I'm talking about recovery.

JB versions above 4.1.2 use this new path, better get used to it

If it is in philz recovery I believe in the settings. Either advanced or the philz settings you will see an option to change the location. Tell me if you find it. CMW... well no one really uses it as much but the change in file structure shouldn't change.

I suppose that you wish to root your device via fake recovery method, is it right? It is the best method in my opinion, but let me ask a stupid question, have you got at all an external memory card (micro SD) inserted into the phone?

Yeah but it won't mount it says error I've rooted before with an s+ I can't get into either the external or internal sd cards, weird. There isn't even an option to open internal card.

Why do you need to do that? This fone already has such a "HUGE" internal memory........There are only a few apps that should be stored in internal memory and you can do that manually.

Back up ur apps and data. Format your sd card and make a partition from cwm....you need an ext2,3,4 to work with link 2sd. Your one partition would be fat32 and another an ext partition.

If you are rooted. It will work with anything (stock or custom). I would recommend Ext2 or 3. Make a partition with cwm.

eh, u did read the info i gave about sd-ext?
ext2 doesn't include journalling so boot up time is slow...for more see the link in my signature!
NOTE: With any kind of partition ext2/3/4, the loading time will increase as apps are being loaded from sd card which is slower than internal memory!
But i cant make ext3 mount script iy shows invalid arguement anyone have a solution for this

You need to have ext3 partition which can you get by cwm. But backup sd card before partitoning.
Sent from my GT-S5830i using xda app-developers app
I have done that and then created ext3 mount script on link2sd and error showed in simplicity v5 is there any rom problem????

No, it will not delete your backup. It only wipe /data partition. It will not affect your storage.

Yes if you have an external than put a nandroid on that and format the data on your internal in twrp.

Yup just make sure you make a backup in twrp of what you're on now (called a nandroid) just in case the flash messes up somehow. And of course, before you format the internal sd, make sure your nandroid and the rom you want to flash are on your external sd.
