MIUI 2.4.6 ICS
This is a port from the ARC S based on the Official Sony ICS Beta
Kernel is working on [email protected] by default. Use SetCPU or CPU Master if you want to change it.
You can use Inteks and Night-Elf kernels for ICS too.
Works: Everything
Known issues:
- you can find some freezes if you use SmartAss or SmartAss2. Use Ondemand Governor
- Neo users may find too much green on the photo. I can't find right fix for that. I have one with correct photo, but flash doesn't work on it. (Fixed with camera fix)
Kernel is inside of the archive.
ROM Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?8cl3wq0b2lk0de4
Camera fix: (Everything works fine now)
NEO V only: camera fix for NEO V
NEO only: Install camera fix for NEO V 1st and only then install Camera fix for NEO (it's important)
How to install:
- Bootloader must be unlocked.
- Phone with .62 FW on it.
- Copy .zip with ROM to your SD-card
- Copy .zip camra fix if you use NEO V
- Unzip boot.img file from the ROM to the any folder on your HDD and flash boot with fastboot.exe or FlashTool
- reboot and enter to CWM
- Make all wipes (wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache)
- Install ROM via Install zip from SD-card command.
- Install fix camera for NEO V if you need the same way
- Reboot.
Sorry for my poor English.
To Admins: I miss that Mr.ZduneX25 is already post same ROM. I'm sorry for the double-posting. Delete it if you wish as I can't
But the voicesearch is fixed in this ROM In contrast to ZduneX25's ROM

It seems like MIUI v4 doesn't need specific kernel anymore... that's good.

Hey...
Try reflashing the ROM.
Or check if there is any fix for your phone.
And its better you mention what ROM you're using.
Please hit 'thanks' if I helped.

You have to flash the provided patch for your neo. It contains the correct cam libs. Flash and all should be fine. Take a look at the downloads at the rom thread.
send from neo v with cm10 nightly on fusion kernel

The thing is that you are using Turbo Kernel for Xperia Play its camera is inverted when compared to Neo L there is a Turbo Kernel for neo l which has overcome this problem but if you dont want to do that you can always use camera 360 we can revise the direction of the camera in it and set it as the default camera

i think you are only suppose to use stock ics .587 for cyber shot mod.
I though viper xperia is based on stock .587 and it's worked few days ago.
I tried to flash the latest cybershot mod and the some older version, but still same problem.

some things i knew about cybershot...
-> look in system/etc/init.d/ if u have some scripts with (darky-) zipalign delete them, while cybershot disappears with this:crying:
-> after this u have to reinstall cyberhot, i advice u flash all 4 versions; 5;6;7 and 2.B.12 (or something ) but make dalvik/ cache wipe only b'fore flashin 1st mod.. AND reboot after v7....
--> also i had alot of problems too with cs; i advice u make backups all 2-4 days; and when its disappered only fresh reinstall of rom helped for me:crying:
best regards, bejunk
I decided to flash a another rom.
Thanks for your help and the thread can be closed.

Since you have unlocked boatloader flash a custom kernel with fastboot... You will get access to recovery... Through that you can install roms... Or you can flash stock firmware through flashtool...

While connecting your phone to your pc keep the menu key on your device pressed. That will enable you to connect it in fastboot mode. After that you can flash a custom kernel with cwm through flashtool.

Btw which rom do you want gb/ics/jb. I am listing some of my personal favourites you will find them easily in the neo v development section. The steps to installation are also there in the respective roms, if you still have some problem you can first try to find the solution by reading the thread or else post your question on respective threads or pm me. Happy to help. The roms i like are
1. SJB 4.1.2
2. Mike's LegacyXperia rom CM10.1/10.2
3. DarkDefenders's rom based on LegacyXperia 4.2.2 ( Currently discontinued)
4. Ultimate HD rom (ICS)
5. Xperia Slim (GB)
These many would be enough to confuse you.

Yes install fusion 5.4 kernel it has cwm in it.
For cm10.1 use the kernel inside zip.
Look into the sticky threads you'll find how to unlock your bootloader. Do it via the official sony site. For more details on any of the roms visit respective threads.

i unlocked my bootloader and rooted, now for flashing of kernels and roms the options look like this
1. copy super jelly bean and gapps to sd card
2. flash any jb kernel for neov via fastboot.. i recommend fusion kernel 5.4 (present inside the zip file )
3.[OPTIONAL] flash stock ics .587 ftf excluding kernel and simlock.ta files..
4. boot into recovery
5.full wipes
ie :
wipe data / factory reset
wipe cache partition
wipe dalvik cache
in mounts and storage , wipe system , data and cache
6. flash Super Jelly Bean
8. only for neo (mt15i) users flash patch
7.flash gapps : use this link : Gapps For SJB
8.reboot
9.enjoy
I CANT GET THE 3RD POINT!! where can i get ics.587 ftf file??
Skip that point. Won't cause any trouble. Even if you want to, search for it in the development section. There is a thread which has all the stock firmwares. Download it from there. Turn off your phone. Move the downloaded ftf file to firmware folder in flashtool folder on your pc. Open flashtool, click on the flash/bolt icon/button. You will get two options choose flash mode. Select the ftf file and follow on screen instructions. While flashing the stock ftf uncheck the kernel and simlock files. Once the progress bar reaches 100% go ahead with other steps.
This must be looking so confusing so u can skip this.
