Post your benchmarks here you guys
For what? Everybody is running the same kernel except for the few with dev editions messing with t-mobile kernels. Plus there is already a Note 3 benchmark thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2439141&highlight=bench
As stated above, this topic is already covered in the link provided. No need for a duplicate thread.

Re: How long until I can post in the Dev Subforum?
I've gotten the minimum required, 10 posts to post replies in the Fascinate Development forums, but it's still saying I don't have the proper permissions.
imnuts just posted an update to his pb&j kernel that I want to download, but it seems like the site he redirects us to is missing the links...in fact all the links.
I can't ask him what's going on because I can't post!
While I can't help you with your posting problem.... I just tested the links you are talking about and they are all present and working.
they are not clickable links. You click his release link in the OP and scroll to the bottom then copy n past the urls he has.
The dropbox does not appear to be working tho....
10 posts I hope
Might wanna PM an Admin about that problem. That'll do you more good than posting a thread about it.
Wish I can post some comment in Vibrant Android Development, But wont let me. I have flash many different rom for the right taste for me and found a perfect one for my Vibrant using Toxic Team RC3 D9
I know I can't reply there yet because I haven't posted enough elsewhere.
Mostdef-You should be able too post in the Dev section b/c you have 12 posts. If not, just PM me any questions about the Toxic ROMs and I'll help you out.
Jirie- Usual rule is you need 10+ post to be able to post inthe Dev section
Ok cool. I appericate it.
Don't post comments or opinions there.. we try to keep it uncluttered with just the dev's new stuff there and its cluttered still so still to this and general forum for those.

Thanks for this post. I was wondering all the time why I cannot comment on ROM's! I've flashed more than 20 times my phone with various ROM's and I have found numerous bugs in ROM's that can help developers to fix and fine tune their ROMs. Now I guess I know why I cannot comment and how I can comment
What makes them better than the stock ROM?
Just would like to know.
Not to pick up on anything, but so far I see no reason to install any of them.
I like HTC Sense, so de-sensed are out of the picture for me.
I might be wrong.
Please convince me.

No "in case it does not"... it doesn't. Please read the rules about posting in the correct section. I would think that a member with over 200 posts and a member since 2009 would know better.

I know right? First he posts about multiupload being shutdown in the dev section.. I'm surprised no one said anything to him then. Then when I said that it wasnt multiupload that was shut down he replied "no and no" and I took that tone as being kind of a jerk, then when I explained it further and all the other guys said the same thing he changed his tune.. he didnt even admit he was wrong.. then he posts this thread in the dev section which has no business being here.. and when a guy tells him he posted in the wrong section he says "wrong answer" which I took as him being a jerk again.. but the truth is "wrong section" IS the correct answer for this thread in this section... and if he had posted in the correct section then maybe he would have already had an answer to his question
nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
The custom roms mostly have tweaks that are not visually apparent, but make a difference behind the scenes, such as longer lasting battery or smoother performance. If you read the list of features for one of the custom roms (I am using LeeDroid's) you can see that he has changed a lot.
Not sure why, but nowhere on the OnePlus 2 threads I can find how to flash the latest Oxygen OS.
I hope I don't break any XDA 'rules' by publishing a link to another forum (sorry, but even though I am a member since 2007 , I never opened a thread and quoted another forum)..
So here it is: http://www.technobuzz.net/install-oxygenos-2-0-2-update-on-oneplus-2-android/
I think it will serve us all in this community, and since it has already all the instructions, this post is short.
All credit goes to sidharth on his post on TechnoBuzz..

This thread here on the OnePlus forum has this info, and it should be updated as OnePlus rolls out updates as well.

Could someone explain to me why LineageOS nets only roughly half of the benchmark scores of MIUI? I only get like 1.3k in single core, 4.4k in multi core, and 10k in RenderScript using Geekbench 4. How can I rectify this?
Use MIUI.

That's what you get when you ask the same old question again and again. This topic has been discussed thousands time on different ROM threads. Moreover, I don't find any reason to create a new thread just to ask a question related to a ROM which is available on XDA and the thread is quite active and responsive. So it should have been asked on LOS thread or on their telegram group instead of spamming the forum. Just because there's a section for Q&A, doesn't mean you have to go on create thousands posts. Tons of people have tons of questions related to ROMs, Kernels etc. If everyone starts creating a new post for each of their question, it won't take much longer before the forum becomes a mess.
