You can flash the kernels for the dx.
Ok, does it work on custom roms such as mysense
Sent from my HTC Desire X using xda app-developers app
Yes it will work on any rom for the dx.
You can use various mods and apps to speed up your device. See the "Mods" section in my signature for a few examples.
Also I'd suggesting flashing fulmix.ROM which has many mods and tweaks already included.

Hi guys,
When i first got my desire X, i immediatly noticed that i can't choose a lockscreen style, so could anyone help me with that?
And also, the multitasking is the standard ICS tweak, is there any way to change that to Sense 4+ style, like with the One X?

desire x is "lite" sense just like the one v
essentially this means:
no lockscreen choices
no 3d homescreen (well on the onev dont know about dx)
no weather video/animations
less widgets
no "cube" sliding tab animation
no tabbed dialer
if you can post some screens of your phone (including all the "about" phone stuff from settings) we can get a better idea of things

And is it possible for other developers to make a full-sense ROM for the Desire X?

the only thing that really needs to be changed in the framework to *enable* most sense4 features is sense definitions in the ext.jar...this will allow for lockscreens/full weather/sense4 recent apps
most of it is importing the apks (idlescreens, weather, modding the systemui for recents) and so on
Ah okay, so if the CWM or TWRP recovery for DX is build, you'll do that? Or make a tutorial how to?
?

What's up guys! I have had my One X+ since the end of last month and I must say, it is one monster of a phone. It has a beautiful screen, great speed, and it is overall the best smart phone I have ever had. (Coming from an Inspire 4G)
The only problem that I have with this phone is that I am experiencing more lag than I would like when I play games such as NFS Most Wanted, Shadowgun, Modern Combat 4, and Dead Trigger.
Does anyone else have this issue with their device? I am beginning to think I may have a defective product.
Or maybe these games just haven't been fully optimized for the Tegra 3 processor on the HOX+ yet? All i know is this processor is too damn good to be performing like how it is.
Any feedback would be tremendous.
thanks
lol I came from the same device. I have played most of those games and haven't experienced much lag if any. Try supercharging.

It is the Tegra. I was playing Mario 64 through n64oid and it was lagging here and there. My old galaxy s2 didn't even lag at that.

What in the world is supercharging?
Also, I've heard that there is a certain program on the Play store that allows you to overclock your device? Do you know anything of that?
Sent from my HTC One X+ using xda app-developers app
If your on powersaver the cpu is limited to 1300 turn off for 1700.
Supercharger is found here...

It is awesome.

Dude you are the best for telling me about supercharger. I had no idea such thing existed. It sped up my system tremendously and now the lag I saw before is non existant now. It's the ****!
It took me a while to install because I was confused but it was worth it in the end.
Thanks bro.

This supercharger make me headache, and hard to understanding.I follow by using smanager, final only get 25% superchargers...
That's because youhave to install the supercharged services.jar which I can't figure out. Also if you went through the supercharger it should be good enough.

HTC Scene is not available for DX with Lite Sense, only the default one.
To have more scenes, you need a Full Sense ROM.

I've just been given a stock Hero and it's a great phone but does run quite slow. I was wondering if rooting and running a custom ROM would result in a faster phone?

I was wondering whether any developers are considering making a 4.4 KitKat based rom for our device, or can this not be done?

Kitkat is just released, give the devs some time. We probably first have to wait for CM 11/10.4
Ok dude, its just ive seen custom roms already made for other devices on youtube already and they look cool

Quick question but why bother about asking for 4.4 rom shouldnt we be focused on a stable cm rom first ? So others can be ported that people want and also making future cms eaisier ?
