i need to install in my xperia neo instal kernel with 2 way recording path.

can i install that kernel on my xperia neo on my actual android version 2.3.4 (2.6.32.9) compilation number 4.0.2.A.0.62?
has anybody do this? it is safe?

just root your device problem solved.
then flash this via CWM : [APP] Official Xperia S app from ICS
how to root 4.0.4 directly?
I think you would need to flash 4.0.3 kernel, root it, and then upgrade it to 4.0.4. Check general section, i believe there are couple of threads explaining the process.

my phone is not rooted / i do not know if the booter is unlockd or not << i never did anything
it's on ICS 4.0.4 : Build Number : 4.1.B.0.587
What do i need to do to get Cyanogenmod 10 jelly bean working on it ? i
Note : i do not have clockmod on it or anything

Wrong section, questions in general forum!
You will have to unlock the bootloader (voids warranty) and after that we can go on. Check out the sticked threads in general section and my guide to install custom kernels/roms (link in my signature)
