Bug Reports:
Reporting bugs is important But reporting them properly is KEY.
If you think youve came across something that is not working as desired [bug] folow these steps to report.
1. RE-flash your rom cleanly and do not install gapps or restore anything. This will confirm the bug is in the rom and not a compatibility issue with your data or chosen gapps.
2. A logcat is very important for me to trouble shoot the bug ..
3 pull a logcat by connecting your device to the computer and open terminal then type adb logcat hit enter.
4 navigate to your bug and recreate it while connected and watch for a fatal exception.
5 copy the text apd use paste bin to share it with me.. after youve saved it copy the link and post it in the thread. Please ensure youve captured the fatal exception in the paste otherwise it will do no good.
same here
Looks nice! Downloading now.

If anyone experiences lag try using nova launcher... Google home is laggy and twitchy I just personally like it and it also includes the new walls.
Also speed up animation speeds in Dev settings til I get it updated in source...

Hi Droyd,
Yes, we all know about you striving for perfection
So a great thank you for this one...
I'll install it this very evening / night
One question though (do not mean to rush you or anything) but do you plan to release it for other devices ? If so, which ones ?
Regards.
NexusPenguin
Does this ROM have the problems of the other 4.4 roms? Like no compass in Google Maps, random bluetooth disconnects etc.

Never use Bluetooth and don't even know what or where the compass is so you'll have to try and see.. The compass thing is probably related to your gapps package tho..

Shouldn't have any of the nexus 5 port issues as its not a port. It's 4.4aosp based.

I believe it goes to the bootloader. Looking through some settings I found something to do with the s3 and Samsung phones have download mode which Odin uses. Not should if it will take you to the bootloader screen if you push it though

Finally got around to flashing this and I like it alot . I really like the dark look. Surprised more people aren't commenting in here. Everyone flash this ROM its sweet. Very snappy.
Re: [ROM][unofficial][jewel[BAKED][BLACKBEAN-6]11/18/12
Thanks swiper!
I really liked the look of this Rom. I couldn't figure out how to re map the hardware keys. With no menu button, I can't use a dd. Did I miss it, or is it still being worked out?

Just use the on screen nav bar the menu button works on it some ROMs it doesn't on this one it does I just completely disabled all my hardware keys. disable the lights with kernel tuner gives me a straight aosp nexus feel also I lowered the DPI slightly too 300 to make up for the on screen Nav bar
Re: [ROM][unofficial][jewel[BAKED][BLACKBEAN-6]11/18/12
Thanks for the suggestion. I never tried using a nav bar. Seems unnecessary with hardware buttons. You prefer it or just use it as a work around?

I've heard people say this ROM has no rotation glitch. Is this true?
Also, what is the customisation, battery life and general speed like?
Last question, will this ROM be receiving updates in the future? I'm currently using ResurrectionRemix but I'm tempted to make the switch

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by scott.hart.bti. The OP is from scott.hart.bti per his instructions for ports. The first few post will be his stuff and mine will follow after that. This is a build composed off of the CM builds and scott.hart.bi has added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with scott.hart.bti's current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
scott.hart.bti plans on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

Yes I noticed that some of the themes that work with Carbon and Dirty Unicorn aren't comparable. This is nice though, has all the costomization that I remembered from older builds.
The only issue so far is a fault that came up twice since I loaded that says " unfortunately external storage has stopped ".

Those themes are probably built for the new theme engine and I know there are some people working on getting that brought into BeanStalk. Also with the external storage I'm not sure, I actually dont have an sd card in mine. I will get one this weekend and see if I get the error and if so will see what I can do to fix it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Even though I got the faults, I can access the external SD card with no issues at all.

Downloading the ROM now. I have experienced that most of the CM based ROMs have issues with in-call sound in my N-5100. Hope this time the issue is resolved.
Uploading a new build for 5110 that is built with Moretz kernel. I will build it for 5100 and 5120 as well in due time.

Great performance. I'm scoring over 29,000 on Antutu. Very smooth so far. I was just talking about a Dev doing this and I'm so happy that you took the time to incorporate a kernel that has over clock ability built into the rom.

Does it have the no sound in call bug?
Hi - always loved the Beanstalk on my other devices but as an owner of a 5100 I need the call facility to work. So far I haven't come across anything other than stock-based that will make calls OK. Has anybody tried it with a 5100?
Great work in any case!
