I am having problems with my phone because when i boot my phone it turns on normally, but then resets for no reason. it only happens when the SIM card is inserted, but if i enable airplane mode or remove the sim card (turn on with airplane mode turned off) then it runs just fine.
i read somewhere that it might be a baseband problem but since i have hboot 1.53 version S-on i cant update a new one.
any help would be appreciated. thanks

Hi,
I decided to reinstall the software of my x10i on SEUS (1.6 R2BA024 i think).
It installed, said that the 1st boot should be longer, but the phones run into a reboot loop. I mean, it starts the phone, connects to the sim card, but then restarts itself, and again, and again. Tried to reinstall the software, nothing.
Ideas?
Regards
i am facing the same issue...a workaround is to remove the battery, sim and sd card for 5 minutes and then put them all back and start
although the phone starts sometimes when i connect to my computer or try to restore the backup it gets into the loop again
My Sdhc card randomly unmounts and goes read only. tried to re format it but to no luck. and now when i try to charge the battery the phone goes right to the bootloader screen.
if i did a factory reset through the bootloader would this work.
and yes i am rooted s-off.
any fix would help even if it unrooted me.
Hi
I have an international model I9300. while updating the rom via odin, i had accidentally selected the repartition option and the flash did not complete even after waiting for over 30 mins. so i had no other option to pull the battery and reboot it. then i loaded stock rom on it but still what happens it while booting after the lock screen appears, it freezes. sometimes it does complete boot and i can use it normally, but when screen shuts off due to inactivity, it actually powers off on its own.and i have to power it on again for a complete boot. Then, i enabled the screen awake mode from developer options and put it to charge - strangely with the charger plugged in it never froze or rebooted, as the screen didnt go to sleep mode! I have gone through the SDS threads and also used the dummy file generator but no error while generating dummy files. I have tried I9300XXALE8, I9300XXEMB1, I9300XXEMC2 and I9300XXEMC3 and Slim-i9300-4.2.2.build.5 roms but all give the same result. also tried without SD Card and SIM Card - still the same problem. can anyone give me any suggestion on how to solve this please?
Hello I found a Sprint galaxy s4 Model SPH-L720 and I waited a 2 weeks to see if the owner would call to retrieve his/her phone . So its been a 2 weeks and the person didnt so i think its ok to use it with a clear conscious. The thing is when the owners sim card was in the phone it was working fine but after a while the sim card stopped working I imagined the owner canceled the sim card. The issue I am having now is when I put my t-mobile sim card in the phone or turn on the phone without a sim it goes straight into recovery mode .. It also refuses to go into download mode . I tried the method of holding down on the power button for 5 minutes and then turn it on again and surprisingly the phone boots up normally but you can still see the recovery mode screen in the background even though the phone is on the home screen.. I dont know what to do .... I put a old Verizon sim card in it and it does boot instead of going into recovery mode but still you can see the recovery mode in the background of the home screen. Any help will be welcomed!!
Does anyone own this phone? It came with Android 4.4.2 and I tried to flash a TWRP recovery so I could flash Android 5.1, but that didn't work and now the SIM card isn't recognised, even after resetting it. Anyone know a fix? I can't get into recovery mode, as that is broken, and the phone keeps restarting until I turn it off, but I can access the bootloader. Please help. Thanks!
