[Q] Urgent help Needed! (work phone) (Fixed) - Motorola Droid RAZR

Hi, been modifying my XT910 for a while but this is the first time I don't know how to fix something, here is the situation...
My phone was working perfectly fine, using latest stable CM 10.1.3 on slot 1 using BMM, but this morning I uninstalled BMM to flash SS, the issue was, after uninstalling BMM wife called me and I forgot to install SS or any other boot manager, a few minutes later phone froze with sound bug and I had to restart the phone with 3 finger salute. Now the phone won't boot into any other roms (I had latest CM 10.2.x on second slot) and I can only boot to fastboot or the boot mode selection menu, can't even access stock recovery, get an error.
I know I can recover by using RSD Lite and flashing the stock rom, but doing so will delete my internal SD and the problem is, I haven't done a backup of it in a while (I think over a month) and I have very important work documents in there that I really need.
Is there a way to:
A) Flash stock with RSD without loosing the contents on my internal SD?
B) use adb to pull my files into my PC (tried this, keep getting access denied)?
C) Flash BMM from fastboot?
Many thanks and please respond promptly, currently at work with no phone and don't have a spare, so loosing client calls
Update:
After all day trying finally found a way to wipe all and restore stock rom without deleting internal sd contents, phew...

My internal got never wiped though rsd..... How did u solve ur problem? Would u tell us?

Gutted, lost keyboard after failed rom flash from recovery

I attempted to flash a rom I have downloaded from rom manager and after the recovery had backed everything up it just failed to flash and said the file was (bad)...
So I thought I would be ok and just started up again, once I got into the rom I realised that all my apps have gone and all my system data. I went to download Rom Manager from the Market but obviously my account with google was not signed in so I tried to do that.
NO KEYBOARD!
So now whenever I tap on a text box the keyboard does not appear.
I went back to recovery to try and restore my backup and it says MD5 Mismatch?
I thought I would play it safe and take off all my Titanium Backup file onto my PC so I have everything safe, but its only 10mb?! I backed everything up and there was a few MASSIVE games that took me ages to download, where have my proper backups gone?
I have a really bad feeling that my SD card is corrupted or something nothing seems to be working.
Am I going to try and use fastboot to put a decent rom on there or get the backup to work?
Any help would be a god send!
You got the right idea. Use fastboot to flash a ROM and go from there.
For sure fast boot and i would make sure and do a full fastboot wipe also might be a goos odea to test out sd caed on computer transfer filws to and from it and see of files obtain any issues or data loss

I spent a while this weekend flashing my Atrix. I don't know what version you were on but this is a relatively safe (but do it at your own risk) method to recover an Atrix to latest Stock.
If you want to go straight to a custom ROM...You can do this:
Download a ROM to your SD card (I tried Turls and Joker's...using Turls right now)
Reboot into your CWM and format your data, system and cache partitions then install from zip from your internal/external card
I like to reboot back into recovery, clear the battery stats and then reboot into the rom
If you want to go to stock...This process worked for me since I have a problem with Nandroid not restoring my /system file so I gave up on trying to use CWM for backup/restore functionality and use Titanium Backup for that. CWM still works great for other functionality....As a side effect of a failed /system restore with CWM I have a non-booting phone...
SO....my recovery for this has been:
Use the Motorola Automatic Update using a PC...It will download the 141 stock SBF and flash your phone, at this point you're basically latest stock (I flashed this over unlocked bootloader)
Unlock your bootloader using the AUTOMATIC_UNLOCK_V4.2
Re-root your phone using the /preinstall method
Restore (if you have a backup) with Titanium Backup
Then download and install a custom rom at a later time
Thanks guys but it was a ****ty SD card! Peace.

[Q] Help! Screen become irresponsive after editing touchpad.cfg

I am using a rooted Atrix ME860 without CWM recovery. (USB Debugging mode is off)
2 days ago, in an attempt to enable multitouch in my mobile, I edited touchpad.cfg located in system\etc\touchpad\22 using root explorer following some guide found in internet. (I did a backup before editing it). After restarting the mobile, the screen became irresponsive to any touch. I did a lot of searching and finally, I tried to make an update.zip to place back the back-up touchpad.cfg in android recovery mode. However, it failed every time when come to signature verification. (I tried 5-6 type of different signer app, java script etc and made over 30 update.zip but all failed)
With my limited knowledge to android phone I did an external hard reset thinking all would be done, but the screen is still not response to any touch after that.
Any suggestion guys?
Thank you.
You can't use stock recovery for custom ZIPs, only for officially signed ZIPs.
Hard reset is also irrelevant since it doesn't touch /system at all.
See here, maybe it helps: http://cleanimport.xda/index.php?threads/1813668/
try to update through fastboot. do more search how to?
or try to flash cwm recovery as a start.
any way your phone not bricked, the last resort will be flashing sbf but u will not going through it.
Thanks for replying.
I checked the link. Seems that guy with the same problem could not solve the problem..

Yes.
After searching I unlocked my phone and installed CWM recovery and a CM9 unofficial ROM found in this forum. Thanks for the help.
The touchscreen problem was solved but there is another new problem..
My phone failed to mount the internal SD card. I tried to mount it in setting -> storage -> mount SD card (under internal storage)
Nothing changed except a notification about SD card safe to remove appear. (This notification appear each time after rebooting phone too)
I tried to mount/format SD card/emmc in recovery but got error. Reflashing CWM and ROM also didn't help.
I tried most solution found in internet except the relock then unlock method as i have no idea how to do that.
Thanks for any help again.

[Q] how to hard brick phone wt19i

hello everyone
I would like to permanently hard brick my phone wt19i...... I tried everything from flashing other phone's rom, kernel and recovery. Tried using rom manager too, but nothing worked. As soon as I flash stock gb or stock ics, the phone comes back to life again.
Please if someone could suggest a working method so that even the service centre guys won't be able to fix.
Why would you want to do that
Easiest way would be to physically mess up the chip, shorting something or so.

How to short something in hardware.....all I found by searching was flashing improper things.....but each method failed....as soon as to confirm hard brick I tried to flash stock rom it flashed normally and booted too

Bricked from BMM

Hello all,
I need some help with this old phone. It's been sitting in a drawer for a while, and I haven't touched it for like a year at least. Apparently back then I had dual-booted stock and another ROM using BMM (Bootmenu Manager). Well now I need to use it and I thought the best thing to do would be fastboot flash the stock ROM, so I did that from the bootloader and it didn't change anything. So I went into BMM and deleted the second ROM (in slot 3), then did a factory reset on the stock ROM through fastboot.
Now I can't get any slots to work besides stock, and the stock ROM has zero bytes available for user data. meaning I can't install the BMM app to remove BMM.
When trying to use another slot, I can create the virtual partitions, but after a reboot it can't find them anymore...

Galaxy S3 - need help with custom rom

Hi all
I hope that I am posting in the correct place
I need help with my Galaxy S3 SGH-T999
Recently the phone died on me, it was stock rom and with the updates through some of the apps, the phone stopped working correctly. I don't use the phone for making calls, etc, but need it for pictures and a few other apps. The phone is from T-mobile.
I tried to reset the phone and that worked until all the updates were back on and then back to the same problem.
So I decided to put on a custom rom on the phone.
I have tried the following roms:
cm-14.1-20161225-NIGHTLY-d2tmo
I9300XXUGNB6_I9300OJVGNB3_I9300XXUGNA8_HOME
RevolutionaryS5-V3
Slim-d2tmo-6.0.1.alpha.0.1-UNOFFICIAL-20160516-1346
I first installed CWM recovery and then transferred the roms over to the external sd car (also the internal card), went to boot manager (vol up) and installed the files.
It looked like the installation worked but when selecting reboot, the phone would not come back on.
I then loaded up Kies and reset the phone back to factory defaults and only then does the phone load back up after reboot.
Every time I try the custom rom - I run into the same problem
At first I thought the phone was bricked and found info about the jtag and then found something about using an SD card with the following image installed on it - tmobile-T999_4.3_debrick
With the SD card in the phone I can boot to either menus and also able to get the phone to boot to the slim-d2tmo rom. But when I pull the SD card, the phone won't boot. Nothing, no power, nada
I am not sure what I did wrong, followed the direction on the site and thought I did it correctly.
Not sure if I deleted some file, or partition needed or what. I would greatly appreciate some help with this.
Also I would like a custom rom that is stable and fast. I don't need all the bells and whistles but one thing I would like and that is for the camera to be able to take pictures using voice. I know the stock rom allows for this. Not essential but preferred.
Please help with detailed instructions.
Thanks in advance.
It,s amazing
Please elaborate. What's amazing.
Boot into download mode and confirm the model # of the phone. I see you tried to flash I9300XXUGNB6_I9300OJVGNB3_I9300XXUGNA8_HOME which not for the the T999, it's for the gt-i9300.
I want to flash Ressurection Remix on my Samsung Galaxy S3.

OPen Odin, uncheck everything except f reset time. Flash TWRP. When you see the word "reset" in the status window, remove the USB cable from the phone, remove the battery, replace the battery, boot directly into recovery.
