Good day everyone!
Certified noob here..
I have a SGA2 here in RP, recently updated to XXMC8 and then rooted after a couple of days following advices from excellent members here in XDA.
Later on, I found my phone laggy and cannot run on games like TR2 well.
Just have a few questions to ask. Please take it easy on me, a newbie needing help guys..
1. After updating from GB to JB, my unit decreased her RAM size to 482.
a. Why is that so?
b. Can I change it back to size?
c. If not, how can I speed up my phone again?
I have removed quite a few bloatwares, frozen a couple of apps and do task killing frequently but still my phone performed slower. What do I do now?
Thanks in advance for the responses!
Can someone help me with the implementation of undervolt in the source of a custom kernel for my Galaxy Ace II X (GT-S7560M)? I've searched everywhere, but I'm unable to find any actual help. Thanks, it would really appreciated!
root without sd card

Hi, I want to root and flash with the best available rom for ace 2x. I try to follow the instruction in ace 2 x root kit but I don't have the sd card. Can I do it without sd card? like using odin to install the CWM-Superuser_1.0.1.7.zip. Thanks. And keep up the good work.
The file for controlling frequencies / default voltages in most kernels is located at
Code:
/arch/arm/mach-msm/acpuclock-8960.c
Do be careful while adjusting these! Keep in mind that not all devices can undervolt the same amount before bringing these down to the extremes.
Hello friends concedores Android ! I'm new around here and also in the android platform , so for the moment not much but I hope to acquire knowledge and to delve more in this great platform that every time I try I like more and more, the fact is that I bought my first Alcatel Android one 4007x Pixi has a ARM Cortex -A9 processor at 1GHz and 256MB RAM , it came with Android 2.3.6 .
I have already rooteado and I really liked it because the root provides more privileges , the case for which I post here today is that a few days after you buy it and has little internal storage memory memory increase you decided through a with sd memory partition , so good! Now I have more applications than before, and because of this I demand more so quize also do a swap partition for virtual memory help to unfold and carge it all by itself , and the problem with this is that eh tried several methods to finally realize that the kernel does not support swap partitions ( large desepcion ) ...
So I ask you experts to help me , there is little information on this cel because it is new but hopefully just find something around here , I know that kernel rotted I recommend and what put them , because the truth which we would not be compatible because not if it depends on the version of android or baseband version as seen in some forums eh have mentioned , then I need your knowledge and wisdom to resolve this and to improve phone performance .
Thanks and sorry for writing so much detail it quize well to clarify any doubts regarding the problem or request

Hi, where did you get the drivers to have the phone communicate with the PC (i'm using windows 8), would appreciate if you could reply as soon as possible.
thanks.
Hi all experts,
a friend of mine bought a Samsung S5 clone which resulted to be an ALPS GT-I9600.
These are the specs as reported by CPU-Z:
Display: JDQ39.I9600ZSUAMDF
hardware: mt6572;
kernel version: 3.4.5 (eng . linux . 1398851142);
Screen resolution in pixel: 480 x 854
Total RAM: 1857 MB
Internal Storage: 0.14 GB (sic!)
Available RAM: 47 MB (2%)
Now, the problems... please guide me on how to solve them thanks a lot:
1) There are some problems with the internet connection (3G) with some operators... I guess this is a common problem and I read something about IMEI overwrite, but did not understand a lot... can anyone explain me a bit the procedure? Why is it necessary?
2) The device has really few available memory, therefore it is not possible to install anything due to shortage of memory... it seems also that the "Move to SD" option for all the apps installed is disabled by default. How can we free some space?
I'd love to find an alternative ROM without bloatware and maybe root.... but any alternative is welcome anyway. Can I install any ROM intended for phones which have identical specs? Where should I search for these?
Thanks for your support guys, I'm waiting for your suggestions
Got the same problem
I have the same problem, plz someone answer these questions. I am planning to downgrade the os from KitKat to Jelly bean. How can I do it and is it safe?

+PLEASE PLEASE dont do anything funny with that phone i am an o in this.It has costed me two phones firstly it took me 6 hours just to root that phonei used vroot 1.7.8 the only way to get it is to let your older version update itself (i did not find any standalone of this)If you end there and reboot it it unroots itself (shuame failed to root this phone)....Then you need to install supersu.apk to fully root your phone now it can be detected by mtk droid tools as root shell
I used different versions of mtk droid tools and i got totally different results (weird) in earlier version of mtk droid tools i only got around 320mb of backup (everything included system.img,boot,recovery,secro..etc).This one could only make files for flashool excluding system.img.
On mtk droid tools 2.5.3 i got a bigger recovery around 1.2gig of raw data that included system.ubifs.img (291mb) nodl_system.bin (302mb) and system.ubifs.tar (302mb) and all the other stuff.......This one gives me an md5 error when trying to create files for flashtool
everything is messed up
This phone has close to no free rom only around 500kb .Also the actual ram is not 2gig its 224mb and the processor is actual dual core which had a maximum of 1ghz on the second core but the first one is1.6ghz
it got caught up in a bootloop when i tried to move all the system files to an sdcard using mounts2sd(such a great program) but the problem arised when my sd cardsecond partition got erased by mistake
My advice please dont mess with this phone
AND LASTLY PLEASE MAY YOU SEND ME YOUR BACKUP I WANT TO REVIVE MY PHONE....IYou can email me the backup on [email protected] or [email protected] YOU WAITING FOR YOU RESPONSE GUYS
I am sorry for you guys, but next time I suggest you to hold the hype and get some information before buying a unknown generic clone (as you can see all the troubles you are having...).
Long story short sell that piece of crap and buy a HDC Galaxy S5 Legend if you can.

The phone is no good to install apps, games,
If seller given real spec of this phone and yet if you have made purchase then its your choice,
If seller misled you by saying 2GB RAM/16GB rom etc then If you buy this paying high price and hoping to get nice performing clone of s5, then forget it, ask for refund.
This is just dual core, slow phone.
can be used just to read small e-book and browse net and some time the page also hangs.
Voice call seem to be working Ok but not used much.
i have a problem with alps gt-i9600

SystemUI.apk
Hi,
Please find a version of SystemUI.apk attached
Caveat: be careful about potential malware that could be in this APK. I just retrieved the pre-installed APK without any checks. I provide it without any guarantee.

My clone samsung is the same.
Is there anybody to send me the factory rom?
The version of the rom is not important; I just want to unbrick my phone.
Would be happy to send the ROM and factory image to you but, I don't have a recovery program on gt-i9600 and don't know where to get one. To the person who wants to root your gt-i9600 you can try installing KingRoot.apk and if that doesn't work message me.
