Hello. I have Samsung galaxy s2 and i failed to upgrade jellybean. and i want to reinstall firmware 4.1.2 on s2. i watched a thread but was for S4 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2430466 . just same problem. please help. thanks

For me kies is still to buggy!
Just download the filmware for your region from here

or samfilmware.com. Then you can fash it with odin. Also the bonus of not having carrier bloatware pre-installed

I need help in restoring my samsung galaxy s2 to stock
it is from Germany unbranded and i need to bring it back to stock OS ROM so that it can get software updates from KIES in future as i am giving this phone to someone with now flashing knowledge
tried flashing many files from samfirmware.com and XDA guides but everytime i connect it to KIES it says "This version of the device cannot be updated"

Never mind guys.....after so much translation found this on German thread and as soon as i installed this, Kies showed me an update
I have got a I9100 S2 which i brought from a friend. When ever i try to update it in kies it says its not supported for upgrading? I know he's put some random firmware on it but i don't know what kind.
Any help would be appreciated.

Check www.sammobile.com they will have your stock firmware and guides how to upload using odin.
Hello. I am new here so I will ask maybe a noob question. I bought a Galaxy S3 and then I downloaded the official Jelly Bean from samfirmwares for my country (Slovakia). I rooted it but it seemed a little laggy sometimes so I searched for it and I found out that almost everyone's S3 after update is lagging but if you do firmware initialization and upgrade trough Kies it will fix it. So i connected to Kies but it says that my device is unsupported. It might be because I was rooted so I did a factory reset and flashed again the official version from samfirmwares but Kies still says that my device is unsupported. When I go to download mode it says that it is samsung official but current version is custom although I didn't root. Any tips how can I get my device to work with Kies? Thanks for any tips

If you rooted your device before, it'll remember that in Odin mode.
Buy the mobile Odin app from Chainfire (requires root), use that to reset the counter. Then Kies should be able to update your firmware

Get the latest odin flashable firmwares for your country from this thread..

or from manorajan's own website, u can grasp it from the above thread itself..
Then flash through odin after entering download mode..
Follow the instructions for flashing through odin..

Hello, my phone is Samsung Galaxy V. It is stuck in firmware upgrade encounter an issue screen. I tried flashing an Original copy of its firmware and I also tried using kies to fix it. But it still doesnt work. Please help. This phone is really important to me.
