I have noticed that under your individual contacts/groups, if you set a Message Alert, the default one you have set for sms/mms is still the ringer of choice....
Anyone have a solution to this?

Hey everybody,
Does anybody know how I could set up a filter on my sms inbox so that messages go to different folders? For example I recieve SMS alerts when I get a new email and I would like these alerts to go into a separate folder. Is this even possible?
I imagine that quite a few people could make use of such a filter and it may even become commonplace with the volume of junk messages now bombarding our phones!!

Hi there, first of all im a noob and ive been only using this phone for a week or so. I am wondering, is there a function to set a message alert (SMS ringtone) specifically to certain contacts? Its frustrating to use global message alert for all the contacts. It would be nice if I can know who is messaging me by assigning them a specific ringtone. Please advice

I have a unique ringtone for some of my contacts, in this case my wife.
I installed whatsapp and really like it EXCEPT that I cannot figure out how to get a text type notification...instead, I get her ringtone whenever she texts me using whatsapp.
This is or should be an easy fix, but I cannot figure it out. When in the app and I call up the menu - contact, I see her normal contact, with her information, including ringtone. So if I change it, then her ringtone will change when she calls me...
is there a workaround so that I have a unique ringtone for phone calls and texts using whatsapp?

Has anyone been able to disable long sms splitting in the default cm10.1 mms app? While sms split works fine, I would rather have the app combine up to three sms messages into a longer psuedo-sms that appears as one block. Also, I understand that after three messages the text is typically converted to an mms. This is not working. My long messages seemingly split into infinitely many parts.
I suppose this is strictly a software issue. l have been able to send long sms messages as one block using other applications. Also, before it was destroyed, this feature (the option to toggle the splitting behavior in the cm10.1 mms app) was available on my galaxy s3 running cm10.1.
Is there a reason this option is omitted from the latest nightly builds? Is there any way I can manually enable this behavior?
