I would post this in the rom thread but it has happened on several different roms. Im currently on jelly butter. Sometimes I go to clear my recent apps and I see the "phone" app open. I haven't used it at all tgat day or at all so it shouldn't be open right? Its not sucking up alot of battery so im stumped. The only thing I thought it could be is that its checking voice mail but then again why woukd it appear under my recent apps?
I clear my recent app after every time I use an app or very few apps so its not just there from a while ago. Does anyone else find this happening and if so how do I fix it? Thank you for any help.

Ok so some times when launching a app that I downloaded from the Amazon App Store it will FC close and say App error please redownload app from the Amazon App Store. Happens about 40% of the time. So then I have to erase the app and reinstall it. Wtf it's a major pain. Anyone else having this issue? Im using Trigger 3.3 beta Rom with Overstock kernel. Tried a different Rom but same issue! Any help would be great! Thanks!

I kept having the same problems. I wound up uninstalling the apps and downloading them from the Android market instead.

Problem is most of the apps are paid apps or apps of the day and can't afford to rebuy them on the android market!

The reason for all the amazon problems is because everytime u flash a new rom amazon registers ur phone. For example mine will say i900 and vibrant and vibrant 1 and vibrant 2. The reason is because I flashed a i900 port and bionix and nextgen. So basically to fix this deregister all ur extra phones under ur amazon account and keep the remaining vibrant account. Make sure when u get a new app its being applied to the original vibrant account. I hope this helps and if u have any questions let me know? Because im a amazon free app junkie. Lol

Some of my app, in the app's menu, switch pages and are opening new page every time I reboot my phone.... How can I stop it.
I assume you're using TouchWiz (the default launcher), and if you are then search the market for AppZorter. That should help
doesn't help.
anything else?
Sorry for the double post but this is really drive me crazy

Over the past couple of weeks I've noticed a problem with the XDA APP.
When I go into a topic like "I9300 General" or any other topic for that matter I can go back and forward as much as I like.
The problem starts when I open a topic to view the post. If I try to go back to the topic list it jumps back to the home screen and it closes the app.
To view more topics you have to open the the app again.
Is anyone else having this problem?

Had the same problem just clear cache of xda app when i did mine the cache was at 187mb

Same problem here, clearing cache did not work.I"ve had this prob for a few months now. :crying:
For me it mainly happens after the app has been cached because it's not in use, it seems like the app doesn't like being cached the pulled back into memory so it restarts which explains why it goes back to the splash screen.

Tried clearing the cache but the problem is still their.
I think its a fault with the app and not the cache. I really wish they would fix it as I use the app all the time.
How come whenever I launch the XDA app and I go to participated threads it shows no topics. Same goes for unread and all. This has never happened before and I tryed reinstalling it but no luck.

It happens all the time actually...
Server maintenance or.... could be gremlins
I always kill the XDA app then start it or it takes forever to get the topics.
Gremlins obviously... no but yeah maybe server maintenance. I'll try killing it then re starting it

Erase CACHE on settings it worked for me!!!!!!!

This is still not working... Ugh.

Killing it then starting it is the only thing that works. The app is for the most part pretty pathetic.
I can't kill the app with TiBa since it needs supersu pro. Any ideas?

Push and hold the home button. All your open apps show. Either swipe them or push the 'kill all' button (depends on your rom). That closes it. Then when you open it, the app has to go get fresh info from the server.

You can always access it through the browser and use cp to see your participated threads during these times of app/site disconnect.

I cleared data, force stopped and turned off the native app "Samsung WatchTV Video" and I can't get to it anymore. I can see it in app info but I can't do anything with it. Everything is greyed out except force stop. It's not in my app drawer. If I search for it in Google now it doesn't recognize it.
Any suggestions? Thanks
Samsung folder in apps?

rbebber,
I got excited for a minute because I hadn't looked there. No go.. Unfortunately.
evilvoice,
I use Nova. Switched back to the native home screen, checked disabled app... Boom! There it is. Went back to Nova and it was in the app drawer.
Thanks guys
You're welcome
