Hey all, I have a Sprint Note 3 (SM-N900P) , I successfully rooted using the odin method and downloaded TWRP but it kept telling me there were no recoveries for my device. My problem: I unrooted with the SU app and did a factory reset but when I check for updates it says my device has been modified and updates are not available, am I SOL or is there a fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sooo, pretty self explanitory, I rooted my Galaxy S4, got some OTA update, which unrooted me. I tried to do the Motochopper method again by downgrading my build number but now ODEN won't do it. My current build number is JDQ39.I545VRUAME7. ROM manager still thinks CWM is installed but I can't boot into it. Any tips on what I should do?
Wait until you are able to fully root again.

So, I had tryed to install at root and flash a Rom onto my Samsung Galaxy s4 i337 using MF3. I was running Android 4.2.2 and when I had tried to unroot my device, something happened and I wasn't able to FULLY get the root off my device. A couple days ago, I had wanted to upgrade to the Android KitKat 4.4 so when I completed the process. It went into Download mode, and then just crashed. Right now it shows an error message saying
"System software not authorized by AT&T has been found on my phone. Please turn off your phone and go to the nearest AT&T store for help."
Also in the top left hand corner it says Secure fail:Kernel so obviously it means I am missing a Kernel of some sort.
Please help me!
How were you trying to upgrade - via OTA? So you have not successfully flashed 4.3 or 4.4.2 through Odin, correct? But you should be able to find everything you need here:

There's a couple different ways to go depending on if you are trying to save your bootloader to be able to downgrade again easier, if wanted, or not.
Hi guys,
I rooted my phone a month ago using Kingo Root, it works fine. So I un-rooted now and restarted the phone and it says "custom" when I go to Settings - Status, etc.. I factory reset the phone and it still says custom! weird.
I don't know why this is happening, when I had an S4 and used Kingo Root to root it says custom but upon un-rooting the phone returned to Normal.
Does anyone have a stock recovery img to flash? or a way to solve this? I would like to be able to check for updates.
I have the C101 International version.
Thanks
Have you tried installing a stock ROM with Odin software? It should resolve the problem! have you tried it?
I was trying to update my Verizon Note 2 (SCH-i605) from 4.1.1 to KitKat. Unfortunately, my boot loader was locked and now all I get is a 'System software not authorized by Verizon...' screen at boot. I've try several tutorials using Odin to restore stock but nothing works. Has anyone else had trouble doing this? Is my phone permanently bricked?
can you get the phone in download mode?
also what did you do to get where you are now, we need some more details in order to help.
I got it back up and running. I got into the predicament in the first place by not unlocking my bootloader. I was trying to flash back to stock with a rooted version. When I used the unrooted, it worked fine.
