[Q] Bluetooth HDP Profile Android 4.0

Im testing HDP profile for android 4.0. I think that it doesnt works correctly because Im trying with Nonin 9560BT and it connects but it doesnt sends medical data to android.
The trouble is the next:
First, I init bluetoothAdapter and I getProfileProxy. After, device connects to android. I catch ACL_CONNECTED with broadcastReceiver. I ask for bluetoothHealth.getMainFD to open communication but it says Proxy not attached to service. Finally, device disconnected.
Somebody can help me?
Thanks.
Hi There:
I also have a problem about HDP.
I try to connect to HDP device, but just only can pair with the device.
I can't connect to it, I think that my adapter doesn't know the HDP service.
Do you know why I have this problem?
Hi admirty,
There's a problem with L2CAP opening channel. If you get FD you can see that value is 0. BlueZ developers fix this bug in new version 4.97. This will be fixed for Android when Android Engineers add this version to Android 4.0.
anyone have any idea if Bluez 4.97 is going to be implemented in Android 4.0 any time soon? or is it possible for one of the Devs on XDA to write a module for it?
Been waiting for some of these features since Android 1.6!!

same here. updated a mate from works device to official marshmallow (E2353) and he is getting the same problems. he used the screen casting feature all the time before the upgrade, so much so that he is considering going back to lollipop. Apparently there is a config file on the phone somewhere that you can edit to disable HDCP but i am not sure what it is yet.....still searching.
Are you getting issues with bluetooth connectivity also? he told me that his bluetooth handsfree in the car sounds really poor now.
Hello!
Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/help/fix-hdcp-error-miracast-ezcast-screen-t3123560
I do not know whether the best solution but to me it helped. Now screen mirroring works, i get a warning that the device does not support HDCP but work!
I no tried bluetooth but i'll check it

Android 5.1.1 car Head Unit [Erisin ES3015V]

Hello forum,
I need your help about a issue which I have with me head unit.

MCU Version: MTCD_LM_V1.36_1
Kernel version:3.0.101+
Built: rk3188-userdebug 28032016.11:22:37
I believe that there is an issue with the USB drivers or android version.

Before 2 weeks I have also bought a USB Dongle for apple car play, and when I connect my iphone the view it's not the correct, it's show many small windows - icons
I have also try the dongle with my tablet (android 4.4) and works fine..
I have search in the forum and some other people had the same issues but the update the android version and fix the problems..
Do you know where I can find a new android version for the specific head unit ? (unfortunately the seller can't help me)
Thanks in advance

Android Update Pioneer XDP-100R

Hey there, I use a Pioneer XDP-100R as a personal media vault, but in the case of 1 particular application I use frequently, it requires an update for continued use, but the new app version is not compatible with Android L or earlier.
Is there a ROM out there somewhere for this device? Pioneer doesn't seem to have anything new for it since 2016
Thank you for any ideas!!!
No. I am using XDP-300R(S) now.
Pioneer doesn't even release the stock flashable ROM.

Android Tablet with Built-in Usb Serial Support

Hi there,
I am looking for an out-of-box Android tablet of version 5.0.1 or later, that has built-in kernel module for the USB Serial. The Android tablet also needs to be rooted.
Has anyone used similar tablet in the development project? If so I would really appreciate if you could shed some light on the tablet details.
Thanks in advance
Ray
