Hi - Please excuse me if this is not the appropriate subforum for this post. I have an app I created on AppsGeyser that gets a lot of traffic (~1000 downloads a day) but I want to upload a new version of it that I created with MIT App Inventor. Google Play doesn't like that and gives me multiple errors saying the package name isn't the same and the fingerprints are different. Is there even a way to accomplish this?
Thanks a lot

Hi guys,
not knowing where to post this request I put it here. If it's not the right place, I'm sorry.
I'm a blogger and the admin of the blog have created a shortcode that can get a lot of information from the app ID: icon, title, etc. It's really useful because it makes the filling of the box review we use faster.
Unfortunally this works only for the iPhone app because it uses the xml file.
Is there an xml file (like the one for the iPhone) we can use to do the same thing with the applications of Market? or will I, who am the only one to review apps for Android, have to complete the box manually?
I'm really sorry for my bad English but I have some problem explaining this technical issue
Similar to what we had for the SGS I/II, I would like to have a comprehensive APK List for what we can delete safely and what we need to leave on.
Here is the link:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AthriV78mnxQdE1lVzJOaE8tdmlJc1VjcUFydGhlc2c
It is shared, so we can edit to our needs.
You mean like this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1634624
yep! ty!
Very good post mate and i totally agree when root is available many of us wil want to freeze the bloatware to get even batter battery life it would be great to have a spreadhseet to know what programs are safe to freeze (or remove but ill just freeze them in case)
Bumping this thread this needs to be made a sticky mods like the similar one on the SGSII forums.
Great idea OP, but your Google docs spreadsheet does not seem to be shared properly--it says I have to request access to the file .

It now says it doesn't exist
Spreadsheet loads just fine here, I'm going to bookmark that for future reference, thanks!

Re:
thanks dude, your answer solved my first question but i have not received my other questions answer ! let me explain it more clearly :
i have sent my "aquarium.apk" file from this address : "C:\Users\arman\workspace\aquarium\bin" to my tablet to see what i had developed but it has been like this in my tablet (image in attachment), i want to know how to make only one item with icon for my app when it is installed on device.
Look into the AndroidManifest.xml.
I there, you marked the second activity too with the intent-filter "LAUCHER".
For you second activity, just remove the intent-filter block.

Hello!
Can anyone upload Switch To Windows Phone *.apk here? I want to switch, but this app isn't available in my country and I don't know why.
There it is: here
You should try Google it yourselft first. There is no link to APK in Google yet, all pages links only to Google Play.

The irony of this ^ jerk's response is that googling it, brings you to this very forum thread.
I have very little respect for people who tell others to "Google it", on forums that are popular enough to become part of the Google results themselves. Sure, you perhaps cause that one single OP to do a bit more independent research the next time around, but you waste the time of hundreds of subsequent readers that land on your valueless comment AS THE RESULT OF DOING THEIR OWN RESEARCH.
Anyone have the APK?
I know you guys can download it from google play, but when I try it says 'This item cannot be installed in your device's country.' I get that a lot.
Usually I search APP apk and get it, but for this app everyone seems to be pointing to google play and that doesn't help me.
So If anyone knows a direct download for the APK please post it here thankyou.
Here you go
Hi,
I'm sure that it's probably due to the election but lately I've been getting unwanted call's from #'s that I don't recognize. There are so many call blocking app's on the play store that at least for me it's rather mind boggling to even look in there. I did perform a search here in the forum's and didn't seem to discover any real recent application's. I did find this one that's open source & seems to be updated pretty regularly: https://f-droid.org/packages/dummydomain.yetanothercallblocker/ . If anyone knows of any other app. that is worth considering please post it here in the forum's. I'm currently using this app that I did get in the play store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mglab.scm&hl=en_US&gl=US .
Thanks In Advance For Any Suggestion's !
