i want to share modern xperia home for gingerbread like the other post here
is there anybody want to try it? because i'm not in gb so i can't test it
installation
extract files
move home.apk to system/app/
set permission to rw-r-r-
don't forget to backup your system
DOWNLOAD

So dude. Didnt know you had uploaded new file. It worked. Only 2 issues.
1:no corners like your ics version
2:home screen background no working like your ics version. Default background instead of your ics version style having Xperia text and the honeycomb

Same missing things
1. Home screen background is still blank
2.no corners as in your ics version
3 background with Xperia text above apptray key and honeycomb not visible at all. Screen displays blank as earlier

the home is working perfectly on XPERIA U ics
Related
Replace framework-res.apk in system/framework.
Set permissions to rw_ r_ _ r_ _
Remember to make backup of framework-res.apk

Hi guys, I just updated my Neo from 2.3.4 to 4.0... and it looks really AWFULL.
Can I change the theme to the 2.3.4 colours? or I have to reflash it?

Ofcourse u can change the theme just copy the wallpapers in the defaulttheme.APk of gb to ics.....
U can also use the gb home.APk if u liked that.....

Change Theme & Downgrade !
Hi Photobias,
If you would like to change themes you can use my tool XThemer | Xperia Theme Creator.
If you would like to downgrade your phone Look Here.
But ICS is wonderful and it is simple to Install themes or mods. But if you decided to downgrade please be careful while using Flashtool.
I would appreciate if somebody could the upload the original SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk for the Xperia U(ics !!!)

Just download the framework you want and place it into the downloaded Theme CWM Template.zip(from link above)and flash it in cwm.
Xperia Home With Auto Rotation
Many of you will like Xperia Stock Home launcher to auto Rotate...
After many efforts and failures i was successfully able to compile Home.apk and support Auto Rotate...
I have tested this on Xperia P and dont know if it will work for other devices like GO or not...
Try it after installing any other launcher from market so that if it not works you will have a replacement for Home...
Requirements:
1. Xperia P Stock firmware 6.2.A.0.400 or any stock JB based ROM
2. Root
3.CWM
Instructions:
Just flash in CWM and Enjoy :laugh:

Its not required... Permissions will be automatically changed to default
