I just get google now to work when I got my GS4 out of the box ! after 1st update it says not available in TUnisia ! Even when am switched to htc one it still the same ! I know it's not supported in all countries but it used to work just fine is there any hack or trick to use google now in all countries ? My phone language is English US , I even tried some location fake apps with no luck !

Well, if SKYPE is not supported in CHINA, even if you get it installed anyhow, it will not work. Services will be restricted by the government there.
By the way, you can follow the following steps to get SKYPE working there.
1. In your live account change the country to any other country, like US. This should do the trick. If it does not work proceed to step 2.
2. Change your phone LOCALE, COUNTRY and TIME ZONE. restart the phone. This should work.
If not, contact your admin or ISP.

I got in hands a Samsung SCH-I939D in China (where I live). Of course the Android version in it is a chinese Android with all kind of app sI don't want, no market, no google apps ect...
I looked on the forum for some info about this phone but the search engine didn't give me any relevant result.
Main question : Is it possible to find any custom Rom or at least non chinese rom possible to install on this phone?
Second question : Has anyone tried to hack this phone and is it possible to install google apps, root the phone or anything?
I have some intermediate knowledge about android (rooted, installed custom roms, unlocked... several android phones)

I have samsung galaxy S3 duos (SCH I939D) , It is not launched in India. samsung has made it for China & Russia. Mine is fron China. The problen with the phone is that PLAY STORE is not running and phone is not receiving 3G network. And even there is not any option to change network mode to WCDMA. Can rooting or flashing solve my problem ?
And also somethings are in chinese language which cant be removed or deleted by me. As there are not any option to delete those chinese things. Can I delete them also. The OS of my mobile can be changed to English version ?

Hi can any one help just got this phone and did not know it was Chinese version. Is there any way I can change it in to European version or near as. Every thing is in Chinese and I don't seem to be able to install google or firefox unless its in Chinese. I have changed language to English and have key pad in English. But it wont let me download google firefox to install. Any help would be well and truly appreciated .
Look around in this forum and you can find ways to rebrand this phone to European or whatever.
