There are many guides to flashing a custom recovery on your HTC device, but few use video. I felt that seeing it done would be a big confidence boost to those of you trying it for the first time.
Flashing a custom recovery is the second step in liberating your Jetstream from the limited out of the box capabilities it has. It gives you control over the various other partitions on your device, most notably the /boot and /system partitions.
The following is a link to my (Vimeo hosted) video guide on flashing a custom recovery.
★★★ vimeo.com/finniest/htcjetstream-flashrecovery ★★★
Hardware Requirements
HTC Jetstream (Bootloader unlocked.)
Micro USB to full USB cable
A computer (I used Linux, but you can easily translate to Windows or Mac.)
Software Requirements
fastboot (Downloadable from HTC Dev.)
A custom recovery image (I used TWRP 2.4 from here and mirrored as an attachment.)
Remember that holding the power button and volume down button for a few seconds will power off your device. Doing the same from power off will launch the bootloader.
Happy flashing!

Sweet!
Nice Work, Thanks!

Update application Eye camera experience

Hey guys I'm trying to install the android Camera 4.4.4 (update Eye experience) on my AT&T HTC One M8 (4.4.2)... But when I go in recovery mode and select Recovery, simply displays a red exclamation me no option at all. After a while my phone back to normal. What happened? I've never done anything like it, just have unlocked Bootloader and S-OFF.
Is as in the following picture: I can not options to follow the steps.
I would post the link ttorial that I'm following, but the site does not allow here because I am newbie ... but is very similar to what I saw you doing to exchange the ROM.

That's the factory recovery. You need to install a custom recovery, like TWRP, philz, or CWM.

Question (solved) Cannot install a custom ROM

Hello everyone, a week ago I received my Mi 11 Lite 5G and the first thing I did was unlock the bootloader. Today I managed to unlock it and tried to install a custom ROM (xiaomi.eu). However, I had a problem that made the operation impossible. I forgot to activate the option "install via USB" thinking that this one was not important, obviously I underestimated it. My question is: do you have any solution to reinstall the basic ROM (there isn't system currently), or activate this option other than in the phone (in fastboot with adb for example...), regardless of the method, I hope there is at least one.
Awaiting a positive response (I hope), greetings and I wish you all a merry Christmas.
This option doesn't really matter, if your bootloader is unlocked (as in there is a undone lock icon every boot above the Mi logo) just go into fastboot by shutting the phone off forcefully, then holding down Power + Volume Down until you see the Fastboot Screen as shown below
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then after that, check device manager in Windows to see if your device is being seen as "Android Bootloader Interface", if it is. Then you're good to go! Download the latest Xiaomi.eu ROM for Renoir then unzip it, then run the batch script for your case. You will lose all of the data on your phone's internal storage when installing though. So beware and be sure to make backups!

Problem with installing ROM via TWRP (A/B device)

I have problem with installing new ROM on phone Xiaomi MIX4 with A/B Partition file system. I followed this tutorial: https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-install-twrp/
Before I started my trying to update my system, my phone was running this ROM from xiaomi.eu community and everything was running good.: xiaomi.eu_multi_MIX4_V13.0.6.0.SKMCNXM_v13-12-fastboot.zip
Newer ROM, I want to install, is this one: xiaomi.eu_multi_MIX4_V13.0.8.0.SKMCNXM_v13-12.zip
but this new ROM can’t be installed simple through fastboot as previous one, so I need to do it in more complicated way (via TWRP):
Steps I did:
1. I did all data backup on external drive.
2. Phone is fully charged.
3. Bootloader is unlocked.
4. USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking allowed
5. Reboot to bootloader
6. Set active B partition through ADB command – “fastboot set_active b”
7. Run TWRP and tried to wipe all the data through WIPE button, but error occurred:

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
8. Trying to install TWRP zip file (twrp-installer-3.7.0_11-0-odinx.zip) through TWRP Install button, but this error occurred:
Can you help me, what do I wrong? What step did I miss?
I tried a few alternative ways to solve this problem, but nothing helped and phone acctually can't run android anymore. Only shows fastboot logo and nothing else.
Thank you very much
Lukas
