Help me! New microSD card faulty or not? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi!
I bought a brand new Sandisk microSD class10 for my S4.
I tried several format and test and it only shows 8.5mb/s in SD Tool (USB S4), 7mb/s in H2testw (USB S4),10.5mb/s with Crystaldisk (on PC) but 20mb/s in HD Tach (on PC)
So is my Class10 too slow for a class10 or it's normal?

[Q] USB Cardreaders

While I'm waiting for my Transformer+dock to be delivered, I'm looking to see if someone has experience using a USB cardreader on it.
I want to use my transformer to view pictures from my Sony camera (so it uses MemoryStick). So either I use the (bulky) proprietary camera USB cable or I use an external cardreader to access the Memorystick...
I suppose the internal cardreader in the dock doesn't support MS, right?
Any suggestions?
The eeePads card reader is micro SD and the docks card reader is full sized SD.. BUT here's an elegant suggestion to solve your problem... :
..I bought a 16Gb Class6 microSD card on amazon uk that came with a full sized SD adaptor & Sony memory stick adaptor bunled in
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0032CJIUG/ref=oss_product
.. so you put that card & memory stick adaptor in your Sony camera to take pix.. then when you're ready to view on the tablet, simply take the card out of its adaptor from the camera and put directly into the tablet (micro SD) or swap it into the full sized SD adaptor and read via the dock..
Nice!
Thanx for the tip.

[Q] USB transfer speed

I have purchased highly reccomended joyflash 16gb, its indeed fast 14MB/s write 20MB/s read..only problem is that when phone connected over USB as mass storage, transfer speed (writing) is only around 4 MB/s and reading is 14MB/s. Both from internal memory and external SD. Anyone idea why is that? Is that a limitation of Samsungs USB interface?
I did testing with SDtools on my device when testing speed of microSD, for transfer speeds over the USB cable i have used total commander

Recommendation for a FAST microSD USB reader

I currently have an elago II USB microSD card reader and even with a Samsung 32GB Class 10 card, the transfer rate when using this USB card reader is only 4-5 Mbps. I tested this on both PC and Mac.
The card itself is fast, I tested it using SD Tools and it gives 10 Mbps write and 20 Mbps read.
Anyone have recommendation on a fast USB card reader that is SMALL enough?

Sandisk 64gb Ultra SD Card Failure

Anybody have their's fail? I left mine plugged into my laptop last night via a Sandisk usb thumb card reader, and this morning it was not reading. Ended-up being able to copy files using a media card adapter, but the computer could not format it, nor was the phone able to read it.
I called Sandisk, and they're sending a replacement. This is my second Sandisk card failing on me.

Extremely slow USB file transfer to microSD from PC

Hi, today i bought a 128GB microSD card (Samsung Evo Plus) and detected properly by S3. However during file transfer from PC through explorer to MicroSD I got a miserable 100kB/s speed. Yes, it is kB not MB. The MicroSD card should write at max 90MB/s.
I used to get around 30MB/s when transfer to internal storage.
What could be the problem?
Internal transfer from Internal storage to MicroSD card is around 25MB/s
File copied is single movie file 8GB. USB setting is File Transfer.
Regards,
Thanks.
Erm, i am not sure what happened, i changed cable and still getting slow speed. After disconnected from USB cable for a while and do other things, and reconnect again, I am getting around the same speed as internal storage 32MB/s. Really have no idea why i am getting slow speed before this.
