I'm getting a "No autostart items found" message when running the AutoStarts app, and the same when i run the one built into ROM Toolbox Pro.
Anyone has the same issue?

I did once get an autostart menu appear, and could chose what apps to start. I just skipped it as i didnt want apps to kick in when my device boots..

I tried many such managers (Gemini, Autorun Manager, Autostarts, ...) to switch off some receivers to prevent autostart. But it seems that no one of this apps are working on Xperia S.
All apps saying there is no single receiver registered in the system. I do not have any more idea what happen here. I contacted the author of Autorun Manager and he does not have an idea also. Does any of the devs know what Sony did in the system to prevent this apps to run properly?

Doesn't work for me on any of my xperia's.
Sorry to bump old thread but I'm still looking for a slution.
Same problem here. Neither Gemini App Manager nor ROM Toolbox seem to able to access app data. Gemini App Manager does not display the "Configure Autorun" option, and ROM Toolbox says "No receivers found". Is this an XPERIA-specific problem maybe? Quite annoying, as I would like to disable autostart apps that eat my memory and battery.
I use an application from the Google Play Store called "Startup Manager" on my Galaxy Note 1 running Android version 4.04 (ICS) to automatically run an application from the Google Play Store called "No Screen Off" at boot up so that my screen never goes off.
The "Startup Manager" is also able to run "No Screen Off" and Skype on my Galaxy Tab 7.7 running Android Honeycomb automatically at boot up.
However, on my Nexus 10 the "Startup Manager" is unable to run either application automatically at boot up.
Does anyone know of an application which will automatically run "No Screen Off" or similar application and Skype at boot up?
Thanks.
I would recommend Autostarts. Probably the best startup app I've ever used. Very in-depth.

You need root access to be able to control system app startups and such.

Thanks for your reply. After doing some searching on the Play store I found the combination of Autostart (not Autostarts) and Keep Screen On works on boot up.
System Tuner Pro also works on the N10 for disabling programs on start.
Startup Manager was pretty much useless on any of my 3.2 or 4.0+ devices, so I haven't tried it in months.

I have autostarts and Android Tuner. I recommend both.

Hi guys,
i have problems using all those apps with my xiaomi mi2 phone (android 4.1.1 miui 3.4.19). the phone is rooted using the default application LBE.
gameguardian 6.0.3:
the app gameguardian starts but the overlay icon dosen't appear in any game
gamekiller:
simply it does not open
gamecih:
a lot of time it doesn't open. When it is more gentle and opens, any overlay is loaded in my games. the only way to bring up gamecih is to configure an hotkey sortcut, but after a couple of use, something goes wrong and gamecih dosen't open anymore until a system reboot.
as anyone of those application work, maybe they use "a common layer" that generates problem on miui rom
same here

Hi All.. I have a question.. I have installed adb plus.. But some apps don't start because of it.. An error appears saying "you have to disable adblock to run the app".. I cannot each time to uninstall adblock and reinstall it after I've used that app.. Do you have any idea? Thank you all

Just do a left click on the ad block icon on the top right (on google chrome) and then untick "enabled for this site" option.
Lol.. I'm talking about Android apps..
I'm on ICS 4.0.4. When I used to repeatedly press Task Manager -> RAM -> Clear memory, I would get a notice that read "0 applications closed". Recently, however, it always reads "1 applications closed". How can I tell which application is always running? I have it rooted, but haven't installed any apps in a very long time. Not sure why one application is refusing to close. I have rebooted, taken out the battery, etc. but no luck. Just don't like things running that I don't know about, if you know what I mean.

That shows a whole lot of running apps, but won't tell me which one is the one that "Clear memory" tries to close again and again. Is there some kind of "Superuser" app that may be running to enable root?
