Best non-reflective/matte screen protector for note 3 - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

I bought a few cheap ones on Amazon and they work but the display quality is different, can someone please recommend a screen protector they have tried that not reflective and also doesn't make the screen look dull.
Thanks in advance!

That's going to happen with all the matte ones I believe. I know when I used the matte ones the picture quality drops. So I don't think that there is a matte/non reflective protector that doesn't look dull.

You lose some picture quality with matte protectors. Nobody is making grade a matte screen protector and if they do you will probably pay more for the quality.

i ordered this one yesterday....so hopefully wish it to be fine one....will put up the reviews when I will receive it....

My screen protector make whites "colorful"

Hi,
i bought a screen protector for my 3D and the thing is, on whites, the image gets full of those pixel colors (green blue and red). It happens also on other colors but not so notorious.. 3 of these screen protectors cost about 3€ so they might be of not good quality.. any reference on any screen protector that will "respect" the colors and keep the screen quality? where can i buy them? ebay, amazon?
thanks in advance
PhantomSkinz.com
FLsuperstore.com , around $1.50 shipped. Looks and feels MUCH better than Otterbox screen protectors. Literally can't even see or feel that it's on there. Love it!!

Did you get a Matte/Anti-Glare screen protector? They are known to do that and its a drawback, but the positive is you get less glare.
Other wise get a crystal/clear protector, they will look just like the naked screen, with the same mirror reflection.
The zagg ones do that until they've dried or aged-----the one on my ipod was awful looking for a day or two until it just disappeared. If it was a applied with a liquid it might need to dry out a bit before it has its final look

Go with bodyguardz.
Re: matte screens. I have the bodyguardz version and don't have that problem. If you look closely you will notice in white backgrounds. But not with other colors. I'm happy with it. Plus they offer free replacements.

It was the same with me in the beginning with the matte screen protector...but it seemed to have worn of lately with some use. I'm guessing the material on top of the screen protector isn't as sufficient as it was on day one
Another vote for the clear ones from flsuperstore.com
Easy to apply and once it's on, you can't even tell it's on there.

Anti glare vs normal clear screen protector

Previously on my ipod touch 3g, milestone, defy and blackberries i have always wanted to use an anti glare screen protector i get off amazon. But with the evo 3d i have noticed that the colour seems to be washed out with an anti glare screen protector.
So heres what i want to know:
1)Do you guys think the anti glare screen protectors for about £4 off amazon are really anti glare
2)Is it the anti glare screen protector washing out the evo 3d colours or is the problem apparent with all screen protectors
3)whats the best screen protector you guys have used?
First thing I bought for this phone was an invisishield anti glare protector and it washed the colors out as well. I've also seen multiple posts in the accessories section saying the same thing. I've heard that the phantom skin normal works really well although I haven't tried it. I ended up just getting the 3 pack from Sprint and I'm still on my first one ant it works perfectly

I have the anti glare screens from bodyguardz. I really like them. I don't think the colors are washed out. Maybe a bit, but it really does cut down glare.
Be aware of the version you get from them. My first set had a halo effect. Which is where the very edges do not stick to the screen properly. But a quick call to them and they sent me a replacement free. This one was manufactured (I'm told) differently and works perfectly.

interesting. the one I got off Amazon was
4 quid so it should be ok.
But do you guys think the glare reduction is worth the colour reduction?

I think it's worth it. It doesn't bother me. I agree it is not the same and not screen protector or a clear one. The I don't get any glare or reflections. Since you already ordered one, you will have it soon and can let us know what you think.

Ive already got one on my evo 3d and for £4 it's pretty impressive. yes it does help reduce glare a lot and it feels quite nice but it does wash out the colours a little
I don't like the anti glare protectors at all! The 3D has such a beautiful screen and I refuse to take away from it with a screen protector. Zagg, horrible, don't even want to go there. Otterbox, makes nice protectors but i felt they degraded screen quality just very slightly. I am now using a FLSuperstore clear screen protector and absolutely love it. Fitment is 100% perfect, and you can't feel or see that it is even there. I was skeptical of them cause they were so cheap, but they have really proven to me that they are the best.

I understand and agree with you. I compared my EVO 3s to my mate's desire s and the difference is astonishing. His one has a budget £2 clear screen protector which whilst has a lot of glare the colours look Amazing

High-res screens are always CLEAR > Anti-Glare; why? Because the anti-glare make the screen look like a low-res screen... and then, what's the point?
I'm currently using the $1.50 cheapy and it's wonderful! Especially for the price.
I think sprint sells a pack of three screen protectors and it includes two clear and one anti glare. I use the anti glare and its been fine for me. Yeah you notice the grain/specs but I can live with that.

iVisor from AT&T

Has anyone used these? Will the stylus still work with it on? Thanks for any advice.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using XDA App
It will. Unfortunately I hated that screen shield. Looks like piss how it actually has the black at the top and bottom on the shield itself and the anti-glare on the shield makes the screen look grainy; it KILLS the display quality. Much better choices available from SGP, Zagg, or Ringbo. I don't reccomend the iVisor.

Thing with those other screen protectors is that lines will show from the s pen on the screen protector and that will annoy the **** out of me. I wish otter box defenders were not so freaking huge cause then I would just get one of those

SGP and Ringo cases do NOT show lines. They are hard coated. The zagg does but have found it to self heal overnight. I have zagg on now and use the s-pen a LOT. No issues.

I just got one three hours ago, and although i like the feel of the screen with the cover on (feels great with Swype), the grainy look is unacceptable.
I'll be returning the screen cover tomorrow.
Not only does the grain make the screen look blurry, but there are what I'd call cut outs in the pad below the protector for the buttonsand the darned AT&T logo. Very strange when you feel those areas.
I second that. It makes the screen blurry, grainy AND dim.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using XDA App
I agree. After seeing the iVisor on a co-worker's Vivid...the 'grainy' element made me back off wanting to buy this once I get my Note. It didn't help that they decided to still have the at&t branding show at the top....unbelievable...
Plus $25 sticker price on top of that....with like $15 discount?? Haha...overpriced for the grainy element.
But in terms of getting rid of the at&t branding...Would it even be practical to use a black Sharpie to cross it out on top of the applied screen protector??
I will be taking mine back also since I received my SPG Ultra Oleophobic screen protector.
I really like this product but why do they not make a clear one? It is great quality and super easy to put on but the matte look detracts fro the screen. I had it on since Sunday and I could not believe how much better my screen looked after putting the SGP on.
Ivisor, make a clear screen protector!
I love this screen protector. I have it on my 4S as well as my Note. I will never use another brand. The Anti-glare coating is one of those things you hate or love I don't think there is an in between. They are also 100% bubble free and removable and washable if they get real dirty. I know if I got 1 speck of dust or bubble on other brands I would just rip it off and throw it away.

Does anyone use a screen protector?

I just ordered my HTC One and am looking for a screen protector.
1) Do you guys think the gorilla glass 2 will hold up on scratches?
2) I'm thinking about playing it safe, so for those of you who have a screen protector, which one would you recommend? SGP?

I decided to get one after seeing my wife's DNA screen get scratched by her keys in her purse. What's up with that, gorilla glass 2? I bought a 3-pack of Lumii Ark protectors for $.99 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BL5N0X2/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Just arrived yesterday, haven't applied one yet.
Also thinking about getting a Poetic or Nillkin case to shield that beautiful aluminum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2171713)
For what it's worth, the aluminum looks plenty capable of buffing out some reasonable scratches. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0kel2d3xGQ&feature=youtu.be
Personally, I'm not using a screen protector but I keep my phone in a sleeve type case from Krusell when it's not in use so that does the trick.
I use cases and screen protectors on all of my devices. My HTC One never saw the light of day before the screen protector went on it. I'm a little OCD like that though.

I use Skinomi tech skin Carbon Fiber skin that came with a screen protector and I'm very very happy with both.

This may only be my experience but I found that the capacitive buttons weren't nearly sensitive and had trouble hitting home+back with an invisible shield (which covers the capacitive buttons). I ended up cutting away the excess which covered the buttons and have seen a huge improvement.
I bought the skinomi full body, but only used it for the back because I didn't like the feel on the front with it, and its not so clear.. but now I have the skinomi on the back, sides, and speaker grill, and a fosmon ultra clear on the front.. the fosmon is a lot better than the skinomi and is very very clear.. I cant even tell that there is a screen protector there..
Ps if you decide to get the skinomi, I used the coupon code 'earthday2013' , and got 60% off of the full body, so it was only $8.. if that coupon doesn't work anymore, there is one for 25% off which is 'get25'

my one is in pouch all the time. because i always put it with my key.
I got the $10 3-Pack that all the AT&T stores carry. They are suprisingly good quality. Absolutely no complaints.

I went to three at&t stores yesterday and they all told me they only carry the invisible shield dry for $30!!! I was a little skeptical, but with my luck my One would never stay in it's prestine condition without some kind of protector, so I got it. I have to say it is much better than others give it credit for; it's far greater than all of the "cheapy" screen protectors when it comes to look and feel, lifetime warranty when you register it, and I feel much better knowing that my device won't look like my buddy's horrific note II whose been naked since he purchased it because he bought into all the hype that the gorilla glass II is so incredibly scratch resistant!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Decided to go with the sgp ultra clear screen protector. I have used there protectors before and they are really nice and high quality. Also $14 for 2!? Not bad if you ask me.

Best glass screen protector and installation?

Okay so I've narrowed my options down to the SGP glas.tr slim, the Glas.t nano, BodyGuardz and Tech Amor Ballistic tempered glass. Which one would you guys suggest?
Also what is a good way to apply them? With these type of screen protectors being a one shot type of thing, I'm nervous to put it on. On my iPhone 5, I tried the steamy bathroom method but I ended up getting steam under the glass screen protector when I installed it. Any great methods you guys used for a dust/bubble free application? Thanks

IDK about them but I use MIME Ghost glass on my S$ and its AMAZING. It has the hardness rating of (9H) compared to others I looked at (7-8H) and it is also only .32mm thick. Others i looked at were like .40mm thick. The reason i mention thickness is that with a case on the phone the surface still sits lower then the rubber edges of the case so you aren't putting the phone face down and have it sitting on the glass screen protector. MIME also has a lifetime warranty that if it breaks or whatever it's 50% off to replace it.
1 more thing, not all of them have a curved edge to the glass. Some have a straight edge and can chip or crack much easier so make sure then ones you are looking at have a curved edge finish.
As far as install... just make sure its clean of dust. You can pick them up and reapply the glass protectors pretty easily. Point of reference, i used the home button and the edge of the top of the screen protector and the ear speaker at the top to make sure it was straight and centered
Just my 2 cents on what i got and why i decided on that one.
I used glas.t cuz I always use a case. Love it. And its super thin. .023? I think. Applied it with the shower on in the bathroom. came out mint.

got a glass.tr knockoff form ebay. Cheap ~$8 and fits with a neo hybrid case. Works perfectly, wouldn't pay a dollar more for a "name" brand one. They are the same exact thing, i applied it very carefully and managed to get no dust. just lay it flat and push the bubbles out from the middle.

look on ebay, can get both. mine was from us. They aren't knockoffs, they all are the same, you think spigen is manufacturing screen protectors in the us? No company can actually do anything different then another with a half millimeter piece of glass.
