Hi All,
Ive been trying to reload the OS on a Q88 7 inch tablet for the past 4 days to no avail. Everytime I try to use Live Suite (Version 1.07 ,1.09,1.11) it process about 3 percent then stops .... some (1.07,1.11) give the error update fails 0x162.
I have tried about 6 roms to no avail ..... Is this tablet dead ???
The issue I having is that has a number errors after it boots and you try to unlock the screen.
Namely com.android has stopped working and System UI has stopped working .... So I thought I could just reload it and id be fine but it still isnt working so now I have no idea what to do. :crying::crying:
Any help would be appreciated....

the touchscreen fails when i'm at the lock screen.

i was using android 2.2
everthing went well but after some time touch failed sometimes when i go to my lock screen
i removed all the data from my memory card regarding android ,,,
now i am using the windows 6.5 (original )and every time i go to lock screen , the touch fails !!!!!!!!!!!

you guys tried to use a different roms ? of wm or android ? ... i got problem almost the same i changed my windows mobile rom then changed or re-installed my android and worked everything fine
This was posted a while ago but I had the same problem. I thought it was from the many different rom changes I have done so I stripped the phone and put it back to day one and it was still doing the same thing. It even does it while using the phone and I will have to lock it and then unlock it to get it to fix soooo...... I figured it was a hardware issue and called t-mo and they are replacing it under warranty.
ok. but when you`re out of warranty - then you`ve got serious problem. Nobody knows what is wrong ?

ill be very brief now
i tried installing paranoid android 1.1b and while installing it through i got the error message related to get assert something .. and something related to build.prop concerning ro.product device ( i think so )
and then showing this status 7 error at the end
i tried downloading it 4 times .. 2 from ma mob and twice from ma pc with the same result
also ive been searching for 2 days for this ... some said its a partition issue .. others say its the installed issue .. but the others never got the error (ive tried installing other roms and all have installed just fine )
and another bit of info is that ive been dual booting my device...
plz help me guys .. i want that rom badly

Status 7 usually means an assert failed during install when determining what model phone you have. What is your phone model? (check on the label under battery)
If you done a clean slate, / full wipe, some times it happens,
Flash a stock ROM using Odin first
flash cwm and flash a custom ROM.
After this you can format clean again and flash your ROM.
I think the rom i was trying to install was for a diff model .(cant believe im that sick)

I bought a Elephone P8 (MT6592) and at the first start everything went clear. 4 Hours later it crashed and after it tried to restart it, it got freeze on the bootanimation.
After the third restart it worked finally but the problem with the freezing bootanimation was still there.
I tried to wipe data and it worked but after 3 restarts the phone was completely dead.
I tried to flash it with the stock rom from needrom but im stuck at this error 'BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL(4032)'.
I don't know what to do anymore and looking forward to help
My Vega Iron suddenly restart and encountered this error "System Restart because of Application Error". The first time, it restarted just fine but on the second one it always stucked at L+ Logo. I already tried factory reset on the stock recovery but it didn't solved it. I also tried the Vega Self Upgrade but always have an error on USB Driver on 3 PCs I used. I can't find any help on the net on how to properly run it. Then I tried to flash a latest firmware but with sms fix using CWM Recovery but still encounter same error. I actually found a vietnamese forum with the error but I can't understand even if I translate it.
Can anyone please help me? Current firmware is S1235210.
Hey guys,
i got the problem, that my device suddenly freezes and reboots after turning the display on or of. But it happens "only" 3-5 times a day and I have no Idea why. Apart from that issue, my device runs perfectly smooth with no other Problems. I use the CM12 (Android 5.1.1 / May 20), but I restored the factory Kitkat ROM and unfortunately it's the same there...
Any Ideas?
