Sometimes my phone switches to emergency mode for couple minutes and it doesnt matter how mcuh time i restart it doesnt come out of that mode until some time passes..
I have 2:
Mine: LG OG with 4.3.1 slim bean rom with cmw-ATTJB radio
My Mom: I did 4.1.2 Stock but went back to 4.0.4 with cwm-ATTJB radio.
Note! Im not on ATT i have them unlocked in Jamaica they operate on 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
And on GSM the OG has the following below so im good in terms of 3g no 4g
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100
4G Network LTE 700 MHz Class 17 / 1700 / 2100

Anyone experiences these issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Try another sim and see if that works for you. If the other sim does it too... Your phone would need work (repair.)

If its happening on both phones it's likely a coverage/signal issue, if its just one the next time it happens power off, remove sim, replace, power back up. If that resolves it get a new sim, if not report back.

[Q] EVo 3D works in Europe?

Hello
I`m in California now. I really want to buy the EVO 3D without contract here.
I live in Switzerland. We don`t have 4g or Wimax.
AFAIK we have GSM, UMTS, HSDPA, EDGE, 3G.
Is the Hardware in the phone working in Switzerland?
For Software I will install custom roms.
Thank you
Nope, wait for the gsm version, should be out soon around the world
Sent from my PC36100
Are you sure?
Here are the specs: http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_evo_3d-3901.php
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 900 / 1700 / 2100
I think we have the same in Switzerland...
The Nexus One I ordered from USA too, works perfectly...
Can anyone say why this phone is different?
Thank You
It's not a GSM phone. It uses CDMA (no SIM card) so it will not be compatible with any European networks.
Oh, thank you for explaining me. I did` t know the difference.
Well, then I have to wait...
Maybe I can at least go to bestbuy and check the phone out.

[Q] Will At&t i777 work in UK?

Hey guys, just about to trade and get one of these, I just want to know if it can work in the UK because At&t is USA based. Will my O2 sim work in it by using the app from the market which carrier unlocks it?
No comments about my username please

It'll probably work but I don't think o2 supports the 3g bands our phone uses so you'll be running on edge

thanks,
I searched up o2's 3g bands and it came up with, 850,900 and 1800.
The samsung galaxy s2 i777 model bands: Quad-Band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, 3G EURO/AT&T AND 3G Network HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100
So it could possibly work. I don't use 3G much anyway, I only get 2g in my area and at school I get HSDPA. Might ask the trader if i can trial the:
a) sim
b) network connection bands

Just might have to make sure you are not in a 1900 mhz band area

Just FYI, only ONE of the frequencies need to match for you to get 3G, they don't send out one frequency at a time.

[Q] 4G with LTE in Singapore

Hi,
All Guys in Singapore specially pay heed
I bought this lovely phone to be able to enjoy quad core for one and LTE data access. It seems that when I try to connect to the 4G LTE on Starhub (in Singapore), I only get 4G, not the LTE speeds.
Please correct me if I am wrong, that the e970 has 1700 and 2100 band for the LTE, while Singapore only has 1800 and 2600 bands available.
Is there any possibility of enabling 1800 and 2600 bands?
The local variant is the E975, can I flash the stock e975 firmware to the e970 without adverse effects?
milind
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100
4G Network LTE 700 MHz Class 17 / 1700 / 2100
You can use 2G, not sure what the 3g band is in Singapore.

My quick search shows Singapore uses 2100 for 3g, so the phone will support it. However, you cannot add or enable new frequencies. The hardware does not support them unfortunately. Your local LTE is not compatible with the E970

You can use 3G/HSPA+, I was there last week and I was getting 5-6 Mbps using SingTel prepaid.
EDIT- No LTE, sadly. But 3G was enough for anything I'd do on my phone.
H+ in singapore

HI,
yes the HSPAP works quite well. Im on the StarHub network, I also get a decent data rate. But LTE is LTE, it would have been nice to be able to coax the E970 somehow into those bands.

bad that and convert it to other frequencies cannot be

I'd say check and see what frequency they operate at then compare it with the max. As long as your sim card slot is unlocked it should I would think.

Very much doubt it,unless you get a verizon straight talk sim
I would like to do this with my Sprint Max....

I have a Sprint One Max that I sim unlocked and use a straight talk at&t sim , mms works with go sms , or evolve , just have to manually set APN settings I get a better signal than I did with my htc sensation with a straight talk t-mobile sim , no LTE but HSPA , I know the Max is compatible with at&t or t-mobile straight talk sims and pretty much covers all bands for just about everyone but I would still double check with the provider you want to use just to make sure

So LTE isn't an option? Are you using a 4.2.2 ROM, as I am...is it necessary for me to revert back to 4.3? Sorry for the 21 q's....
I stand corrected,3g,4g obviously but I dont think it has att or tmobile lte frequencies...if you want those straight talk offers a verizon sim now i think. Good luck

no,not yet at least, i think it has to do with straight talk and not the phone cause I'm sure it covers the bands and I have been on 4.3 and currently on 4.4 ( was on viper rom now on nusense) and have tried everything to get lte going but my hspa speeds are still pretty good though so no complaints here , but again I have a sprint Max with a straight talk at&t sim so not sure if it would be the same for yours or not but I would think so

[Q] Help getting 3G working on my 64 GB X+ AT&T

Hello all,
I have just made a rookie mistake, and bought an unlocked phone to use on the AT&T network. After putting my Sim card in, i noticed that I only had 2G (Edge)... So I did some research, and quickly found out that AT&T's LTE network is on 700 and 1700 bands... And my new phone only works with
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
Well... After doing some more research... I found out that AT&T 3G is on 850 and 1900... So shouldn't I be able to at least get 3G to function? I have tried a couple different APN settings... But so far I either only get edge... Or it says the mobile network failed to turn on due to an APN setting error...
Please help! This phone is pretty much useless without the internet for me... I can deal with 3G...but edge is unusable...
Thanks ahead of time
Hello MrBoard,
Have you tried to configure your APN settings by the homepage of your provider? They often offer such services. Maybe it can help you solve your problem.
But I have a similar problem, I although can't get 3G, every other connection is working, just 3G.
Does anyone knows a solution?

I entered the apn directly off the At&t website... We'll see if it works... I'm going to try switching the sim card out...hopefully I can use SOMETHING other than edge!
