Hey guys,
I have an HTC One running Android Revolution HD and while upgrading to version 30 I chose full wipe. AROMA installer ran and everything went fine with the installation... Or so it seemed.
After AROMA was done, I was in CWM and rebooted the device and it went into a bootloop. It automatically tried going into recovery (CWM) but that didn't work.
I finally got into HBoot and tried using fastboot from my windows 8 PC but for some reason Command Prompt couldn't detect my phone using fastboot or ADB! So now I have a bootlooped HTC One which isn't being detected while running fastboot and cannot open recovery either.
Anyone know what to do?

I don't know how to delete this thread but I've resolved the problem. I finally managed to access fastboot (windows 8 seems to have a problem with fastboot) and flashed TWRP... Then I flashed my old ROM and everything's okay.
I'm having a similar issue! Except I was able to get into fastboot and flash a new recovery but it's still looping.
Fixed it, had to clear the cache using "fastboot clear cache" but now I'm having trouble accessing the sd card in recovery. It says "Can't mount/ sdcard"
Same problem here

In this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1390496) it clearly states that since my device is HBOOT 2.00.002 I can't install custom rom using the old-fashioned way and I must flash BOOT.IMG from the rom.
So I did EXACTLY as dtronics said in that thread, ROOTED my device, installed CWM using ROM Manager, and then decided to flash boot.img using fastboot (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1752270).
That also completed succesfuly with no errors but now my phone continuously restarts itself into CWM. It can't start the stock rom or the custom.
then after I press (VOL+) + (POWER) keys on this Red icon screen I enter CWM
And now I can't go any further, I'm stuck. Please help!

Thanks, I did that, but it wasn't the problem. I just figured it out! The problem was in CWM.
The guide was a bit unclear so I obviously didn't flash it right. This is what I did, i flashed new CWM image using this tutorial (sorry, can't paste outside link), the best and easiest way to do this.
I was really worried I bricked the phone, now everything is working great!! :good:

Why not use 4ext recovery? 4ext recovery has a tool called HTC Smartflash for S-On devices/HTCDEV Unlocked devices that make flashing a lot easier, so you won't have to run into issues like this.

Not really familiar with using 4ext recovery so I decided to go this way. I'll be changing rom soon, since I'm trying to find the one with best battery life, so then I'll try 4ext too.
I have the TF201 unlocked with the tool ASUS put out a while ago. I was running a JellyBean ROM, the specific one is escaping me. It was running pretty stable tho i was never able to get it to back up the ROM, it would create a file but it would have no MD5 and fail. Anyways, it ran out of battery the other day and now when i turn it on it stops at the ASUS splash screen with the "The Device is Unlocked" in the top corner. It will stay like that until the battery runs out or I reset with (power + v down). I can enter ClockworkMod Recovery so I put the latest CM10.zip on a micro SD to install but i get "No FIles Found" - Any idea if this is recoverable?
Sorry this is a repost, i moved before i was able to really get into the steps that the last people suggested and when i tried i ran into problems...
Thanks for your help

first thing to try is to install the latest TWRP that will read both sd cards and download AOKP jelly bean unoficial rom(what an awesome rom). put that on your removable storage then try and install through TWRP and all should be good.

not that you will have to use it yet but did you do the nv-flash before going to jelly-been?

Extract the attached file and boot into fast boot on your Prime. Run the .bat file and it automagically flashes the latest version of TWRP for the Transformer Prime.

is there a way to install twrp directly onto the microSD card from your computer? When i flash it, i get the Finished message in command prompt and the blue bar on the tablet shows up but when i take the card out of the tablet and pop it in my computer it is empty
My understanding is recovery images are internal sd only. Back ups are on the sd card.

My device Mi3 is running on CyanogenMod 13 and latest TWRP recovery. Unable to install weekly updates of CyanogenMod. Recently, got an update cm-13.0-20160516-NIGHTLY when i tried to install that there is an dialog box of "Apply Update" You are about to update bla bla bla... Note: This feature requires a compatible Recovery or updates will need to be installed manually. I didn't get what it means and i thought TWRP is a valid recovery so proceeded from that. After few minutes it rebooted the device top recovery and nothing happened from that. So i rebooted the system again searched over Internet about the issue haven't found any perfect solution (within what i found) but i tried by copying the update file to /sdcard (i mean root directory) and tried to install the update manually by using TWRP recovery but it is showing an error "Updater process ended with ERROR: 7 Error installing zip file '/sdcard/cm-13.0-20160516-NIGHTLY-cancro.zip' Updating partition details......done"
Can you help me out how to install the update and also tell me what I've done wrong so that i will not do that again.
Thanks in advance.

sorry for late reply, please help me with a step that is mentioned in the link you've given.
"Run flash_all.bat (on windows) or flash_all.sh (on OS x and Linux - it's suggested to open it from a terminal in these systems)"
Does it mean to run in cmd or what. Please help me out. If you can please elaborate that step.

Just connect your device and double click on "flash_all.bat"(I'm assuming you to be on Windows) and it'll do the rest

Please help as I love this phone and don't want to throw it away.
Here is a glimpse of two screens that I can go into (also, somehow I formatted the SD card, so no back-ups).
Am I at a point of no return or can anyone of you super android enthusiasts help me out? Please help

If you can't flash TWRP via fastboot, try "fastboot boot <twrp_file>.img". That'll boot you directly into TWRP without having to actually write it to a partition on the device.

that's correct, but there are actually two recovery partitions on the 5X (recovery and erecovery). I'm suggesting that you try the other one.
Just to clarify, is fastboot recognizing your device at all? (run "fastboot devices" to see)

if u have the TWPR thats still good .. take stock framewar latest build and do extract take .img files and move to SD card , do full format and wipe data and cach and even internal memory then flash the img's throw TWPR one by one .
its happens sometimes =) .. it should work back to stock .
