My Sdhc card randomly unmounts and goes read only. tried to re format it but to no luck. and now when i try to charge the battery the phone goes right to the bootloader screen.
if i did a factory reset through the bootloader would this work.
and yes i am rooted s-off.
any fix would help even if it unrooted me.

You cannot turn it back on, go to fastboot mode or cwm? Did you try pulling the battery, wait for a few minutes and try again?
Well I'm not sure what u mean by bricked. I assure u its not. Atleast not hard bricked. Plug it in to charge, let it sit for a few then pull the battery while its still plugged in. Let it sit for like 10 seconds then put the battery back in. Then boot into recovery and go into mounts and storage and the bottom option allows u to mount the SD and internal cards for USB storage. Then plug into a computer and put whatever file u want to flash on yer phone.

Known problem
apparently this issue is present on other phones such as the desire hd and the toshiba thrive, when you partition the sd card in clockwork mod it corrupts the emmc apparently.
Hi,
Issue: After rooting my Nook Tablet I inadvertantly rebooted into factory reset. I cancelled the reset but after this point whenever I boot the device the following occurs:
The nook copyright screen appearsThe reading forever screen flashes for a fraction of a secondThe download/restore indicator with the green arrow appears for a fraction of a secondThe nook tablet logo appears with an exclamation mark with the instruction to "Please restart your device and try again. If you encounter the same issue please contact customer service ..."
Attempted Fixes: Naturually I have tried rebooting resulting in the same process being repeated. I have also tried the acclaim_update.zip sd fix but have had no luck running it from the sd. I have also tried the 8 x reboot method to no avail. Any attempts to use adb have thus far failed (the device is not even detected properly).
I understand that everyone is busy but if anyone has any suggestions I would be much obliged. I do not live in the US so returning the device is extremely difficult. I run Linux and have an XP virtual machine available.
Thanks for your time
Have you tried booting cwm from an sd card and then reinstalling a stock rooted rom like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1488035
Unfortunately no luck booting cwm from sd - I have not managed to get anything to boot from sd. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Did you try to boot from sdcard while connected to your PC with the USB cable?

Update: Issue resolved - I ended up using AdamOutler's Ubuntu Wipe, which did hang indefinitely on the 'Overwriting sys with zeros' stage but did actually result in a factory reset.
Thanks to lavero.burgos and nba1341 for their assistance. I did successfully manage to boot CWM off an sd (my mistake was not formatting it as a boot partition), however I was unable to successfully flash any roms. Anyway I'm back to normal and ready to try again. Thanks all!
Bought 2 16GB Nook tablets last week (one for wife) - used indirects method to boot CWM from SD http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1466583 however got same error as Land Master and a few others where instead of booting CWM the unit booted a factory reset prompt instead. The suggested workaround is to boot while plugged into a computer however this did not work for me. In the end I did get CWM to boot and installed CM7 which is going great on both tablets (I'm in the UK so could not register or use the stock OS).
The workaround for me was, from a failed CWM boot that has gone through a factory reset screen (which is declined) to boot the stock OS,
1 eject SD properly, plug into Mains and reboot then turn off normally (i.e the nook has now been turned off from stock OS without booting from the CWM SD first)
2 re make the SD ( it seems booting into the stock OS with it inserted changed it in some way, no idea how)
3 turn on nook holding n and power button until nook turns - this is standard step
4 insert SD and turn on while still plugged into Mains (nook should have been plugged into Mains from step one)
This worked on both nooks, 1.4.1 out of box with oobe skipped, I swapped the SD after CWM booted for one with CM7, updated from this, wiped data rebooted and have not looked back since.
Hi all,
My friend's T-Bolt is stuck in a boot loop on the white HTC screen. Some Googling has shown that this is not a new issue, but many of the methods to fix don't work on her phone. I've managed to fully boot it up only once in the week I've had it, while it was plugged into the charger (and once I unplugged it, it shut down). I don't believe it's a battery issue, because I'm able to pull up Hboot while it's on battery.
I tried doing a factory reset from the Hboot screen: bootloop
I tried entering recovery: bootloop
I have downloaded PG05IMG.zip from Android Police, moved it to an SD card, then booted into Hboot; it loaded it and everything, but when I boot it it bootloops again.
When I plug it into a computer, guess what it does? Bootloops.
Any other suggestions? I had an old DINC I was able to give her but that's like a step down from the TBolt, so if I can fix hers I would rather do that. I have a DINC2 of my own that I've rooted, so the process is not foreign to me, but I am definitely NOT a programmer.
Yesterday I had some serious problems accessing the sd cards of my GS2 (international i9100 no letter; NeatROM with SiyahKernel S2-v6.0beta5).
After detecting there where some scrambled files at the internal and external sd cards root directorry.
I tried connecting it to my computer, but just the external sd card was accessible.
I also noticed, that mounting the device on my computer takes longer than I’m used to.
I re-flashed a 3parted Stock Rom (I9100XWLP7) to re-partion, did a factory reset after booting and all was working again.
So, I did start restoring my files and applying my settings.
After ~ 2 hours, the display and LEDs flickered multiple times, then my GS2 powered off.
I tried to power it up again, but nothing happened.
I pulled of the battery, waited for about 15 minutes, reinserted the battery and it powered up.
But then it hangs at the GS2 logo and not booting any further.
I’m not certain, but I think, there was a gentle “buzzing” from inside the device, after reinserting the battery for the first time, while the boot logo was showing.
I can boot into recovery and download mode and the batteries are charging.
My GS2 is still in warranty and I hadn’t re-flashed NetROM at this moment.
Should I try re-flashing it again, trying something different or should I just send it in for warranty?
