Hello team.
I have a motorola photon 4G (I´m living in Colombia) I´m trying to install an app but it ask for android 4.0 or higher.
My question is. Can i install the app with some tool or i need to install a new room on my phone?
If i need install a new room. How can i do it on this phone?
Thanks for the help.:good:
If you are in 2.3.4 you need unlock the boot loader and after that you can install a ROM, if you have 2.3.5 you can't unlock and can't flash ROMs higher than 2.3.5

If you read the description of the patch you can see that he made it for CM7 by taking an example from the Samsung stock rom. Well SGSII is already based on a stock rom so the feature is there already.
Yes,I think the same but a few months after I used it in Kq8 and I haven't any problem; how SGSII is based on this stock maybe it's posible used it. Regards

Hi, anyone know if you can install this rom over KTE base?.
Thanks.
i think custom roms nowadays are not dependent on baseband anymore.

I'm not really into this, but you have to wipe your cid partition to isntall other country roms, a normal update cannot cancel it
then, if I want to switch between ics roms of devices LATAM, EUROPE AND ASIA should wipe CID partition but to switch roms ics of the same region just patching the boot.img and flashing the system_signed would serve me ...

Don't be hasty, if you wipe the cid partition without a proper backup you can't restore it anymore and to fix it you need the change the motherboard. Unless you have some particular need i don't suggest you to flash other countries rom
