[Q] DoCoMo Sony SO-02E - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear member,
I write you to see if it is possible to install a custom ROM on the Xperia z from NTT DoCoMo.
I want to update to newer versions of android like 4.3 or 4.4. I saw many posts on how to put custom roms on Sony xperia z. But the SO-02E model is never in the list.
Please help

First of all what's NTT?
And
Second if your Model name is not listed as the Related model.
Of your Device.
Ask developers if they can bring their support to your device. ..

NTT DoCoMo is a Japanese network. SO-02E is basically their version of Xperia Z.

if you want to try the 4.3, maybe you should try the official international firmware. works just fine for this device, but not the journalist & commercial version.

different roms have different procedures to root.So to install a custom rom u need to follow its particular guides.U shud not fear and try it out .Rooting is also not that difficult.Head on to the dev section and follow each step correctly .If u still got problems then u can always ask

You do not need to do partition, and start with a ROM that works on stock kernel

i read so much @ installing custom rom & now i am having question regarding unlocking the bootloader??/
i read that f your phone's manufacture date is if11W29 or PAST 11W29, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO UNLOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER. IT WILL MOST LIKELY RESULT IN A HARD BRICK
& my phones mfg date is 10W27 then what to do should i try??/

11w29 means: Year 2011 Week 29, yours is: 2010 Week 27. What do you think?

yup you may be right.....but then tell me bro then what should be done about unlocking i read dont try to unlock if ur device is past of 11w29

Sony SGP321 and CWM

Hi
Because this is my first post. I would like to present himself. My name is Z. Jonski.
I bought Sony Xoeria Tablet SGP321, which is my greatest entertainment. I am cancer patient and I do not turn out.
I have a very serious problem with my SGP321 or maybe my knowledge .
I can not find the true and checked information about Sony Xperia Tablet Z - SGP321.
I want and I have to install CWM and change ROM on Android 4.4 KitKat, becous I want watch TV on-line.
Android 4.3 which is on him, does not serve the programme IPLA where I bought up subscription on TV.
Instructions about CWM to SGP321 do not work. I am ill and chelpless.
The most of the instruction is written an understandable language for professionals .
Help me please or give me websites for exaktly to Sony Xperia Tablet Z, Clockwork Mod Recovery to SGP321 etc.
I will very grateful for every one, who understand my sytuation.

sony xperia sx so-05d custom rom

hi everyone .
I have just acquired a sony xperia sx so-05d.
I know, it's getting old but it's still a pretty nice device I think.
I am really new on the forum (and in the development in general) and that is why I would like a little help if it's possible.
I would like to upgrade my device to android version 5.1 or 6.0 if possible and I would like ; if possible ; that someone would show me the different simple and understandable steps for a beginner such as me to do it.
And if possible, can someone would advise me some customized roms relating to it and how the installed those ones

Xperia Z2 Custom Rom Help Please :)

Hi all,
Sorry if this has been posted before or asked a million times before.
I have just bought a Z2 and have got it on the latest version of Marshmallow (via Sony Companion) but I heard you can root these and put custom roms on them.
I don't know where to start.
Could someone provide links on how to root the Z2 and how to put a decent custom ROM on there please

Try lineage os 14.1. Been using for sometime and it's working flawless.

Xperia x8 rom

Hello !
I'm looking for a Sony Xperia X8 ROM 4.1 Jelly or higher.
I know it's an old model and i'm sorry that I have to ask like this, but I really need it.
Could anyone help me in this matter?
