this all really depends on gapps you flash i believe...any slim or ciut down gapps may not have it...best thing to do on any rom is download and install google keyboard...this definitely has it....i can tell you talon 1.0 has it for sure...just be sure to flash funky kernel 4.1 for aosp after instal
You just have to turn it on with the stock 4.3 keyboard.

I flashed CM7 on my ATT S2 a couple of months ago and everything is normal in general. This morning I suddenly found the phone is stuck in the CM7 boot screen and won't go anywhere past it. I did not do anything to the phone before that happened. I removed and re-attach the battery. And even wiped cache in CWM. But nothing worked so far. What should I do? Thanks!!
Try to reflash it. Get ready for some flames.

Try wiping data (obviously you'll lose your data).
If that doesn't work, reflash CyanogenMod, or whatever rom you want.
Re-flash CM7 on top of it without wiping first, if that doesn't work then a wipe is probably the next step.

I had the same problem on my Captivate once, and data wipe is the only thing that fixed it.

No need to factory reset before flashing ROM if coming from a different ROM?
Please clarify.
Thanx

Yes, if coming from a different ROM, always best to clean install. I'd go so far as to use Mr. Cook's ROM wipe, but a factory reset at a minimum.
Is this ROM stable? Is there any issue known? Thanks in advance

Could just be a bad flash. But I tried it twice. The internal sd card does not show up after flash. The rom looks great other then that.

What recovery are u using? Twrp 2.7.1.1, the newest one, was giving me problems while flashing stock roms. I had to use the one before 2.7.1.1. I was getting dialer fc's and bootloops. Try the other one.

You know of any place I can get the older one?
EDIT: Nevermind found one testing.
DOUBLE EDIT: That worked... Man THANK YOU!!! I never would have thought to change my recovery...
Glad it worked out for you.
So I went and restored my phone but it seems to be stuck on the optimizing apps/starting apps screen and won't go anywhere else? Anyway I can fix this? I've tried to flash a boost mobile (my carrier) stock rom but I get the same problem.

Which ROM/Kernel are you using? You can get better help if you post in that forum. If you're using stock rom, make sure you're flashing it in the right way, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e-2015/general/stocks-firmwares-moto-e-t3113235 for instructions.

@gameSTICKER has a good point. In addition, have you updated your partitions to the respective version of the ROM you are flashing? Out of curiosity, which build and version stock ROM have you flashed to your xt1526, are you using a custom recovery and, if so, what version?
