of these but if you buy one be sure to give us your review.

Can anyone comment if these are legit?

Seller claims they are genuine and their rating is decent, but don't want a fake.
Thanks in advance.

This phone is extremely hard to find a legit battery for. But my rule of thumb is, if you want genuine, don't go to ebay. Check my thread that may help
I got one from Amazon

Ebay is fine if you know what you're doing. I purchased one from a seller a while back and haven't had any issues with it, but I made sure to do my research beforehand.
The seller took pictures (not generic web images) of each battery he was selling, still in their LG hard plastic packaging that you would get if you bought it from a store. Not the no-packaging bulk factory batteries that everyone else sells. And unlike those bulk batteries, the one I purchased had the same language writing as my stock battery: English, Korean, French, Spanish, and Portuguese(?). Compared to other batteries you see on ebay that are all in Chinese save for some bits and pieces of English.

Because I don't have one within a 100 mile radius of my current location? That's like assuming I live in a big city and have access to every single store and manufacturer dude, not cool.
I bought 3 battery from ebay 2 from 1 seller and 1 with the LG charging cradle. I have been using them for 4 months. I read reviews on amazon about so-called legit batteries and people say that it isn't compatible with phone.
Hello,
I bought a genuine battery from Amazon and discovered that is really old (produced un june 2014).
I checked also other sites on Amazon and all batteries seems 1 year old.
The battery seems impossible to find in real shops.
I have heard that LG battery cells are not the best and break down over time. Does anyone know if this is true? just wondering anyways if not buying a genuine battery what would be a good brand to buy?
On my Samsung phone I was pleased with an Anker brand aftermarket battery.
Personally I advice you a better one (IMHO):
http://www.amazon.com/Battery-Anker...F8&qid=1446501645&sr=8-2&keywords=lg+g3+anker
This battery is really well made and got premium cells.
I've purchased one for my Samsung Galaxy S2 (ofcourse related model) and it totally outperforms stock battery.
I'm really happy with it!

Are you sure? I've seen this listing on Amazon as well even before I read your post. I agree with @fubag, by the looks of the terrible reviews, that is a fraud of a seller.
Post something only if you have bought from it!
You can check this by the way :
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/100-...b201644_4_79_78_77_82_80_62,searchweb201560_1
Exactly...i 've got one from aliexpress..It looks like its original.
I bought Anker G3 battery (two) and charger package for the cost of probably just one genuine battery (if you can actually find a real one), couldn't be happier. Performance as good as the original battery. The charger is very convenient to use and the charging speed is decent (overnight). So now I have three batteries, always fully charged and ready to go for any trip I will take.
Have you tried contact you local lg service center
