[Q] Stuck in Download Mode - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

So I hard bricked my device but escaped from it resulting in being stuck in download mode whenever I reboot my YP-G70. I have held all the buttons in all combinations without any success in getting anything but download mode. This is the walk through I used to escape from the hard brick http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1386669 .
I flashed a new kernel as well as a ROM afterwards but it keeps booting to Download Mode. If anyone has any idea why it is doing this or how I could fix it I would hugely appreciate it.

[Q] Galaxy S I900 reboot loop

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum - looks wonderful!
Unfortunetly I got here with a big problem :
I've been trying to flash some ROM but it never succeeded.
When I start my phone I see the CM7 logo coming up, right after that I get a screen like its trying to install the ROM or somthing...few lines being written to a log looks like recovery mode and then the phone is rebooting again and this process happens again...infinite loop!
I cannot get my phone into download mode in any way..tried :
1) vol up/down/both + home + power
2) 301k ohm JIG between the 4th and 5th pins
Nothing helped, cannot see the phone in Odin when its rebooting like that.
Some history - I never been to download mod, but been to recovery.
I had CM7 installed before trying to flash this new ROM.
Any help would be appreciated, if its possible at all.
Thanks!
If yount wont come to download mode it is hsArd to belive you can fix this. As i wrote you also wont get into recovery mode.... are you sure your dooing it right there are lots of youtube vids out there. I have some issues too to get in download or recovery with my galaxy. You hav to stop press once you see the galaxy logo... if you get to recovery mode under advance you can boot to download mode...
Once you are there search a rom you can install over odin like darkys rom 9.2 i think.....
Otherwise bring it to samsung...
Cheers and good luck

[Q] Verizon Galaxy Tab LTE 10.1 Dead

Hi there.. well, after trying to make my tab come back to life, I think I finally destroyed it. Can't get to Recovery mode (Blank screen) and Download mode does not connect anymore to the computer... it also goes to blank and then restarts the tablet itself when I hit the "Volume up" button.
If I hit the Power+volume down, it goes to this message: "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again"
So... am I dead??
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
Guys really no one has any idea?
Just wondering if I am the only one with a dead tablet

Mines not dead and I can get to download with Power+VolulmeUP, but I can't get to recovery mode.
After selecting Android+Box, screen goes blank then Tab shuts down instead of recovery mode.
This was after trying to root using youtube video. Everything went fine until the last reboot into recovery. Now no recovery mode.
If you can get into download mode try and flash the stock kernel and Rom back through odin
Also have you tried recovery mode with kies, A dead tab is not useful =/

No I haven't tried Kies for that, I didn't know you could! I'll read the Kies help file to learn what to do.
I did use odin to start the rooting and couldn't finish because it wouldn't go into recovery mode for the final step. I'm a real noob, so when you say flash the stock kernel, do you mean get a stock kernel to flash with odin?
Mine is a 4g lte. Thanks!

The problem is that ODIN or Windows7 for that matter does not recognize the tablet... the only way to recognize the tables is through APX.
Have anybody solved this problem. My galaxy tab LTE 4G has bricked after i up a wrong rom. I cannot turn it on, nothing happen when i push power button

rom manager soft brick

after flashing Resurrection Remix v2.1 rom,
I tried to enter recovery-mode using the Rom Manager app.
my device stooped functioning.
when trying to use it, all I got was the Samsung logo for 3 sec
and afterwards the screen blinked every few seconds.
fortunately download-mode was available.
so I managed to get out of this mess with Odin and stock ics 4.0.3.
I strongly suggest that you DO NOT USE Rom Manager.

What's the purpose of these steps?
I heard it's for entering the download mode.
But I can enter the download mode without difficult.
My problem is that I can't enter recovery mode and boot normally even after I flash stock roms by odin.

from what you've wrote - your case is nothing like the one I had.
I'm trying to help, not to annoy you.
I read that the battery procedure is recommended at such a case.
http://androidandme.com/thread/att-galaxy-s3-wont-boot-into-clockworkmod-recovery/
and it helped me before.
it's quick and cheap - what have you got to lose ?
if it doesn't help, double check that the rom you've flashed is for your device.
it's always good to check the rom's file md5.

[Q] Help please: Phone stuck on boot screen, can't enter recovery mode.

I apologize if this is in the wrong place, and I've really tried searching around, but nothing seems to work/ is tailored to the m8.
So, I just got an M8 new out of the box, rooted it and successfully installed cyanogenmod. Problem is, I was playing around with it, trying to get the GApp store and somehow (did what i think was) deleted my roms completely. Now upon booting up the phone I just get the "This build is for dev..." screen, and with the volume down+Power button to access recovery mode I constantly get put back to the fastboot screen. I tried flashing a custom recovery as in "Phone arena CWM flash recovery" guide, but no luck because my computer is reading the device as offline. I honestly have no idea what to do, and if anyone could help me I would be so greatful...
TL;DR: Stuck on boot screen, can't enter recovery mode, think i deleted all my roms, help please
On a scale of 1 - bricked, how bricked is my phone?
HUGE DEVELOPMENTS, GUYS! I've been able to access recovery mode again by re-flashing ClockWorkMod.

On that scale, you are zero. If the screen comes on, you aren't bricked.

[Q] Loop problems

Hey guys i got a slight problem.
I had the Android Revolution HD Rom and i was trying to install another one , it really wasnt my first time doing this however this time a problem occurred.
My volume side buttons are not working so i couldnt get into recovery mode using them also on top of that the rom itself didnt have the option to go to recovery when turning off the phone.
I downloaded the Quick boot tool apk from Playstore and used it to go to recovery... I WISH I DIDNT
now my phone when turned on shows samsung logo and it goes to recovery and quickly goes back to the logo and loops in that way...
Is there anyway to access the download mode without pressing them sidebuttons, i even tried ODIN but it cant recognize the phone because it keeps looping...
I am clueless now and any help would be appreciated.
Sorry for spelling or any typos i am really angry atm.

You can use Android Debug Bridge (ADB) to enter whether download mode or recovery.

It doesn’t sound good then. Please read again threads like this on how to recover from a bootloop. If you really can’t access neither recovery or download mode using adb, that’s out of my knowledge, and you might need to read about how to fix a hard brick. There’s a thread about that in these stickies.

i managed to get into download mode however prior the brick i didnt enable developer mode on the phone and now the pc cannot recognize it when connected.
Developer switch is irrelevant to download mode, search the many threads on things to try to get Odin connected.
