after installing it, everything works fine other than the language. Korean words are blanked out automatically. Any help here?

You don't get my question. I want to continue using rXtreme Rom without wiping my data. I'm asking if there is a fix for the language.

Either you are posting in the wrong forum or you are flashing the wrong rom .

Why you are using 4 files?

Choose your model as "GT-I9100G" while downloading firmware from Checkfus Downloader..

In what country did you buy your phone and what country ROM are you trying to flash?
Some countries locked the phone and only accepts local ROM. For example, i'm on Chinese ROM and can't change to any other country.
Btw, where did you get 4 files ROM for the i9100g ?

well solved the prob by installing ero ver and en flash it wiz the other rom btw the prob gose with the pit file so i suggest that any one wanna flash rom by odin dont repartation thx for helping

i had an htc senssation xe an each time i want to change a rom (different developer) i was obligate to flash a new firmware on wish is based the rom but here it isn't mentionned if i have to, please if u can help me more i'll be so great full,

If the instructions are followed you do not flash firmware as the rom is firmware .

I own a SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 GT I9300 with following details

I've recently roote my phone via odin and have the latest CWM recovery installed
My questions are:-
1) while downloading roms should i go for roms which are based on my android version ie 4.1.2 or can i flash any roms based on any android version?
2) Which GAPPS are available for SGS3GT I9300? should i go for GAPPS for my android version 4.1.2 or any GAPPS?
3) I today tried to flash AVATAR rom "avatar-nightly_3.1-636-20130823-NIGHTLY-i9300" and gapps-jb-20121011-signed and followed the entire procedure of wiping dalvik cache and all but on rebooting got a message that AVATAR ROM HAS DETECTED A CRASH and SET WIZARD HAS FAILED.Please tell me what did i do wrong?

Ask in the roms thread but usual is user not following the instructions .

GApps are for specific roms not something you flash unless instructed to .
Again you are sadly lacking in basic understanding . To avoid bricking your phone read and understand the faqs and guides first .

Dear rootSU the answers were not given earlier.i admit that i've not gone through the basics but i definitely did what was described in the tutorials and that's why i had made a backup of my stock rom and so am ever thankful to you guys and i know you guys are very busy.

thanks JJe, so finally i got a response from you the third time ,although i admit that first two times i was wrong and this i would keep in mind
1) about the avatar rom i did posted in the avatar forum and was told to flash siyah kernel via odin as am coming from stock samaung rom.Not being sure about that i ask you now.

Well, I've had an IMEI issue recently after flashing stock rom back to my S3. When I have flashed the stock rom back, it's written, "Emergency Calls Only" and my IMEI became 0049 and so on. After a while of solution searching, I've seen some post about baseband and modem V1 V2 or something which I don't understand much about it. So, what I did was to flash back to my old rom I've used before and now it worked! and that rom was NeatRom based on XXEMH1.
Now, what I want to ask is, how can I go back to stock rom with my network working properly without emergency calls only and messed up IMEI?
Update: Read some guy posting things about this rom that I'm using. He said it has an outdated baseband or something and I guess I may have to flash kernel, modem to make it catch up with the ROM itself. about it, if anybody has the file, would you please provide me with links to download? Thanks.

Go and read the basics in general, stickies before you flash anything else.
You can't flash any Rom with a modem earlier than EMG4 now, so your stock rom was probably before this.

Hi Guys
I have my phone in Ireland Vodafone. I'm thinking about switch to unbranded rom. The problem is: there is no any unbranded rom for Ireland or I know nothing about it. So, my question is: can I download unbranded rom for UK and flash using Odin? Do I need do something before or after flash? I know there is something like CSC for every Country. Do I need do something with that?
My CSC: I9300VFGEMF1
One more thing my phone is not rooted and I do not need to root it. Can I do whole operation without root?
