Hello,
I was looking for dual boot in Galaxy S2 (I777) but it seems that all the ROMs are candidate for dual boot and I think I have to use a kernel with MicSwap. I'm a little bit confused.
Please, could you suggest what are the ROMs and Kernels that I could try for dual boot?
Thanks
I didn't think you can dual boot touchwhiz based ROMs.

Are you saying that only touchwhiz based ROMs can be used for dual boot?
That is the exact opposite of what I said. I am no expert on dual booting but I believe you need to use either AJs kernel or sti kernel.

GK of siyah kernel is working on it
I got syiah, 'cos on s2 it is dual boot, but not on s3. This function is only on to do list. Any other ideas?

Aaaaaand WIN!
I found this kernel in the sticked post in the General Section. It doesnt list a base the kernel is compatible with. It does say it works for all ICS roms. I know its out of date but I want something to help with my battery life.

Anyone try it or could give me some insight on if this will work or any other kernels I can use?
Blackstar XI is based on n7005 firmware that they have not released kernel source for yet so there are no kernels that you can flash for it yet.
If you want to use custom kernels use x and not xi

Yeah a new base was used with the newest version of Blackstar. Most people used X because you can OC/UV.

Everyone is waiting for it to be released. But for now if you want to use kernels just stick with work based off of UCLF6. That still seems to be the most stable.

For dual booting we need a special kernel like siyah kernel for s2 and s3. We all can send a request to the dev of siyah kernel.

Can somebody get his attention, this would be one reason to rooting my phone, as I want to have the option of changing to different ROM's consistently, from CM10 to Touchwiz based ROM's, as I don't like leaving the S-pen rendered useless for too long.
Can anyone point me to available modified kernel forr dual boot for note 2
