Does anyone know how to make lock screen transparent see through I'm on sky Dragon Rom. Xposed module gravity box setting won't work
I too am interested in this feature
Originally, I was interested in this so I could see my live wallpaper on the locke screen since it doesn't let you pick one but I've come to terms with my locker screen image now.
However, one thing you could try is seeing what happens if you set a transparent PNG image as your lock screen wallpaper.

Hi,
everybody knows about the bug that prevents the restoration of the original lock screen wallpaper. I fiddled around with my lock screen wallpapers, and now decided on a live wallpaper for my home screen which i also want on my lock screen.
Unfortunately, I have yet to find a way to do that. On my gf's nexus s, it is quite simple: just select the live wallpaper and it is set as your lock screen wallpaper too.
Anybody know how to do this on a sgs2?
Well at the moment you have to change your lockscreen.
You can get one from the market, widgetlocker or something.
personally i like to keep as little running as possible so just use the stock lockscreen.
If we could enable transparency on the lockscreen wallpaper
that would work but right now it just comes out black.
Im sure a good dev would be able to do that though.
I can't find where to change the lockscreen wallpaper... anyone know?
found it. Settings -> Screen -> Screen Display
Settings, screen, screen display
plus icon -> wallpaper -> wallpaper -> Lock screen Wallpaper
Your best bet is to go into the Gallery and after selecting a photo, go into the picture settings and set as your lock wallpaper (top right corner). Going through the normal wallpaper settings doesn't give you a lot of options for lock wallpapers.
I have a related question, the update to 3.1 automatically changed the lockscreen wallpaper on the device, I want the old one back! but i barely remember what it was did anyone have it saved? it's not in the wallpapers folder i don't think.
I don't remember there being a separate lock screen wallpaper. I'm pretty sure it was just whatever wallpaper you had set on your device. If you're looking for the IO wallpapers that were missing after the update, there have been a couple threads with zip files. Just search around.
Anyone know how to make a live wallpaper as the lock screen?
There should at least be a default to set a live wallpaper as both since on the Transformer and Xoom the lock screen is whatever the home wallpaper is.

I agree, once I noticed this I became annoyed right away almost makes me want to take it back and get the Transformer but I prefer the look and feel of the SGT2 better my self. Hopefully with the touchwiz update they will fix this.
If you look close in this video you can see the Samsung Rep has a LWP for his lock screen.
I was wondering if there was a way to setup a widget on my home screen to change to a predefined theme. I find myself always choosing "dark" themes and then I always have trouble seeing my screen in the subject light. It would be nice to be able to have a widget that when pressed would switch to a much brighter theme for when I'm outside. Yes I know I can do it manually. Any help would be great.
Has anyone else been experiencing issues with the Samsung themes not applying to their lock screen?
I apply the theme of choice (tried several) through the Samsung themes settings/app. The theme changes on the pull down menu, messages app, etc. but does not change the lock screen clock or music player controls. Some online research says others are experiencing the same thing. Has anyone here been having this issue and/or found a solution?
Thank you for your time!

Not having that issue here, do you have AOD turned on and a theme that theme's AOD.

Thank you for the reply!
AOD is on, but with a custom image (my signature).
Full setup is:
Nova launcher with icon pack
Custom wallpaper on home and lock screen
AOD on with custom image
Theme applied (should be changing clock and look of clock on lock screen but is not)
Thanks again!

I'll bet it's because of Nova Launcher and not using TW, just a thought..

If you apply a custom wallpaper to both home and lock screen it erases the theme home and lock screen images. I am using Nova and have no issues. Sometimes I just use a custom home and leave the stock lock screen from the Samsung theme.
The clock on the lock screen changes but my Pandora music player remains the same.
I had that issue with the batman theme. the AOD theme option would be there after i applied the theme but if i changed the AOD to a different design, the option for the one that comes with theme would disappear. only fix would be to re apply theme
This works for me as well, but oddly enough, when setting a live wallpaper (just for home screen), the clock goes back to stock.
So frustrating.
Every time I set a lock screen wallpaper, the themed clock loses it's appearance and reverts back to the default style. Anyone about to tell me why this is happening? I shouldn't be mandated to use only the wallpaper the chosen theme provided. Would be great if you could change a lock screen wallpaper without losing an element of a Samsung theme.
