I was wondering if there was a way to setup a widget on my home screen to change to a predefined theme. I find myself always choosing "dark" themes and then I always have trouble seeing my screen in the subject light. It would be nice to be able to have a widget that when pressed would switch to a much brighter theme for when I'm outside. Yes I know I can do it manually. Any help would be great.

Hey guys~
So, I personally don't like the slide toggle in Widgetlocker, so I decided to just get a separate widget that is a button toggle (Silent Toggle) and put it on my lockscreen. Problem is, I don't like the icons >_<
Any way to change the icons? I can't seem to find where the widget was downloaded onto my A2
Also if you have any nice toggle icons, that would be great too
I'm going with a mainly black and white transparent theme and the only icons I could find right now are the ones used it this theme
Thanks^^
If you could also help me with this problem, it would be nice~
Whenever I try to make a shortcut in Launcher Pro for a specific email account that uses the stock email app, the shortcut goes on the homescreen and not the dock. Sometimes it even says that the homescreen has to force close! Any reason for this?
bumpidy bump
Any help appreciated^^
Hi,
Can anyone help me find a black Gmail widget ?
I have looked everywhere and cant seem find it but I know it exists.
The ones I did find are from 2010 to 2012 and outdated.
If there really is no app out there compatible with 4.3 roms then there must be a way to make the stock Gmail app widget black.
I am really so sick of the white Gmail widget. The theme on my phone is transparent black so one page that is white kills the beauty of my phone.
Please someone help me out. I am really desperate to get or make my Gmail widget black.
I'd give my right arm to be able to make Gmail and Hangouts widget inverted.
One option I've found, if you don't mind switching launchers, is Go Launcher Ex. They have their own message and email widget. Once you download the launcher, the widget, and the dark/transparent widget theme then your good to go. I'll download it and post screen shots after I get home.
There should be done way to dive into the code and change that stuff ourself. Unfortunately this is beyond my current comprehension of coding.
Oh. Another thing that helps is am app called 'screen filter'. It turns the white pixels gray to a percentage of your choosing. This doesn't fit into your theme, but it does help protect your eyes from the stark contrast of white widget on black background at night time.
Be easy not too easy,
Ky
Does anyone know how to make lock screen transparent see through I'm on sky Dragon Rom. Xposed module gravity box setting won't work
I too am interested in this feature
Originally, I was interested in this so I could see my live wallpaper on the locke screen since it doesn't let you pick one but I've come to terms with my locker screen image now.
However, one thing you could try is seeing what happens if you set a transparent PNG image as your lock screen wallpaper.
Has anyone else been experiencing issues with the Samsung themes not applying to their lock screen?
I apply the theme of choice (tried several) through the Samsung themes settings/app. The theme changes on the pull down menu, messages app, etc. but does not change the lock screen clock or music player controls. Some online research says others are experiencing the same thing. Has anyone here been having this issue and/or found a solution?
Thank you for your time!

Not having that issue here, do you have AOD turned on and a theme that theme's AOD.

.
Thank you for the reply!
AOD is on, but with a custom image (my signature).
Full setup is:
Nova launcher with icon pack
Custom wallpaper on home and lock screen
AOD on with custom image
Theme applied (should be changing clock and look of clock on lock screen but is not)
Thanks again!

I'll bet it's because of Nova Launcher and not using TW, just a thought..

If you apply a custom wallpaper to both home and lock screen it erases the theme home and lock screen images. I am using Nova and have no issues. Sometimes I just use a custom home and leave the stock lock screen from the Samsung theme.
The clock on the lock screen changes but my Pandora music player remains the same.
I had that issue with the batman theme. the AOD theme option would be there after i applied the theme but if i changed the AOD to a different design, the option for the one that comes with theme would disappear. only fix would be to re apply theme
This works for me as well, but oddly enough, when setting a live wallpaper (just for home screen), the clock goes back to stock.
So frustrating.
Hi all,
after One UI 3.0 update i can't set the transparency of Samsung's widget, for example Samsung Notes. It will be white or black with night mode on. Is there a way to set it transparent, like in One UI 2.5?
Thanks
Exept, you can. Hold on a widget and select settings. Also, this is not the right place for this question.
