Hey guys.
I might sell my device, and I'll only know of the guy takes it when he sees it
Is it possible to remove everything that's mine like passwords, accounts pics etc without using a computer and with a few quick actions?
This is a nexus 4 with TWRP and slimbean 4.3 on it

Hey Guys,
After flashing a Custom ROM, i went to restore all my apps from Titanium backup but it gave me the warning that my device's 'Android ID' has been changed and gave me the options to restore the old one/ask later/keep the current one.
Does anyone know the best way to proceed?
Yes, hit restore, it will reboot, job done

Is it necessary to restore Android ID? I always ignore it and haven't notice any problem yet.

I think it applies to root protected apps ie banking etc, so if you don't have these I don't think you will get problems

Sorry but it is not possible to restore files from a full-wiped S3 since the data partition is for multiple reasons no longer an additional fat32 partition but piggybacking in the system's ext4.
However I want to point out that a full-wipe is only done on the stock recovery, not when using Cwm.

According to what I've read on different forums and websites, The original firmware from Hong Kong has an Apps To SD function. I also don't know why they included that in the Hong Kong firmware.
Question: Can I install a firmware from the region Hong Kong if my phone came from a different region? Thanks!
There is no reason why not, but back up first to be safe.

I have tried the HK Rom and cannot find any MoveToSD button in app manager. Maybe I broke something when I built it though.

Thanks for the info, but this is not good news, it means this is somewhere in the Samsung bloat I removed.
This might help: I used the turn off function on most of the samsung bloatwares instead of uninstalling it. So maybe its not because of the bloatwares..

I bought my Mega off ebay (an import) and got an update immediately which I imagine was the app to SD support. I've got I9205ZHUAMG1 firmware. App to SD really helps me a lot as I think there was only about 4.9GB available memory in the phone so now I have the majority of my apps on the SD card (although some data remains on phone still).
SD Card Size
After installing the HK ROM, I have the apps to sd feature but my internal SD card size is reported incorrectly. Does anyone have this issue?
I have 8gb sd but now it is reported as 16gb sd.

Ok so i don't know how to say this but. I had rooted my phone. Then i wanted to get Facebook Home, so i deleted the file for facebook(because usually you aren't supposed to be able to delete facebook just un-install the updates.) And then time passed and i unrooted it, next day it got stuck in a bootloop and i fixed it. But now i can delete facebook. Does anyone know the file to put it so i can't delete it just un-install to stock lg l9 facebook. And where to put that file so it won't fully delete?
I would really appreciate it if you can help!!
Also i can not restore it because i had to factory reset my phone.:what:

Baha, thanks for flattering me.
Alright, go into Root Browser. Locate the application in system files, and hold down on it, then select "Cut" or "Move." Navigate to system/app with the application that you cut, and then click "Paste" or "Move here."
A simple reboot and the effects will be there

No, it's not a ROM but a custom recovery for L9 devices with a locked bootloader.

Now I'm guessing from your previous screen shot that you are trying to return the phone to stock. Facebook is installed as a system app on stock 4.1.2 ( on my 769 anyways ). If you don't have the custom recovery mentioned above installed, the only option you have is to use ADB to push the files to the device.
Do you still have root? If not, none of this will work.

I'm at work currently. When I get home, about 4 hrs or so, I'll put a small ADB package together. In the meantime, if not already installed, you will need to install LGs USB drivers for your device to your PC.

This is in the wrong section, but you mean to say your stock and took the OTA update? If so just go to a verizon store since THEIR update broke the phone, I would argue that even if its outside of warranty your phone was working fine before their update was released.
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot. I guess I should clarify what I meant by ruin. I just meant I can't save to it anymore.
