I have been searching for a great note taking app to use in class. I found the Lenovo one is quiet interesting; however, it keeps showing me "not compatible with this device".
Here's where I download from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1598558
I'm currently running the nightly CM9, not the AOKP. Would it be the cause of the issue?
Hopefully someone here can help me to figure this out. Thanks.
If the Lenovo app doesn't work, take a look at Handrite in the PlayStore. I was looking for something like Penultimate to link with Evernote. Unfortunately, there is no Penultimate for Android yet, but you can connect Hand rite with Evernote.

This works fine running AOKP/CM9 Remix. Should work on CM9

When I try to watch YouTube videos, I get the error mentioned above after three or four tries it takes at loading the video. This occurs no matter what ROM I'm on, or what version of YouTube I use. Sometimes after I switch ROMs I get about 10 minutes of video playback, but then I get the error. Thank you!

I had this problem too and the cause was that HDMI out was enabled in Settings | Advanced.

I've got the same problem. Whenever I try to play a YouTube video (doesn't matter if it's on the YouTube app, or the website) I get the "Touch to retry" error. However it was running smoothly just a week ago. The only change I made was installing the Semaphore JB 2.9.8 kernel. Is it possible that the kernel has caused this problem? I'm running CM 10.1 on my Galaxy i9000.

Well the search didn't get me to the semaphore thread and the semaphore was only a guess, so there's no need to be mean.
Odp: There was a problem while playing. Touch to retry.
Well, you said you applied semaphore, what is te problem.to read its op then? If you would do so then you would not have that problem.

I updated my l9 to the official Indian jelly bean few days back and since then youtube app fails to play any videos over wifi. Wifi and internet otherwise works perfectly fine on the device. Even in the youtube app I can search, look up videos within my subscriptions fine , just can't play anything over wifi. I get the error - "problem while playing touch to retry". Works fine over 3G though.
I have rebooted the phone and wifi modem/router multiple times which didn't help. I also uninstalled all the updates for the youtube app still no help. Reinstalled the youtube updates still same problem
Has anyone else faced similar problem since updating to jelly bean?

Are you rooted? If yes, XDA will help, if no LG Service Center will help.

I haven't rooted my phone yet. The only reason I am reluctant to contact lg service center because I think they may not consider this as a phone/device problem. But I will try that eventually.
I feel if I could reinstall the youtube app it might help but then I'm not rooted and this app came pre-installed.
is there a way to remove pre-installed apps without rooting?

As I always say, XDA is not for lion-hearted people. Others should not even come here. I am not rough and tough user and take good care of my phone, therefore I dont care about LG's warranty and thats because I am here on XDA.
Even if anything happens to my phone in future, I will take it as bad-luck, but till then my phone will live life to the fullest.
You can update YT, if it shows Update button. Otherwise No, if not rooted.
Same problem here. Literally tried everything. I'm gonna root the phone tomorrow and try removing with Ti Backup and installing separately. Hope that works...

Anyone found a solution? I have literally tried everything from flashing numerous times to contacting LG 5 times, changing WiFi settings, etc.
However, for me YouTube works on ICS and CM10.1. But ICS is too old for me so I'm forced to be on 20A. Roms from other regions don't work too. So hopefully LG will release an update soon or CM gets stable.

Well if the YouTube app isn't working. I quick fix would be to install Adobe flash player and use naked Brower, dolphin Brower or other non stock Brower. And view the page in desktop mode (YouTube.com)
Use this link to get the latest flash player
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1848508
I just tried it and it worked fine with naked browser.

youtube is working again over wifi on my p765. I have been using the default router+modem(huwaei) provided by my ISP for last 7 years. Since it was an old model (54mbps, only b/g) I was planning to get a new one and finally I bought and configured the d-link 2750U and youtube started working again.
I still can't figure out what exactly made the difference because the old router was working perfectly fine all these years with various devices including my p765 before the jb update.
Anyways, alls well that ends well

So the router doesn't like jelly bean. We bought this router almost a year back. I think there's an old configuration which ICS and Cm are okay with but not stock jb. Thanks for updating.

So has it been like this from the beginning or it just happened? Have you tried it through a browser? Download flash player and try it that way. I'll try to upload mine when I get a chance.
You might not what to hear this, but try flashing a freshly download 20d, or flash the v21d

Hello -
I've been trying to flash available zips, but have not had any luck with this.
Has anyone been able to get Photosphere Camera working on Tab 10.1?
I am running latest CM10.1 Nightlies.
Thanks,
K
Mine works flawlessly on CM nightlies. I held on to the original gapps I installed at the beginning and when the artifacts were cleared from the camera shots, photosphere became better too. I have been using it since then.
Cheers.

My gapps is dated 20121212 and it is signed.
One thing I kept doing when camera, photoshpere and gallery were misbehaving at the beginning of the nightlies was to clear data for gallery. Before I posted this, I had to reconfirm that the photosphere was still functioning well. At first it crashed immediately I activated it. So I went to Apps in Settings and cleared data for Gallery and that solved the problem. You may wish to try that. By the way I am 24/05 nightly.
Cheers.

No joy. I tried clearing data and stuff as suggested, but photosphere closes after taking the first shot.
Have even tried re-installing CM10.1 with nothing else installed.
Any thoughts or other suggestions?
Thanks,
K
What nightly of CM 10.1 are running? That will play a significant role in the functionality of photosphere. There was a time it was not supported at all but later support was restored and has been okay since then, at least for me.

Thanks for the update and sorry, I was out of town and was not able to get to this post.
I have recently reset my tablet to bare minimum. I am currently running CM10.1 nightly 0606, and was just thinking about upgrading to 607 (607 is latest as of writing this).
As far as camera app, i am using 4.2Camera_t04.zip (i can't remember where I aquired this from). I DO NOT, at the moment, have gapps package installed.
I will be looking to install the 301 gapps with 607 nightly to see if it helps.
Thanks,
Khurram
Update:
I installed the latest nightly 607 and installed the 1212 gapps. Installed the camera zip mentioned earlier and tried photosphere. It opens, but after taking first picture, the camera crashes.
I tried clearing data for gallery app, but still crashes.
Investigation continues...
John -
Would you be able to share or point me towards the Photsphere camera app/zip you are using?
I'm pretty much out of ideas at this point.
Thanks,

I actually did not install any other camera app/zip, just the gapps. So reinstall the cm 10.1 and gapps after the necessary wipes, then wipe cache and dalvik after the installation. Run Photosphere and if it crashes, wipe data for gallery.
Hope this helps.

From what I have seen on videos and read on various blogs and from people using early AOSP builds, the new Google Search is significantly improved - most importantly in terms of speed, which has always been my biggest gripe with it. So earlier I pretended like I still had a nexus and tried to install the new apk from the factory image over the one we all have, and predictably, it opened but would FC every time I tried to run a search. Anybody else tried? anybody havE any thoughts on how we might be able to make it work?

Yeah, just need to change language then change back. Also make sure you have the latest Play Services version installed.

Still can't get it to work even with these steps. The launcher works fine, but it is a bit laggy
