Use RSD lite to flash back to stock. It's by far the simplest and best way. Send me an IM if you have any issues [email protected]

Hey guys,
i updated my razr to ics via the fastboot files. the update went through and i got a pass. now when i turn on my phone i get into a bootloop. sometimes the phone boots and restart after some minutes.
for the update i used rsd lite 5.7 and this fastboot file:
SPDREM_U_01.6.7.2-180_SPU-19-TA-11.2_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA_USASPDRICSRTGB_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot.xml.zip
before the update i dont wipe my phone but now when i got into the bootloop i tried to wipe my phone but i am still in a bootloop.
have somebody an idea what i can do to get rid of this f*** bootloop?
I don't understand if you wiped and still have bootloop ore you couldn't wipe because of the bootloop.
If the latter, press powerbutton and vol down to reset and right after the reset press volume up and down and powerbutton
while the bootloop i make a force shut down and then i can boot in the recovery mode. so i can do a wipe i can also run in an ap fastboot mode but the factory recovery or the cache wipe do not help i got still the bootloop
Wipe again and try to reflash again with rds lite
already tried, i dosent help. i really dont know what the problem is. the updating process works fine no failures but i got into a bootloop
uhm is strange, are you sure that the sfb you are using is the correct one for your phone?
i was sure, now i am not i have a gsm retail razr and i think this is the right sbf, isnt it?

What's your region Razr? It's .Eu, .Asia, .Latam?
Anyway, try erasing cache and data prior flash with rsd lite
Code:
fastboot erase cache
Code:
fastboot erase userdata
Cheers
i am in EU
i made data wipe and cache wipe before the flash with rsd lite, but no changes

Do as I said and flash Ics again. Erase works somehow different from wipe.
.eu is your region razr?
Cheers

oh sorry,
can you explain me how i can make a fastbook erase cache/userdata? i only know how to wipe data
yes the region of my razr is .eu
You have the sdk installed on your pc? If yes go into platform-tool with the cmd (if you are win, therminal if you are on linux/mac)
then type the life of pedro during fastboot ap
i did it like you both said. everything went fine the fastboot erase cache/userdata and the flash with the Final EU Android 4.0 ICS rom. but still i have a bootloop -.-
do you know is there an other ics rom which i can try for my razr?
i also tried to update with the leaked update file but i am still in a bootloop ....
Your razr is probably from another region.
Its not right to get a bootloop after flashing a stock rom and wipe data n cache.
Repeat the wipes in recovery. Both data n cache.
Cheers

I agree. The radio wouldn't be flashed if it was a wrong region rom.
Anyway, check your region razr in motorola support page. Check for ur warranty status ir will return ur razr region n carrier
Meanwhile: download and flash this with rsd lite 5.7

Youre getting this error because of missing webtop partition, and I think you're trying to flash GB. If your doing it over ICS then I am not sure if you can do it directly, however to resolve your current error download the fastboot file for Asia or EU both will work fine for you and use RSD to flash it, worked for me.
Search for Razr ICS leak and you can find it, and not the OTA the complete one. I cannot post the link but it is available on Eternity project website just google it.
Not sure if it helps but I was actually on ICS and wanted to upgrade to the JB leak. Erased my CID but forgot to pull the cid.img file off the phone onto my PC.
Am I screwed or is there a way to resolve this?

If you have deleted the cid w/o backup then i guess you're not really screwed. You can still run your mobile but will have to boot using BP tools every time.
But you will only be able to flash the Verizon JB leak once you have restored your webtop partition.
Can you try to flash latest EU ICS rom with RSDlite.
I hope you backed-up your CID? if so, first restore it than flash EU rom.

You said you forgot to pull it out from your phone but if you had backed it up using the terminal emulator than the image will be available in the root of your sd card you can easily restore it using fastboot once you have access to your internal memory, just open command window in your pc and type : fastboot restore cid cid.img remember to keep the image file in the same folder as fastboot file and everything will work out fine.

help me .plz
Do not use the Razr Utility 1.8.2. When I tried to install a stock version of ICS it bricked my phone.
You need to download the RSD Lite 5.7 or newer and found a stock rom which is suitable to your phone and your region (country).
Then you will flash it to your phone using the RSD Lite. Some roms can show failures during the process, but I think it's normal, because I tried six times before succeed in the flashing process.
Good luck!
it is result when i use utility 1.82. i appriciate any solution.

No one can help you because you are not listening. MichelBFR suggested RSD Lite.. we understand you're using Droid utility 1.82. That's your problem. Flash a new ROM using RSD lite. If you can't figure that out, you probably shouldn't have been messing with kernels and ROMS in the first place.
Hi all I introduce myself, I am new to all this from xda, and I need help urgently, update my motorola razr ics 4.0.4 to JB since i was all good, the upgrade me very hard one week, after that performance the battery low too until one day it did not catch on discharge and more, when connected to the USB wall charger and carrying not connect to pc only a white LED lit, try flashing the factory cable, which resulted in obtube mode to enter the fasboot however every effort was useless since flash series of errors appeared and until this day and could not fix it because it comes up when trying to flash motorola logo and then restarts, the battery does not charge and whatever you do either through eternityprj_Fla**** Rds lite or the result is always the same "INFOPreflash validation failure" sorry if I could not explain in a good way but my English helped a translator is not the best (I'm from chile)
Greetings to all and I hope you can help me!!

hi boys
My cell phone battery and antenna signal is lost
You may see me in this field panache!
I'm sorry for the bad language
Long time Droid Pro user who now has got a hold of a Droid RAZR XT912. I am trying to get it completely back to stock in order to flash it over to Pageplus. It IS a VZW XT912 was rooted and had safestrap 3.11 installed and I was running CM10.2 Spyder (very slick ROM). Anyhow I want to zero the phone back to stock and I don't have access to a windows machine that can RSD Lite back to stock so I am trying to use the Matt L Groff Batarang Droid RAZR script which is an amazing piece of work. So I put the XT912 into AP Fastboot and run the program in Linux and it does all the flash magic but it will not write the preinstall img or recovery img files...everything else works fine and the phone reboots into the radio programming screen and then reboots to a fresh install WITH superuser ROOT still intact. I did not install OTA Voodoo rootkeeper or any other root retention apk. Any ideas using the Linux script to flash the phone back to completely non rooted stock?
I tried to search all the message boards and threads but I can't find a specific solution....thank you for you time if anyone has any ideas? I downloaded the script twice and checked the MD5sums.
thanks in advance.
here is the script string

Your device will now reboot and install radio files, then fully boot normally.
