Hello, my phone is Samsung Galaxy V. It is stuck in firmware upgrade encounter an issue screen. I tried flashing an Original copy of its firmware and I also tried using kies to fix it. But it still doesnt work. Please help. This phone is really important to me.

What problem do you have? My version is KB1 and when I connect it to Kies it says that I have the newest version. But it is fairly outdated...
But whats bothering me is that when I go to "firmware update settings" there are no devices listed under "Auto-download firmware for:".
Do you have same problem? Is there any way to update through Kies?

I need help in restoring my samsung galaxy s2 to stock
it is from Germany unbranded and i need to bring it back to stock OS ROM so that it can get software updates from KIES in future as i am giving this phone to someone with now flashing knowledge
tried flashing many files from samfirmware.com and XDA guides but everytime i connect it to KIES it says "This version of the device cannot be updated"
please help me in bringing galaxy s2 to german stock

Never mind guys.....after so much translation found this on German thread and as soon as i installed this, Kies showed me an update

i spendet more than 4 hours to find any solution why my galaxy gio wont upgrade to stock firmware 2.3.6 via odin
i took the firmware upgrade file from sammobile and folloved exactly the describet procedure but it wont work after trying 4 or 5 times

For me kies is still to buggy!
Just download the filmware for your region from here

or samfilmware.com. Then you can fash it with odin. Also the bonus of not having carrier bloatware pre-installed

A friend of mine has sent me from Korea a Samsung Galaxy S2. Model Shw-m250s
I tried to upgrade it to android 4.1.2 jb..but i used a wrong firmware (i'm italian..and i used a firmware for italian s2, what a mistake!)
now my s2 is bricked..and whatever i do it appears a screen in which is only written "UPGRADE"
but if I press Volume Down+On/Off Button+Menu Button and then volume up
it goes to Downloading Mode
It means that if i find the correct firmware i can resurrect my s2.. please can anybody tell me where i can download it..or tell me what can i do to keep this s2 in function again?

Get the firmware from Samfirmware, flash it with Odin; instructions/guides on how to do this easily found by searching.
Same problem with mw
