[Q] Play Store web site and installed Apps - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

The google play store web page thinks I have whole bunch of apps installed when I only have the few that flashed with Clean ROM 3.5.
I have never seen something like this before, though I don't use the web site very often. But when I have used it, it worked fine.
I can install new apps from the web site but not any apps that it 'thinks' I have installed (the ones under My Apps).
I have not done anything like change DPI or other framework changes.
Update: It's only some apps. It looks like it is remembering the apps for a fairly recent ROM. I have tried logging out of the web page, clearing data for the Play Store, and deleting and recreating my account on my phone.
I have tried deleting data for play services, play store, uninstalling updates (to the play store), all app preferences, etc. I tried editing the name of the device in the Google play store, the only thing you can do in the device list. I also tried running the Market Doctor in Titanium Backup for both system and user apps.
The reason I want this is I need to rebuild my phone and since I did a data format I would like to get my apps clean from the play store. On the website it's one click and move on to the next app. With the play store on the phone it's click, yes it's what I want to do, click back, etc. Tedious.
I did a reset and format data and reinstalled CR. Same thing.
Guess just one of those things

[Q] Why are google apps broken?

My sister got a nook tablet a few weeks ago and I helped her get Go Launcher and Google Apps including the play store. Everything was fine but she called me last night with problems. Most of her apps on the Go Launcher home screen were in the "Loading" state with just an android icon. When she would open the Play Store it would tell her she needed to add her Google Account and pressing the button to add an account would dump her back on Go Launcher. Gmail also dumps her straight to her home screen. She also mentioned something about Go Launcher saying she should try relaunching Go Launcher. After a couple restarts I wasn't able to make any progress on the phone.
So, before I make my trip out to see her, what are some potential culprits? It sounds like the accounts app broke but I don't know how or why.
Google Apps were rebranded as Google Drive on my Nook. When you open a document in Drive it brings up the correct program to edit...

You're thinking of Google Docs. I'm referring to the generic Google Apps for Android which includes the Play Store, Gmail, Talk, and more.
Try clearing the cache from both Google Play and Google Services Framework, and then reboot.

How can I do this? There is no application management menu in the settings like on normal android.
Turns out the nook tablet updated itself to 1.4.2 even though I had the 9.9.9 version "fix". Why did it update? How can I prevent it in the future aside from loading a custom rom?

Razr Maxx Play Store Issue

Recently, meaning in the past two days, when I open the Play Store this is what appears:
(first attachment, or which ever is named razrmaxx)
When I go to My Apps, and look under the Installed tab, only four apps show up, all preloaded Verizon apps. When I go to all associated with my account, it shows that they are installed. I can only install a new app if it's a popular app and the Play Store comes up with the completed search where it has the app icon. All other Google services work, gmail, youtube, Chrome tab, bookmark shares. I've reset my phone to factory defaults, I've completely closed the Play Store, deleted data, deleted cache, forced stop, and reopened. The other day I was trying to install an app (AirDroid), and it said it wasn't available in my country, I live in the United States. I'm completely baffled because on my Note 10.1, this is the screen that appears when I open the play store:
(second attachment, the one named note)
(just in case this is related to that), and it also will not show any of the "installed" apps, but will say that it's installed under the "all" tab. I've completely erased all data, force stopped Play Store on my Note too, and it still shows up like that, and it also can't search. The fact that there's only one app on my phone that shows up makes me think it's a virus, I've scanned my phone completely with Avast, I don't download anything except from the play store (although I know even there it can be a virus). Recent apps I've installed to my phone are: AirDroid, AndSMB, App Cache Cleaner (although this is after it started), and Avast. I originally thought the Samsung Apps app on my Note was causing the issue on my tablet, and Samsung Apps works, but even after I disabled it, the issue persisted. I even tried the Amazon App store, and that works. The only app that I have in common with my phone and tablet is Avast. Any help is much appreciated, and thank you in advanced. I might go to a Verizon store in the next few days and ask them about it, maybe get a new phone and stay away from my current gmail accounts and only use apps I trust, (amazon, newegg, doubletwist). Anyone know how to fix this and ways to stop it from happening in the future?

Permanently disable/remove Google play services?

I'm getting so frustrated with this app, *constantly* reinstalling itself for no good reason. It hogs internal memory and ram for things I don't use.
I don't bother with android siri, Google music, books, photos, tts... I literally use *none* of the things it powers. I use the store to download and update apps.... And that's it. Even within the apps, I don't feel the need to talk to it or find out what song a game uses or any other nonsense.
I don't even need notifications for crying out loud as I keep any possible app hibernated with greenify (which play services will *not*stay hibernated)
I'm using a 3rd party keyboard, and camera app
How can I remove this overall hog once and for all, or at *least*truly disable and be able to delete the large amounts of data for the damn thing and leave it sitting idle, unused and inactive, if Google insists it be on my device, technically....
I'm even rooted and removed all of the apps I mentioned (Google books, music, photos, etc), but yet this bugger insists. It's almost like spyware in the sense that I'm not using it at all and yet it remains on my phone taking up valuable space and resources.....
Sent from my SGH-I927 using XDA-Developers mobile app
not recommended to remove google play
it is very possible to remove google play, google services framework and gapps, however, they are still many apps and services that depend on it, for example, i couldnt use youtube anymore when i removed anything to do with the playstore.
im afraid you will just have to keep the setup you have as google play is an important part of the android operating system
You can disable system administration of google play services and then use and try with greenify...
run this script and disable at leat about 90 uneeded services .. if you use the extended script. if it helped. just thank the guy who made this..

To see what would happen, i froze the play store (well technically removed it with app master but kept it in my recycle bin), and then deleted the play services.... nothing has stopped working on my end. but the play store is probably all i honestly use. for youtube i ditched the app and just made a browser shortcut to the site on my home page. i dont have data so have never used maps or anything like that. i use gmail but didnt keep the app lol (dont use it enough to bother as its not my main account). its a bit of a pain having to restore it to download updates, but ive noticed even a difference in battery life since i started doing that about a week ago now.
the only gapp i use is the app to download other apps, lol.
You can use Servicely to disable all Google services. Alternatively, You can remove all Google services and try to replace them with this

Cleared Play Store data, now all the apps are missing

Hello,
I have a rooted Oneplus 3T with android 6.0.1.
I tried to use the Freedom app, but it gave me problems with the Play Store, so I uninstalled it and restored the hosts file.
But I still had problems with in app purchases and the Play Store always asked me to accept Terms and Conditions.
Clearing Play Store cache didn't help, so I cleared Play Store data and everything is working now.
The only problem is that my apps list inside Play Store is now empty.
If I search for an already installed app, it gives me the possibility to update/open the app, and then it appears among the installed apps on my device.
Is there a way to force Play Store to check for all installed apps instead of doing it manually?
Thanks in advance!
Did you ever figure out a solution for this? Just had the same problem happen to me.

[FIX] My solution for Meizu FlymeOS 6 Play Services Hanging Heating Slowing Devices

A week ago I experienced a problem while driving with Maps open, the battery got very hot and I needed to turn it off, losing myself in the city, few days later I needed my phone to do a work, and i lost half hour ending up using a tablet. I though there was something broken, but after I factory reset it, and read something about gapps online i pointed out what the issue was:
The big G made us like a Xmas Gift with 12.8.74 version, not on Xmas, not so cool.
But let's give this narration an end and start describing how i solved this.
1) At first I made a factory reset, it will wipe off all Gapps, cause them are installed at /data partition, not /system. After doing this the smartphone works like charm, but obviously, nowadays u can't do anything without gapps, I couldn't do anything.
2) Install Gapps with a tool that i found on internet, u can use also the one found in meizu app store, u have to reinstall all gapps, but don't run them.
I uploaded the apk i used in my mediafire account, but it's my first post and I can't post links, if u want I can send a pvt, for installing Gapps:
Google_Installer_2.0.apk (google it)
3) Unistall Google Play Store, you don't need it now.
Now some apps that will require Gapps will work, even if they say that Google Play Services is not updated.
4) On settings, App, Installed, check the number and version of Google Play Sevices, and Google Services Framework, check what the dpi of that version and number is, and keep it, you will need it later.
5) You need to certificate your device, install Device Id (i give you the link)
Device ID 1.3.0 (apkmirror)
and copy GSF number, then go to (www .goo gle.com)/android/uncertified/
click register, u should already have it enabled, but if not is better to solve
6) Now you need to download Google Play Services 12.8.62 Armv7a for the same dpi as you noted it before, Google Play 10.7.19 (this has universal dpi and arch), Google Service Framework 5.1 (same as before).
For my phone (meizu m3s) I used
com.google.android.gsf_5.1-1743759-22_minAPI22(nodpi) (apkmirror)
com.google.android.gms_12.8.62_(020308-199405334)-12862009_minAPI21(armeabi-v7a)(480dpi) (apkmirror)
com.android.vending_10.7.19-all_0_PR_202990317-81071900_minAPI16(armeabi,armeabi-v7a,mips,mips64,x86,x86_64)(240,320,480dpi) (apkmirror)
if you want Youtube as well
com.google.android.youtube_13.24.59-1324593340_minAPI21(armeabi-v7a)(480dpi) (apkmirror.com)
7) Now you need to block Play Store from update Google Play Services, I made this way:
Settings, Apps, Installed, Google Play Store, Permission management, Click on Run in background, Disallow running in background.
Then i opened Security app , Data Network Access, Background, Google Play Store, Disallow background data connection. That should do the job.
Now set your Google Account as normal and everything should work without issues.
