This thread is for Paranoid Android ROM .. links below. I'm facilitating for now, not involved in the development.
Anyone here tried it? I'm on Wookie 4.1, waiting for BB8 to smooth out before I take the 4.2 plunge. Feel free to chip in.
Thoughts?

Pretty cool. I'll have to try this later today. Also it's cool to try the pie on a tablet for a first time . But I'm wondering, does this use namidairos device tree.

Hey, good to hear from Suomi :cyclops:
I have fond memories of Helsinki...my partner is from there. Yes I tried the slice 'o pie on my Nexus S, wasn't convinced. Maybe it's more useful on a tablet. Kindly share your experience if you give it a go.
Haha do you know any words anymore? And I might have a chance to flash in 30 minutes. Altrough I'll flash cm10.1 kernel after I'll flash this. As this isn't from xda. So I don't trust this 100%

Hmm I tried other links from diff. web sites and they all pointed to the same host and yes it's set to private. Hopefully the dev is tinkering with it, improving it .... I'll check back later and update if it goes live.
Did some digging, OP updated.

Switching between multiple users causes my prime to crash with the 4.2.2 build from Feb 13
The 4.2.2 build came February 15... but anyway. I just tried and my prime also crashed, and obviesly I didn't use any themes. Earlier when I tried multi user worked on cm10.1 :/
Edit: I went to settings and made a new user on my main user, the press the new user, unlock and set it up. And after that it won't crash
Edit2: nope switched between users few times and my prime crashed again

I don't know anything about this ROM specifically. I've built my own version of PA. I've been trying out pie and it's OK but it's nothing like having the nav bar down there. The nav bar is just so much easier and has more functionality than the pie controls. imho the tablet mode with PA is the way to go. It's much better than tablet mode with other ROMs like jellybeer. PA maintains the ability to customize the nav bar and status bar toggles while in tablet mode. Most other ROMs I've tried with tablet mode feature, when you are in tablet mode you lose any customization abilities.

I happen to be the builder of this particular ROM. Glad to see this getting some attention over here, as I'm not getting a lot of feedback over at rootz. The device tree is namidairo's with a couple of things removed to get PA to work. Any other questions/bugs, let me know. I can't release it here due to my low post count.

PAC man rom I like it because it has all the Mods of "paranoid android" "aokp" "cyanogen mod" all in one rom you don't have to switch back and forth sometimes you want something on cm but its only offered on paranoid or sometimes you want something from AOKP but its only on cm with this ROM you have all of them you won't get bored of it and it still in development so you'll be getting updates for it...cons I can't really find much everything works fine the newest build fixed all the problems I had before

This thread is dedicated to my CM11.0 builds that will be built whenever I get around to it which will be at least weekly.
When I build it, it's always synced to the latest CM source along with a few additional cherry picks that either add functionality or are bug fixes/improvements.
Note: GCC 4.8 seems to break ART. Don't use it unless you want to end up in a bootloop.

So no posts so far? I wonder if I should even continue posting these due to lack of interest. A lot of ATT users seem to be flashing the ul version. Yes it works on att but it throws off the stats as far as what version people use.
Anyway there will probably be a build tonight as I'm at work now. It will be worthwhile to upload this one as a few of the more annoying issues should be addressed in this one.

I think its probably like you said, most people just run the m7ul cm rom but you're right it does mess with the stats. To be honest I didn't know the att one had a separate forum until 2 weeks after I had the phone lol. I think all GSM ones should be combined and the CDMA should be separate.
I'm happy you're sharing your builds I will gladly run them. I'm a flasher so I usually take whatever is thrown at me just because I work in a cubicle at work (HP); It gets very boring...
Will report back after testing this

I've updated the build with some cherry-picks. It's late and I don't want to go into a list of my cherry picks. One thing my ROMs have featured so far is the MIUI style battery bar but I've added IR support from an open commit in Gerrit. Also, I've added some cherry picks for the proximity sensor. Let me know how that goes.

It's under settings->interface->status bar, and there under general there is an item called battery bar options. That's the one you want.

Because I'm only building ATT. I have that device and don't want to build twice. They builds are nearly the same and despite the minimal differences, I think is best for ATT users to flash the ATT version.

I just pushed several files in Arch Linux via MTP.
Are you using USB debugging? Try enabling it if it's off.
EDIT: works for me whether USB debugging is off or on.
Are you on Linux or Windows?
Debugging is on... When I first connected to my PC, it did show the mtp ftp option but my PC wouldn't show the files. When I would do a adb devices, nothing would come up if any of the two were checked off. If I unchecked them, adb would find my device. But now it doesn't show the mtp ftp option anymore. I'm on W7 right now but I dual with mint... Should I try mint instead?

Try mint. I don't know if it's a Windows 7 issue as I rarely boot into it. Arch works fine for me It's not Ubuntu based but it's own distro.
Mint doesn't see it at all...
Everything runs smooth as hell tho... I just wanted to transfer a couple of folders over to my phone...
For my faithful few, I apologize for not uploading more often but I myself was testing different ROMs. There is still something I prefer about CM though the latest Sense ROMs run awesome.
The main features of this latest build are:
1. Fix IR support (patchset 2 and 3 in review on CM's Gerrit break HTC IR support).
2. Include this change (adjusted to the m7 config file): http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/51095/ as well as http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/50898/ to help reduce stuttering over ad2p.
3. Updated proximity kernel patches to further improve proximity function. I haven't had any major issues so you'll have to let me know.
I tested Steve's huge patch that was abandoned (due to the numerous other patches I thought it may be more stable now) but it's still unstable and can cause frequent reboots (at least once per hour). Too bad as the smoothness seemed much improved with that patch.
Thanks, will flash it and test bluetooth a2dp.

I know we are still a community very young here in the G2 forums but I think some Ubuntu goodness would be good to have as a choice. The stable version just launched for the Nexus 4. I've no deving experience but it'd be cool if a dev could take a look and see if it's possible to do a port :fingers-crossed:
Not to burst the bubble but, at least on the N7, it's totally unstable, and unusable.
Doesn't mean development can't start. Get the groundwork in place so when the Ubuntu Touch source is more refined, then a full-fledged ROM won't be much far away.
More options is a good thing even if they have maturing to do.
Personally, I'm interested in seeing how the docking-as-a-desktop thing will perform considering the specs of this phone being so nice.

I was able to use it on my galaxy nexus just fine. Everything worked near flawlessly. Just couldn't make or receive phone calls or text but that's because I was on CDMA. From what I remember they have had several very stable builds on a few devices. Just no interest because of app development.
But my view on this is if its made available for more devices then eventually someone will pick up development of apps for it. The people that have say its very easy.

Ubuntu touch I'm new with...just been doing for last 2 days LOL. I have been in the Android scene for a while, though (@tsdeaton knows me from the good ol Photon).
I will say this...UT is not as simple as it seems. I've got issues with multiple things so far (pretty much, I have a nice, pretty UI with a semi-functioning camera and NO networking or sound so far), but am working at figuring out how they get this working on their native devices and hoping to reverse engineer what they did for the HTC One.
As far as their native builds, the N10 and N7 are greatly lagging behind the N4 and GNex in terms of stability. If you check out their current status of each build (I don't have a link, but a quick googling should find it), you'll get an idea of the daunting task ahead of anyone looking to make this work.

Compile was not too hard...I can get that far. It looks really nice when it boots, which took all of 12 seconds on first boot. I thought it had hung on a boot animation when I realized there was a status bar...LOL. It's pretty smooth and a VERY nice UI to be honest (and I don't really like ubuntu on the PC...I'm a Mint fan myself).
It's the part where they start talking about audio and writing Alsa UCM mixer files that I get a bit lost, as they have links to what SHOULD be reference material on HiFi and VoiceCall, yet both go to "Page does not exist" pages, thus leaving the builder on their own to figure it out.
Camera and wifi I should be able to fix. Phone, data, etc...I'm not sure that will work right without a LOT of work.

Uh on, time for another multi-rom set up!
I'm sorry. It really ticks me off to see no "features" page here. On Nexus devices, all the ROMs look exactly the same save for a few heavily modded ones. I really need to know what differentiates one ROM from another. Later before, I did visit Evervolv website to see "features" but I see that a lot of ROM makers cleaned everything up and started quite a bit from scratch. SO if somebody could point me in the right direction, big thanks to you

Amazing
Thanks buddy
I have been flashing a hell lot of roms and keeps coming back to Cataclysm. Rest all the features are same in almost every rom...This cata has an option of disabling power menu option while on secure lock. I wonder why no other Rom builder thinks of it as an essential feature for the security of phone. I know you can still get into Recovery with the combination of Power/Volume buttons but again it isnt letting them do it easily so disabling powermenu on secure lock is amazing feature which all of the new custom roms fail to have.
Hope you could integrate this request, rest the rom looks fine i am onto it now
Thanks again

I know you can still get into Recovery with the combination of Power/Volume buttons but again it isnt letting them do it easily so disabling powermenu on secure lock is amazing feature which all of the new custom roms fail to have.
Hope you could integrate this request, rest the rom looks fine i am onto it now
Thanks again
