Using Samsung built in handwriting recognition.
English works fine.
Hebrew characters are not recognized correctly.
Help is needed Please.
Not sure that hebrew is supported.

It is working on another samsung device of mine, gt-s6310, so it is probably possible.
Only I don't know how to reset Hebrew handwriting or, maybe, add something?

I think that Hebrew support was added in android 4.3, so if you have 4.2 or below, upgrade and it should work.
Using stock.
Waiting for all the mess to be fixed by Samsung.
Then will upgrade.
Wanted an interim solution.

It's an application that's causing it. Check your installed apps for anything that has permission to cause system level notifications.
Anyway if my Chinese isn't failing me it's basically an advertisement for porn sites.

"weird Chinese notification". lol. Chinese is a language?
Not good in chinese but its an advertisement.
First line sounds like "Bring you to dunno what thing, experience.."
Second line means below 18 cannot enter.
I don't think its a problem of Jelly Bean.
Hahahahahahahha!
Being a Chinese, I am pretty sure that you have installed some apps, e.g. games, which caused this problem.

well thanks, can someone show me a way to find out which application is doing this? I currently have no apps installed in Chinese
OK. New language: Chinese. Should submit this thread as news tip.
Extend the notification (double finger gesture) and click app details.
Uninstall the app that comes up.
Or simply root it and install AdAway and say goodbye to all ads.

I have a Japanese GS3 alpha. Basically an I9305. Anyway I put CM10.1 on it and it only came with Japanese as the base language. My apps are english but the system is all japanese. Is there anyone can explain how to add english to the system. Or how to rewrite the build prompt to include the english language. I'm not new to Android but everyone I've ever used has included English. Help Please.
Try downloading language enabler from the play store.

The rom only included japanese. I've put every location and language app on there.
Hello,
My mum came over from an old android phone and now owns a l920.
Since we can't transfer her whatsapp over, we decided to just email all the threads. English turns out OK, but any Chinese characters can't be read on her phone (office)
It works on my android phone though.

Install the Chinese language pack in settings. It's just like a PC and won't display correctly without the pack installed.

Sorry, still a little lost...
I'm in settings, system, but there's nothing about a language pack.
I've tried changing the phone language to Chinese and mum already has the Chinese keyboard installed. But this make Chinese show in office

Is there an apk or installer of some kind to get the international keyboard? I'd love to use the stock keyboard but need that auto correct...
I've seen a few links for it around here, but I've had issues with it not being able to keep up with my typing. Or maybe the reverse of that... As I'm typing, it tries to autocorrect to a word when I'm not yet finished typing...
I don't have the file anymore though or I would upload
what is this stock keyboard as I've heard much about it and want to know whether it has been developed for the Samsung mobiles only or for others ones as well..
Anyone found a fix for the auto correct lag??? Love the keyboard but I type way too fast for it to keep up.. WTF
