HTC Jetstream Video HOWTO Series (1 of 3)
1. [GUIDE] [VIDEO] Unlock Your Bootloader
2. [GUIDE] [VIDEO] Flash Custom Recovery
3. [GUIDE] [VIDEO] Install a ROM
There are many guides to unlocking the bootloader on your HTC device, but few use video. I felt that seeing it done would be a big confidence boost to those of you trying it for the first time.
Unlocking your bootloader is the first step in liberating your Jetstream from the limited out of the box capabilities it has. It will allow you to flash a custom recovery which will give you control over the various partitions on your device.
The following is a link to my (Vimeo hosted) video guide on unlocking your bootloader.

Note that at 03:44 it claims that you need the Android SDK for > adb, but in fact it is not used.
Hardware Requirements
HTC Jetstream* (Bootloader locked, which is the default.)
Micro USB to full USB cable
A computer (I used Linux, but you can easily translate to Windows or Mac.)
* Should work with all HTC devices.
Software Requirements
HTC Dev access (Signup using email.)
fastboot (Downloadable from HTC Dev.)
Remember that holding the power button and volume down button for a few seconds will power off your device. Doing the same from power off will launch the bootloader.
Happy unlocking!

HTC Jetstream Video HOWTO Series (2 of 3)
1. [GUIDE] [VIDEO] Unlock Your Bootloader
2. [GUIDE] [VIDEO] Flash Custom Recovery
3. [GUIDE] [VIDEO] Install a ROM
The above image is an older version of TeamWin Recovery Project.
There are many guides to flashing a custom recovery on your HTC device, but few use video. I felt that seeing it done would be a big confidence boost to those of you trying it for the first time.
Flashing a custom recovery is the second step in liberating your Jetstream from the limited out of the box capabilities it has. It gives you control over the various other partitions on your device, most notably the /boot and /system partitions.
The following is a link to my (Vimeo hosted) video guide on flashing a custom recovery.

Hardware Requirements
HTC Jetstream (Bootloader unlocked.)
Micro USB to full USB cable
A computer (I used Linux, but you can easily translate to Windows or Mac.)
Software Requirements
fastboot (Downloadable from HTC Dev.)
A custom recovery image (I used TWRP 2.4 from here and mirrored as an attachment.)
Remember that holding the power button and volume down button for a few seconds will power off your device. Doing the same from power off will launch the bootloader.
Happy flashing!
Sweet!
Nice Work, Thanks!
Hello Guys and welcome to my tutorial . I'm gonna show you how to root your Samsung Galaxy Star 2 without flashing any roms.
There is two methods of rooting your SGS2

2-Through your mobile itself
Tools
1-USB Cable "If you are gonna use PC method"
2-Root Master for windows "Download" If you are gonna use PC method"
3-If you are gonna root ur mobile without pc download root master apk from here
Steps "PC":
1-Connect your mobile to your PC
2-enable USB Debugging from Developers options
3-Launch Root master
4-Root Master will check your phone
5-Click Root
Congratulations you have just Rooted your phone
Steps "Mobile":

After your phone is recognized on the interface, please click "Start" to start rooting your phone.
1. It may take minutes to finish rooting. The different phone will lead to the different duration of rooting process.
2. When rooting successfully, your phone will reboot.
After seconds or minutes, you phone will be successfully rooted.
After rooting, you will get the root permission of your phone and use SuperUser to manage your phone. Now you are able to use more hidden features, uninstall unnecessary preinstalled apps, flash a custom ROM, optimize your system, etc. In a word, you will begin to completely master and enjoy your phone.
Thanks for the guide to root android device.
it did not work thru "root master apk", it says the phone is too strong.
Hi guys!
Thanks for having me.
I'm looking for an APP or method that will power on my Rooted S8 when power is applied to the charge port.
Can anyone help or suggest?
I am using my S8 as a data interface to the computer in my car and want the phone to AUTOMATICALLY turn on & off when the car does.
I have successfully rooted my S8 via TWRP and loaded Magisk, am running Noughat/9.0
Any suggestions or help very much appreciated.
**NOTE: S8 doesn't run a boot loader I believe so that hack wont work on my phone **

Hi....Universal Android Root is another application accessible for Android gadgets that allows you to root your gadget without a PC. In contrast to Methods 1 and 2, the application isn't unreasonably well known and it probably won't work with some Android gadgets. That being said, if Methods 1 and 2 didn't work with your Android gadget, maybe this one will.
As the application is old, it should work with more seasoned Android gadgets and firmware forms. Like Framaroot, this application likewise includes an underlying alternative for unrooting your gadget. The application can establish upheld Android gadgets in five to seven seconds.

Hello everyone, a week ago I received my Mi 11 Lite 5G and the first thing I did was unlock the bootloader. Today I managed to unlock it and tried to install a custom ROM (xiaomi.eu). However, I had a problem that made the operation impossible. I forgot to activate the option "install via USB" thinking that this one was not important, obviously I underestimated it. My question is: do you have any solution to reinstall the basic ROM (there isn't system currently), or activate this option other than in the phone (in fastboot with adb for example...), regardless of the method, I hope there is at least one.
Awaiting a positive response (I hope), greetings and I wish you all a merry Christmas.
This option doesn't really matter, if your bootloader is unlocked (as in there is a undone lock icon every boot above the Mi logo) just go into fastboot by shutting the phone off forcefully, then holding down Power + Volume Down until you see the Fastboot Screen as shown below

}
Then after that, check device manager in Windows to see if your device is being seen as "Android Bootloader Interface", if it is. Then you're good to go! Download the latest Xiaomi.eu ROM for Renoir then unzip it, then run the batch script for your case. You will lose all of the data on your phone's internal storage when installing though. So beware and be sure to make backups!
