Dont know if this is the right spot for this, but my girlfriend has a problem. She ordered the phone via a small (cheap) webshop. Apparently they buy there phone somewhere abroad. I think it is from Russia or another cyrillic country. We are from the netherlands. The phone does have dutch settings for the phone, but not for swype(swype only has english UK/US and two cyrillic languages). Result is that she can not use swype at all. Is there a way to change the firmware to dutch firmware or to change the swype. It's a Samsung Galaxy Mini.
Thanks a lot.
My grandfather don't know English and needs a better phone, I'm thinking of buying him a galaxy s 2 but I need to put Spanish as the language. Now my mom has the Sgs2 from Bell and I checked the settings and is either English, French or Korean. If I buy him a phone probably from ebay I don't want to root it.
Is there a way to add easily a Spanish package? If not, Is there another gs2 model (maybe att). That will have it already on?
Thank you

Just flash a Rom with Odin that have Spanish. For example, NEE.
No just change the language http://www.pakgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1805109
This was from French to English you can follow the same procedure to change you language to Spanish.

Hi all,
I hope maybe someone here can help me out with the following question.
My wife has an iphone and is trying to email to her friends and family in Japan. Most of them have either Samsung Galaxy S3 or Samsung Galaxy S2. In any case her emails which is is typing on the iPhone in Japanese are not readable ion the Samsung Galaxy S2 and S3 Docomo versions.
It is by the way the same way around. If she receives a messages form an S3 or S2 it is not readable on her iPhone.
I am sure it is related to how the phones are encoding the characters. What does one need to do to get this solved?
BTW this is not only here in Europe an issue, even Japanese have that problem sending messages between Apple and Samsung.
Thanks for any hints, suggestions and advice.
I guess it has something to do with the fact that iPhone does only do UTF-8 vs most Japanese encoding schemes are JIS or Shift-JIS.
Again, any help is massively appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
i would like to know if here are any members from Croatia that rooted and flashed their S3?
I am about to buy one and would like to know how to do these actions and what should have to take into account before doing it. Some beginners guide. The carrier would probably be VIP (don't know if that is important).
Thanks in advance.
Look at the Thread "Balkan S3 Owners" by me.
Pozdrav
