This is probably one of the best accessories that I could ever want. It works with any phone with any case as long as the case doesn't already have a kickstand. It also works without a case right on the back of your phone if you trust that your battery back cover won't come off.
Kinda pricy at 30 dollars but considering it's reusable and new sticky adhesives are dirt cheap, it's a steal! Also doubles as a portrait and landscape kickstand... Aways turns heads everywhere I go.

I used one on my S3 loved it... But Im still debating on using it on this beast..... (be sure you size it right)
Never heard of this before, but it looks awesome. I always use this beast one handed and have been fearing the moment I eventually drop it. Unfortunately I can't justify spending $30 for just the flygrip (maybe if they actually had the note 3 case with it), but it did give me an idea. I might just sow (I refers to gf) some elastic cloth loops on some velcro and have the fuzzy velcro end on my case. That way I can take it off if I want, and if I'm using cloth loops it won't be in the way pocketing it. No kickstand though but it might just have to do till the price drops or they get a case for the n3. OOOh and I could stick some prickly velcro on my car-- no need to buy a mount.. Project time!
Edit: Sleep deprivation makes me overly ambitious, will probably just buy a bunker ring (amazon). Under $5 including shipping, might as well give it a try. Phone won't lay flat though.... that might bother the crap out of me.
I would like to try one, but Made in USA or not, the Flygrip should retail for $15 on the HIGH end.
$30 bucks is absolutely outrageous.
i agree about the price, looks really awesome though
Anyone own this and a Bunker Ring? I bought the cheap bunker ring and liked it so much I then bought the real one. I like how the Bunker Ring can spin to any angle so I am hesitant to purchase the Flygrip. I'd love to hear some feedback from someone who has both.

I got the medium to large one. My hands are shorter, but I have bear claws.
I'll do a review when it gets in. With pictures and all.
Medium to large fly grip with the note 3 carbon fiber case. EXCITED TO SAY THE LEAST~
Got the email says it shipped
:cyclops:
I have one on my Note 3 - I actually put it on before I left the store. I've been using them for a year or two now, so fire away with any questions.
Note - in a different forum post, there is concern that the leather on the Note 3 is causing a sticky problem that they (the Flygrip people) are looking into. I think they were suggesting putting the grip on a slim case.
However, I use the Flygrip on a naked device & haven't had any sticky problems at all - it's like it's welded on.
About the only negative about it - it can interfere with some car mounts.

do you find that it gets annoying when sitting on a table? I like to place my note down when sketching or writing notes with the s pen. Also how's it in the pocket? Get caught or bulge much?

I always put it face up on the table & the Flygrip stays flat - you can even spin it in place if you'd like.
I tend not to use the pen nearly enough, but writing or sketching while on a table would not work unless you held it flat with the other hand - otherwise it would rock to much.
No problems in the pocket, but I wear loose pants. I am waiting for delivery: Seidio Spring Holster for Naked Phones Not sure if I'll like it more then just carrying in pocket, but giving it a shot.

Since I am a frequent user of XDA forums for my phone information, I came across this thread. Very happy to hear about discussion about my product and people sharing their experiences.
I wanted to provide some info for those who had some questions.
In response to using Flygrip when using the S-Pen:
You can use flygrip on the table with a slight angle as shown in this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50f3YGRB1YQ
This video shows how to give you a better angle for writing than just using it flat on the tablet.
Another comment earlier in the forum mentioned by "babyshanks" stating that we do not provide a case for note 3. That is incorrect, we do provide a case for the note 3 with each purchase. It is on the drop down list.
I wanted to remind everyone that Flygrip is a one time purchase. Unlike case manufacturers who require you to purchase a new case each time you upgrade your phone, Flygrip can be reused for future phones and/or tablets if they want for years to come. We offer a 60 day money back guarantee, so if anyone wants to try it out for themselves and decide if it is for you. You have 2 months to make your decision (and if you are a little late thats fine too, we are here to provide a product that we feel is super useful).
Any questions feel free to email us at [email protected] and please check out the youtube channel as many of your questions are already answered on the channel FLYGRIPINC
thanks

That changes things slightly, but wasn't there when I looked the other day. It'd be nice if you guys actually posted pictures of the cases you have on the phones. The addition of a case is a big factor for some people such as myself who don't want to just buy a $30 gripper/kickstand

Flygrip offers a year warranty and we have always serviced anyone who has had any issue even if it has been past a year.
What is your order # or email address? We would definitely warranty your Flygrip is something broke.
I love my FlyGrip. I have taken them up on the size swaps and warranty, and always received excellent service. This one is on it's third phone, just peel off and stick to the new one with a fresh sticker. Easy as can be.
I find it difficult to believe that the bunker ring could be half as comfortable as my FlyGrip. But to each their own. The kickstand feature works well even on a note, though better for landscape mode. I think it would be better in portrait if I moved it a little, but I like this location for holding it and that's more useful for me.
I haven't tried the gravity version but on the older two you are able to flip it and reverse and lay it on the table like the previous poster show with the video, but what that video doesn't show is that you could actually connect the kickstand and it will lay at a suitable angle in reverse portrait!
Just don't put too much pressure...but should be fine for note taking!
Flygrip is amazing...and their customer service is even better.

You are correct. We are planning to highlight the cases we offer in a new way in the next few weeks. We will be offering many options on the most popular phones. In the meantime, our YouTube channel (video blog) shows some of the latest cases, installs, and many of the useful benefits of Flygrips. Please check that out when you get a chance and subscribe, as in the next 2 weeks there will be another Flygrip option being launched and you can be up to date on the new stuff coming out.
I see many times in the forums that the questions and comments being made are already answered both on the Flygrip website as well as on the YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/flygripinc
Anyone that is a power user, should really take a closer look at Flygrip as it was developed with my own needs in mind:
1. First and most important for me, to Navigate the entire screen with one hand. For those who are busy and on the go can appreciate this.
2. Fingertips hold your phone in place, which gives your thumb the most reach while giving your hand/wrist the correct ergonomics when holding the phone. No more balancing your phone on your pinky and contorting your hand/fingers to click the screen.
3. Using two hands, one to hold the phone and one to poke at it is just not conducive to being productive..at least for me.
3. Flygrip obviously helps you not drop your phone, but the real idea behind it was to provide the one handed ability, which in return provides real world multitasking. Most people seem to drop their phone when trying to operate it with one hand OR when they are trying to do something else while holding their phone and it ends up falling out of their hands.
4. Ability to quickly get your phone out of your pocket, open the Flygrip, and into your hands, within seconds. You do not need two hands to get your phone out of your pocket, open the Flygrip, get your fingers in.. this all can be done all with one hand..quickly.. This is huge for those who need to answer quick texts, emails, take quick photos, etc.. and put phone back into your pocket. I demo this is most of the videos.
5. The portrait and landscape kickstand feature is a great addition. Both orientations is sort of unique, since most kickstands only work in one direction.
6. Taking photos and videos is much easier with Flygrip and more stable with one hand then with two. Trying to grab the edges of the phone and tapping the screen to snap your photo is not the most ergonomic way to shoot photos. Flygrip also helps with taking pictures and videos at more difficult angles (over someone's head, around a corner, etc. This can not be done with two hands as easily.
7. And most of all, when laying in bed, your phone wont drop on your head (We hear that a lot at the tradeshows that we have gone to)
These are just a few benefits that came to mind.
Unfortunately the best way to learn the benefits is to actually try it. We always ask the retailers who sell Flygrip to demo it as it is the only way to really understand the benefits and comfort. Online videos are the only other way to demonstrate Flygrip, but not as good as first hand demonstrations. That is why we offer a 60 day money back guarantee, this gives everyone a chance to try it out and give it a fair shake and decide for themselves without any risk.
I appreciate all the comments and suggestions, as I use this information to improve.
Thanks for listening. And thank all of you that have supported Flygrip and have spread the word.
Again, always remember if you have any concerns, questions or comments, you can email us at [email protected] for faster response. Most emails during the day M-F are answered within 30 minutes.

I might be paying a premium price. But I enjoy a company that will come on a forum like this and offer support. Mine should be in any day like. I am too damn excited
I work a **** ton and phone use can get minimal. So, my phone is bare naked (besides with bodyguardz pure) and I want something that is not bulky, but I feel like I can get in and out my pocket fast. And based off the videos seems it should. I'll make a little video review of mine. Gotta try out my 4k Video anyway.
Then i'll make a response in a week once I got heavy use to it to see how I have picked up the in and out.
I also thought to purchase this flygrip case for my S4 but as per some bad reviews by my friends over it, I bought this kick stand case...it was less pricey and more genuine too...as most of my friends just got this flygrip broken within a month but the kick stand I purchased is still working very fine...so I would say..I do not have good reviews over this Flygrip case

So my Touch HD is on it's way, finally (you won't believe the hassle I've had - but that's for another thread).
But I'm worried about scratching the screen and am in need of a good case for it.
I've been looking round at websites that sell leather cases for the Touch HD but none of them are really quite what I'm after.
Given the size of the phone, it's going to play havoc with my current tendency to carry my phone and wallet in the same pocket as each other. There just won't be room.
The idea I'd had then would be to get some sort of case that could fulfil both roles - a case for the phone and a wallet.
It's not an idea that would've sprung to mind normally but when chatting to a friend of mine who has an iPhone and mentioned that I'd find the size an issue, he told me that for nights out and times when he doesn't want to carry round too much stuff with him, he has this Ted Baker branded case which fits the iPhone perfectly and also doubles-up as a wallet - it's the top-right one in this picture.
Now, given the iPhone and the Touch HD are almost precisely the same size, I suppose the same case could be an option but as far as I'm aware, it's discontinued. Not to mention, I'm not one for chav-tastic brand names.
On top of that, I'd much prefer a case that suits me exactly, as opposed to the closest fit I can find from the mass-market options.
Anyway, the point of this post is that I'm wondering if anyone is aware of any sites that sell custom/bespoke leather cases.
I'm aware of Vaja but they don't sell cases for the Touch HD yet, or possibly at all (they have no plans to support it yet). I also know of Noreve but they're not too big on the customisation side of things.
So, if anyone's aware of any other options, I'd be interested in hearing them.
See this topic:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=461777&page=3.
Thanks, I was already aware of the Noreve case but that's a better picture of the credit card slots than I've seen elsewhere.
Problem is, I'm not sure that would be enough.
I carry around more than two cards and would want somewhere to put some cash as well.
Thank you again though.
Hi Step666, not sure if you're still looking for one but... http://cgi.ebay.com/E5-EASECASE-Cus...photoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262
I am still looking, yeah.
Thank you, that is perfect, honestly.
In fact it's freakishly close to the image I had in my mind - if I could've designed my own case, it would've been pretty much that one there.
Thanks again.
Those look great, except, when you answer the phone don't you have the flap in front of your face? With all your money and credit cards in full view? While you're half-blinded and distracted? The phone section should be removeable, perhaps velcro or something (though that would add to the bulk)...
The phone appears to just slide straight out the top of the case, so I don't think it would be too bad for answering calls.
Personally, I'm not really looking to use the phone in the case anyway, it's just for when it's just for when it's in my pocket as I won't have room for a separate case and wallet.
I wanted exactly the same thing as Step666, so I just ordered the E5 Easycase. I'll let you know my impressions when I get it.
Sorry, I meant to reply earlier but life being life, it has a habit of getting in the way.
If you could give us your impressions, that'd be a huge help, thanks.
This thread stirred my curiousity.
I am curious and a little skeptical to see how one could have the same case doubling up as a wallet. My wallet is already hugh, with so many credit cards, bank cards, membership cards, library cards. Then, there are name cards which I receive from time to time which gets in there temporarily. Then the notes, and coins. I usually put my wallet into my back pocket. My phone goes to the right side pocket, so there are never together. My key goes to the left side pocket. So I find it inconceivable to put everything into one case before going into the pocket.
My HD is completely protected with a silicon case, so the paintwork is never exposed, whether I'm using it or not. I would like to keep it looking new for a long long time. If we put the phone in this all in one case, and have to take it off the case when using it, then there is a chance of your sweat and hand rubbing against the paintwork, isn't it? How about the inconvenience factor? Having to take it off the case, and put it back? I can't imagine how one would look using the phone if it is not taken out of the wallet.
Perhaps some photographs from those who have tried out would be interesting.

Have you got it yet? Could you also let us know how it goes with the ordering process - I see they do a lot of colour/material options etc.
With one of these and a BT headset, you wouldn't even need to take the phone out of the case. just carry 2 items around.... bliss!
I'm sorely tempted!

Sure, use the BT headset to check mai, to surf internet, to play the FM radio, to view photograph, to watch videos, to take camera picture, to take videos, to find out info on eWallet, to use the calculator, to use the GPS, to send SMS.....
You must have a very magical bluetooth
I'm still waiting for it...
Regarding the ordering process, they reply the sameday to your order and you can send them a message with all your leather type/color... preferences.
I'll let everyone know, when I get it.
If you don't mind me asking when did you order it?
Just wondering because I'm ok just now carrying the HD round in a jacket pocket when I go to work but I'm taking some time off in March and, left to my own devices, I don't normally wear a jacket.
So, I'm starting to wonder if I should wait and see what you think or if I should just bite the bullet myself...

don't be a daftie! I was referring to someone's concerns up thread about using the phone for calls with the cards showing outwards. obviously a BT headset negates that issue, especially one that displays incomong call numbers,or if you have voice command fully setup.

I ordered it on the 5th and it was shipped on the 13th, they said it would take 6-14 working days to arrive. I've already bought a silicon, a clear plastic and a leather pouch type case to find out which would be better for me. So I guess I didn't think much when I saw this thread . I'm currently using the Noreve pouch, but like you said I'm carrying too much stuff already...
Oh, there is one thing I'd like for you to check for me when you get the case, something which could very well make or break the deal for me.
It's whether or not the wallet part is large enough to comfortably hold a £20 note.
If you're not in the UK though, don't worry about it, I can always try contacting the seller directly.

I just spoke to some folks at Seidio today and they notified me that their system has a note that the Tilt 2 for AT&T will never be produced as per their Product Management team.
This is an incredible let-down for myself, and I find it hard to believe that they can't just modify the case currently for the HTC Touch Pro 2 to allow for the PTT key, and sell everyone that case regardless of your service provider.
Anyways, if anyone but myself was waiting on this case,I guess we need to find something else which is a shame.
I was waiting for this case also. I emailed them weeks ago and the return email was on the line that they are in the process of developing products for the tilt 2. So yes, this news is disappointing.
My suggestion, don't spend the extra money for a half-baked case. There are PLENTY of alternatives out there on ebay. I have one and it's wonderful and cost about 1/10 of what any of these "upscale" brands charges.
Sorry, forum was messed up.
Yes, I purchased one of those and it did not come close to fitting my Tilt 2.
For those of us with a Dremel and too much time on our hands, is it possible to mod the Seidio case to a near OEM look. Seems like taking about 3/8 of an inch off the PTT side would be golden. Opinions?
I'm not personally interested in having to pay so much money to "make do".
What I've personally decided to try is the Seidio holster that works with out phone, and a GadgetShieldz full body protection. I was actually really impressed with how this phone looked and didn't want to hide it, so this might be a good compromise.
I use a hard case I found on ebay for about $9. It works wonders, combined with a holster side pouch I bought on the street in NYC for $5. Total $14.
MUCH less than anything Seidio wants to charge.
Just had live chat with Seidio and this is the result.
Angela: hello
Customer74: hello
Customer74: Will you be making the innocase for the tilt 2?
Angela: Yes, we will be, but we don't have an exact ETA yet.
Customer74: Thank you.
Angela: You're very welcome. Is there anything else I can assist you with?
Customer74: Not at this time, thank you.
I had a long chat with them within a day of the original post and they emphatically stated that they were not making it. Who knows....
methinks they're messing with you.
I spoke with them on the phone today (as apposed to the chat like last time) and they again told me that it was not going to be released. I was unable to get any more details.
By the time they get around to making it, it will be like wanting to buy a case for the original tilt - there will be another phone out all off us are moving to =P
I am afraid you are right.

I just applied the GadgetShield a few hours ago and it's already looking great!
Going to wait until tomorrow to try placing it into the case - after feeling the new rubbery skin of the phone (which looks great) I'm not sure it will work together.
When I talked to them in early Dec, they told me at the end of Dec. :-(
Is it possible to use the Touch Pro II case and let it just cover up the other button?
I saw the post regarding modification, just wondering if its possible to ignore the button all together.
I had this case for my original tilt and hated it.
Going with a full phone gadget shield and then a slide-leather case.
the bulkiness of the innocase is just too much for me.
I've been looking for a solution that would offer an easier way to hold the TF with one hand and still allow full 360 rotation. I came across these two on Amazon and I was wondering if anyone here has tried them. Here's the quick pros & cons that I can see:
Hand-e-holder: http://amzn.to/jQ5jzc
+ Hold with one hand / 360 rotation
+ Comfortable wide neoprene backing for your hand
+ Size doesn't matter Uses an adhesive disc to mount one side of the holder to the back of your tablet - so it should work with any tablet out there
- I see the adhesive as a con also - not sure I want to stick anything on the back of my TF. Plus, once it's stuck on there it's semi-permanent in that you can't take it off one day and then stick it back on the next (you'll need to buy a new disc for $6)
- Price is kinda high IMO at $40
Video (47 seconds in): http://video.foxnews.com/v/966135816001/gadget-gift-guide-for-dads/
HeloStrap: http://amzn.to/jKnO39
+ Hold with one hand / 360 rotation
+ Comes in multiple colors (red, green, blue, black)
+ Price: Only $25, so $15 cheaper than the Hand-e-holder above
+ Attaches to your tablet via elastic bands or grips so you can easily attach or remove it. Also will work while your table is in a sleeve.
- "Officially" only supports ipad, ipad2, & Xoom. I did a comparison and while the TF is longer on one side, it's shorter on the other. So I jumped into my wayback machine (and google) to figure out the "hypotenuse" and it looks like the TF is ~20mm longer. From what *I* can see of the HeloStrap in the images it certainly looks like the elasticity could accommodate that extra 20mm.
- The part of the HeloStrap that your hand fits into doesn't look as comfortable as the Hand-e-holder. Actually, that was the only con mentioned for it on the Amazon reviews - that it could be a tad more comfortable. But it also wasn't bad enough for folks to warrant it any less than 4 stars.
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpZ4-pdq3ag
I put in an order for the HeloStrap (black) because I like that I can pop it on and off easily - with or without my TF in the sleeve. I'll post back here when it shows up and let folks know how it works out.
I'd still like to hear from anyone else that's tried one of these - OR that has found another option that allows for the 360 rotation.
Please post up how you like it when you get it.

Ya thing so?? Why? The HeloStrap seems to hold fine on the iPads - and it will be a bit more snug on the TF.
Even on the other one, the adhesive seems pretty tight.
I'm not going to be doing any BMXing with it - I'm just looking for easier one-handed holding while couch surfing and swyping with the other..
Unfortunately neither one was Amazon Prime so it may take a several days to get here. Hopefully before the weekend though and I'll be sure to report back!
Never even knew anything like these existed. Of the two I like the HeloStrap more... really tempted to buy one, but I've wasted too much money lately so ill wait for a review.

What? You'd likely shatter your pad doing that no matter what.
I went a similar but slightly different route with the Padlette (padlette.com) which I bought off of Amazon. It's not as fancy as the other options, but it's pretty heavy duty and I have little to no fear about it breaking or slipping off. You can either hold it in one hand or you can slip you hand in behind.
In either case, an option worth looking at.
How comfortable is the padlette on your hand? Does it feel tight after an hour or two holding the Transformer? Is it equally comfortable in portrait and landscape? Also, how is the fit on the tablet?
Also, a question about the Helo, Do the straps at the corners mark/scratch the tablet trim or screen?
Excellent FIND...and I think I am tending towards ordering one too....
I will do more research as well and keep you'al updated...
Good luck with yours.
Regards,
Misfitz

I find it very comfortable. I was participating in an event this weekend that required that I hold the pad for roughly four hours and I did so with no problems. You can either grab it with your fingers (my preferred method) by hooking them around the straps, or you can simply slide your hand in behind.
Because it's at the same angle in either portrait or landscape it's equally easy to hold it in either configuration. I also like that it's removable without leaving any evidence that it was there. The only (minor) problem I've seen is that I have to have it oriented in SW to NE because in the NW to SE direction it covers up the volume rocker.
Thanks. I'm very interested in the padlette... sounds like it may be worth $20.
Sorry for the delay in following-up. I wanted to put a short video up, but my Sony Vegas just hasn't been cooperating with me.
I received the HeloStrap last Thursday and finally had a chance to play with it last night.
Overall, I think it's great. I definitely agree with the 4/5 stars rating on Amazon. The only con being that the hand part of the strap could have been more comfortable. It's not horrible by any means. You just notice it when you first start using it, but then quickly forget about it.
It still looks like the Hand-e-holder would win in the comfort category, BUT - I prefer the HeloStrap because of the lower price and the fact that I can slip it on or off easily vs having to semi-permanently stick the Hand-e-holder on. If I didn't have the Asus sleeve for my TF that probably wouldn't be as much of a factor.
BTW, the HeloStrap gives a nice snug fit on the Transformer with or without the sleeve. It's snug, but not so tight that it would be a concern (this is what I wanted to show in the video). It definitely feels very secure - I don't see the TF "falling out" of it or anything.
It certainly made the couch surfing MUCH more enjoyable last night which was my primary goal!
If I didn't have the sleeve I would be much more tempted to try out the Hand-e-holder, but the HeloStrap is the one that gives me the option of using it easily with the sleeve or without. Now i just need to see if my wife can come up with some idea for making the hand part a lil cushier!
I'll take another crack and getting a video together and will post that as soon as I can.
I finally got around to shooting a quick video of the HeloStrap on my TF. Hopefully this will give you an idea of how it fits - with and without the sleeve.

Not sure, but given that it's a full sleeve/case made to fit the ipad, I don't think it would work for the TF. The dimensions are too different.
The HeloStrap just needs to stretch diagonally from one corner to another - whereas that sleeve360 would have to fit all 4 corners.
Let us know if you give it a shot though!
That extra tension on the corners of my Transformer would amplify the screen bleed issue I'm having by 200%. Looks cool though.

Know what - I think you can stick this to the outer part of your folio and use it. So that the TF remains pristine.
Even better - with the Techtree stand, you can create your own 360 degree rotating hand holder.
Hi,
I know the 'Adonit Jot' is quite popular on this area of the forum but I'll ask anyway
I've been looking at stylus's that would work well with the asus (handwriting ability would be helpful) and have come across the following stylus's in my search (that are easy to get hold of in the uk - aka amazon and ebay )
- Adonit Jot
- Media Devil Magic Wand
- Acase (2nd gen)
- Targus
- Griffin (both standard and slimline versions)
- Boxwave
- Dagi
- Samsung Capacative Stylus
have any of you tried out these stylus's and if so have you liked them or not (or is there a good stylus I have missed from my list?
Personally right now I'm leaning towards the griffin (as it is semi cheap and has good reviews) and getting one of each type (though as I could not find the slimline version on the griffin website i'm not sure if it is a fake or not) - it be nice if a nib type stylus existed but they don't seem to work on capacitive screens?!
Anyways, any opinion would be great on this
I personally really dislike writing with "normal" capacitive stylus (like Griffin or the capacitive Wacom). It's like trying to write with a fat felt-tip pen.
Adonit is of course great for writing. It can have skipping problem - then you have to get replacement discs or even replace the stylus, but their customer supports seems quite good. Dagi requires strict angle of writing if I remember correctly.
Adonit- Dont waste your time. you will be spending all of your waking hours getting replacement disks or a new stylus when it skips, or getting argued with from the cust service rep on the jot thread or waiting for days for cust service to respond to you. but other than that it was great for the 2 days it did not skip.
I have used both the griffin and acase genII- I recommend the acase- it works great on my TFR. but i also use rainx on my screen(it has not screen protector on it) aand that i think is what makes it not hang and respond very smoothly while handwritting. (Rainx- three coats about once every 3 weeks) Helps the stylus move smoothly and cuts down on finger prints.
Adonit has great customer service... but mine has been skipping since day 1. However, I have found a temporary fix while I wait for the (free) replacement disks. I use saliva to lubricate and conduct between the metal ball and the disk... I would use some other thing but I haven't found a gel around the apartment .

Don't listen to this fool. Read the Adonit Jot thread, the customer service manager never argued and offered great service, replacing the product several times to try to make him happy. He's being a baby and complaining about anything he can think of to try to make the product look worse.
The Jot works great. I love it.
Thanks for all the replies so far
I think it's comes down to a personal preference thing - some type of stylus's will work for some but not others!
I have to agree that the "standard" shaped stylus does look a bit difficult to draw and write with but it could be different once I try it out.................plus the transformer is not for me but my mum so it's what suits her.
The adonit jot looks like an interesting opinion - the major problem is that I'm located in the UK and that stylus is really marked up here ($33+ for the jot and $40+ for the pro) and the tip replacements aren't sold here and though can be bought via the official site costs $15.43 shipping per order which is mad........................... I wish we in the UK had as many opinions (and the same prices!) as those in the USA
i don't know if the following is UK only but the MediaDevil Magic wand looks interesting - same shape as the griffin, targus, etc................ but the reviews on amazon are really high and it's only about £10.
The acase 2nd gen looks interesting and easier to write with but i have read mixed reviews - many say that the material used for the tip is too soft so doesn't work so well but I don't know how true that is
Anyways thanks for the opinions and hope to hear more of peoples 2 cents on this topic so to speak
Edit: Rain x? - do you mean this stuff? (http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/rain-x/foaming-glass-cleaner.aspx) - is that safe to use on a tablet? (though it would be a tablet with a screen protector)
Search YouTube for "eee pad transformer gorilla glass" and watch the video Asus put together. You don't need a screen protector, and most will have negative effects on the performance of stylus.

What prices do you see on our official site, http://adonit.net? If the prices there are ok, you can buy a Jot and a pair of replacement discs with it, to save you buying them separately later, and saving you an extra shipping cost.
Something that I would consider, different styli are probably better for writing notes than for sketching drawings. I'd just use my finger for the former but a good stylus for the latter if possible. That's also why I've been watching this thread lol.
I'm not entirely sure capacitive = good idea for a stylus in general, but people seem to pull it off.

I always find it funny when the same 4 people are commenting 97% of the time ( as seen on the Jot thread) and it seems that if there is an opinion that they dont agree on then they attack that person.
Listen G I am glad you love your jot so much - you probably sleep with it under your pillow.
But unfortunately there are alot of people who have problems with the Jot and answering someone others question i gave that person my opinion. Who are you to even involve your self with criticising my answer.
I hope they do read the entire jot thread to see what i mean.
1 important point to look for is all the excuses that pop up about why the jot is skipping. bad batch of disks, even though some people have use like 6 of them, try using conductive grease, try using saliva, try using the packaging from the bag the extra disks were sent in, not enough conductivity- now thats funny, and the list goes on,
Uh, not sure about anyone else but when i spend $30ish on a stylus- I expect it to work out of the box and don't expect to return disks over and over, or stand on my right leg after i hocked a flem ball into it - to get it to work properly.
Buy it at your own risk....but there are many other options out there.
Not a baby but i expect a little more out of a product when i buy it.
Now i am not sure when it became acceptable on this forum for an employee of a company to push their product on every thread about a stylus. Perhaps that is why he is banned on the apple thread he mentioned.

Are you actually implying that I am connected to Adonit in some way? LOL. I just got it under a week ago. I just started posting in the thread under a week ago. I'm a retired moderator, ffs. But yeah, go ahead and question the reasoning behind my posts. They're clearly all spam for Adonit.
As for Adonit "pushing their product in every thread" -- this is most certainly a LIE in your behalf. I've already told Jon that as long as he keeps it in the few threads where CS is required, it's okay. Did you not pay attention to that part of the thread either?

No I understand you are a fanboy not an employee..... and yes i was speaking about Jon as an employee.
Bottom line the product is flawed. And if the best you guys can do is attack someone with an opinion for others who are thinking about buying this thing or nonstop excuses about how to make a broken one work....good luck
Yeah i know this thread was clearly screaming out for Jons help and that is why he took the time to plug his website...
Come on a retired Mod should understand this......well at least one who isn;t a fanboy.
What I understand is that you said Jon had argued with you in that thread. Could you find the part where he treated you badly, and post it for us to see? Could you also find the part of the thread where Jon offered you several replacements in an attempt to make you happy, and eventually offered a full refund to you? Do you not understand that Adonit owed you *absolutely nothing* and went out of their way *and took a loss* just to make you happy? It's not like they get the stylus back, then resell them. So 4 stylus given away essentially, considering you got the refund.
I don't see how that's arguing with you.

Listen this is my last response to your pettiness..... What in hell makes you the spokes person for them.
Lets start off by saying i sent the jot back to them and got my refund, they did not just give me a refund and let me keep it.....that was after 5 disks did not work.
If you read my post i said nothing but good things about the jot and that i was even interested in buying it again after the issues were fixed. My issues with cust service were through their official site with the long delays in comminucation and deliverery.
On the jot thread and their site I mentioned i needed a working stylus for the amount of work i do on my TFR each day and did not have the time to wait a week +each time. I thanked Jon numerous times for his efforts but the time when i started to get annoyed is when he like you felt the need to comment on every thing i posted when i was giving feedback to others who asked questions.
Stop pestering me with your fanboy crap. I am entitled to my opinions especially when someone asks for it....I think that if someone asks for an opiniion on a thread they are entitled to hear good experiences and bad experiences without either opinion getting attacked.
We get it....you love it...GREAT . i wish i had a better experience with it but i didn't.....by the way it has only been a week...i hope it doesn't starts to skip on you.
This is not the only thread about the jot that Jon is spamming.....One he already got kicked off.
I'm no moderator here but will you guys (and or gals) take this outside? I'm interested in this thread not in your semi-related discuession, and odds are it's better to have one thread for "Best capacitive stylus (for the asus)" and one for y'all to give us something we can pop corn and read.
It's certainly more a pop corn eater than on topic in my honest opinion.

You didn't do this. Probably because you know you can't. So you should probably go edit your post about this, as it clearly isn't true. Lol'd at you accusing Jon of spamming, though. Are you seriously delusional/idiotic enough to believe that what Jon is doing in that thread is spamming? The thread is already made. He's answering peoples questions and helping customers. You're really, really thick if you think that is spamming, period.
I'm done, now. Apologies for the off-topic bickering, just can't stand some of these self-entitled people.

From what I can gather there is 3 sort of capacitive stylus's availiable to buy:
- The bog standard rounded end stylus made out of rubber/foam (such as boxwave, griffin, targus, etc....) - good for general tablet navigating (these come in normal 9mm? nib ends or the 'slimline' versions with about a 6mm end)
- The 'precision plastics' (the adonit jots and Dagi) - probably the best sort for precision/detail work such as handwriting and perhaps sketching but perhaps not so great for general navigation things
- The conductive fiber cloth stylus (Aponyo and Kosella (don't know if these are the same people but their are 2 different websites!) - these look similar to the bog standard stylus's just they use conductive fiber in their nibs instead of rubber. On the downside the nib looks softer/easier to press into itself which may annoy some people. Plus side though their seems like there would be less friction with the screen with the fiber tip than with a rubber tip and less likely to scratch. It looks like it be good for doing artwork/mimicking a paintbrush
I don't think after all i've read that there is (currently) a stylus type out there that can tick all the job boxes (unless you only need one box ticked like just using the tablet to take notes or surf the web)
Any (or at least the majority) of artists out there would need more than 1 type of pencil or one type/size of brush and perhaps that is the way that stylus's should be looked at for the time being at least.
I'm thinking that it may be a good idea to try out one of all 3 and hopefully at least one will suit. At the moment i'm leaning towards:
- Griffin for the bog standard stylus (cheap and very good reviews) - I just can't decide between the normal or slimline sizes
- Adonit Jot for the precision/handwriting stuff (I take what everyone has said on this - pos and neg stuff alike but if it works as it should it it would tick a few of those boxes the griffin can't (or at least as well) and I've managed to contact a couple of UK retailers that have excellent customer service (and direct links to adonit themselves) - i still wants to double check a few things but all in all it looks promising)
- At time of writing i'm contacting Aponyo and Kosella to find out more about the stylus's and see if they sell/have retailers in the uk. However there is a seller on ebay selling a mock or oem/factory direct of the Kosella stylus's (looks exactly the same apart from lack of logo) - the price is good and sometimes the fake's/oem's can be just as well made as the official ones without the price tag - I'm interested in comparing it to the rubber nib stylus.
I'm still not sure whether I'll get a screen protector or not - I've always been a 'better safe than sorry' person and if the protector doesn't affect the stylus much then it's worth having in my book.
I have a couple of spare screen protectors for my dsi xl around the house (and I believe screen protectors of any gadget are designed not to leave a mark when taken off) - I was thinking about putting one of those on and compare the stylus's functionality with and without a screen protector side by side before deciding whether to purchase a screen protector or not..................well I thought it was a neat idea
Anyway keep the opinions coming and I hope the above post may of helped some other

There isn't really a need for a screen protector on the Transformer. There's no chance a stylus could scratch it.

Well, the problem some people (such as myself) have with someone like you is not that you have a negative opinion on a product. The problem is you go above and beyond in your criticism. Allow me to explain.
So, you started out with having skipping problems. So, adonit sent you 2 replacement discs (or more than that). You claimed to still have skipping problems so adonit was more than willing to take your jot back and gave you a full refund. Listen, I'm in my late 20s and I can assure you that based on my experience that's as good as customer service can ever get in this world. Be glad that there's a CS rep here who is very interactive with their customers. Most companies would just ignore your inquiries. I often make this comparison.
Would you rather adonit be like most other companies where all your complaints fall on deaf ears?
You're also ignoring the vast majority of us who have never had a problem with the jot. This is why when my friend asked me which stylus he should get I showed him the jot. For me, I barely have to put any pressure on it when I write. The response is simply put phenomenal for me. But when my friend tried it on his TF, it skipped like a mofo. When I tried it on his TF, worked just fine.
We then tried did a series of experiments. Same TF, same jot, same angle, different user. Each and every time when I use the jot with barely any pressure the response is instantaneous. But when my friend tried to use it, it skipped like a mofo.
Our experiments are perfect proof that different styli work for different people. Our working theory is different people have different electrostatic potential.
You, sir, are the reason why so far I've turned away more than half the people who have contacted me for modifying the dock and soldering in a 500 gb hard drive. You're also the reason why I quit my job as a cop. When you whine, you really really whine.
One person even demanded some kind of warranty from me for the mod of his dock. Am I glad I didn't even consider his offer, which was like $30 below my offer to college students. I just told him I was no longer doing it so he could go away. Thankfully, he did go away.
So, I don't mind you criticize the adonit jot. I really don't. I think it is healthy that we have choice in our lives. So, criticize all you want. What I have a problem with is you exaggerate the problem, ignore all the customer service that you received, and then whine nonstop.
You remind me of that Judge in DC that sued the Korean couple who supposedly lost his pants in their dry cleaning business for $54 million. In fact, perhaps that is you.

And no, I don't work for adonit. I don't think they'd have any use for a structural engineer like myself.

Spamming? Are you like rain man or something? You can't tell the difference between answering an inquiry and spamming? Someone stated he was wondering about something or other and Fort answered his inquiry. How is that spamming?
Again, would you rather deal with a company that responds directly to you when you ask for something or would you rather deal with a company that acts more like god? Pray all you want, god works in mysterious ways...
I'm not usually one to spend a bunch of money on a case...but this one looked to awesome to pass up:
http://zenuscaseusa.com/
Sold on ebay for $59.99
That's nice.. I'd use it as a wallet!! Lol
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using XDA App
I also picked one up. I'm a little bit scared of the magnet messing up the screen, but hopefully the covers thickness helps a bit
As nice as this case is I'm a little skeptical about its practicality. For one the wallet/case appears to add a lot of extra bulk to the phone, kinda making it to big to put in your pocket.
Second, it is a case-wallet. Would you be using it as a wallet as well? If you are keep in mind that if you ever lost your phone you would be losing your money, credit cards, ID's, etc along with it. Basically you would be getting screwed in 2 ways if your phone happened to get lost or stolen.
Third, unless you have a Bluetooth headset it seems a little too cumbersome to have a call on. The flap seems like it will get in the way unless you fold it back.
Lastly, the price. $60 for a case is just a lot of dough. I'm not one to cheap out on a case but for this to work for me I would not only need the case but a full body kit such as Zagg, Bodyguardz, Phantomskinz, etc to go along with it.
Don't get me wrong its a beautiful and classy looking case, just not sure if its for me.
I like these cases a lot. I think they may appeal to many people. I have always wanted a case that incorporates a wallet. However, my ideal case would be a big rugged Trident, Ballisitc or Otterbox that allows you to slide in a few credit cards.
I should add that I like the look of the cases. I haven't actually seen them in person.

I currently use a Credit Card Case for my IPhone 4S and have carried my License, Credit Card, and Debit Card with my phone for the last 8 months. I absolutely love being able to not have to carry around a separate wallet. I haven't lost my phone as of yet, so no worries about losing my credit cards...but I understand how that might be a concern for some. It just simply cuts down on the number of things I have to scramble around the house to find before I can go out. My checklist currently is (Keys, Phone, and unfortunately...cigarettes). Now...would I prefer to have it in a non-flip case format (like what I'm using now)? Sure would. But until someone comes out with one for the Note, this will have to do.
On that note (no pun intended), case manufacturers need to pay attention here. I suppose when a phone is as insanely popular as the Iphone's are, it makes sense to make a wide variety of cases. Android phones don't seem to get the same kind of love. I would buy immediately a thin case that allowed me to slide a couple of cards on the back of the case..but alas...no credit card case android love.
Will this hold the i717 tightly? My flip cover for the N7000 does not fit on my i717.

I asked a seller on eBay about this and he assured me that it would fit. I get the case today, so I'll let you know once i test a phone
No phone yet, but this case came in today!
wow! it looks a lot lighter than i expected. Still nice though ^^
How well does money fit in there? I pre-ordered one from ebay as well, and I'm just waiting for it to come in.
I've been using an iPhone wallet for months now and love it. I can't go back to using a standard wallet. I already got my hands on the Anymode wallet case with a swivel stand, but I'm not happy with the little bulk the swivel button adds in the center.
Since I'm a noob I can't post a link yet, but its one of the two tone wallet cases on ebay that have the picture window for the a drivers license. I also find that the swivel piece moves a bit too freely.

Nice looking case man! Did you order it from somewhere other than Zenus? They are out of stock.

Money fits fine. Folded in half of course... But would expect to be able to fit at least ten bills. I don't use cash, but it's nice to have that little pocket to add receipts to and stuff.

Sorry to hear that!!!! When I ordered it said more than 10 left....Guess they had a rush on them.
My Advantage came with a case like this. Even though it offered great protection and the ability to stand the phone up, I found it to be too cumbersome so it never saw the light of day. I got a belt case instead.
I can see why you bought it, impressive...kinda retro-classic...but still tasteful; not overdone. Right out of a Gibson novel. A unique case for a unique device.
Interested how this eye candy will translate into practical daily use. Feel free to update.
No worries on the magnet. The notes amoled should be okay with the magnet, just don't rest it on your laptop at home or worse get near a plasma tv!
