Afaik seus might brick your phone as your bootloader is unlocked.. Best is to use flashtool and flash .587 firmware and sell it bck..

You can relock and then use seus...or use flashtool...

If you're using flashtool, then there's no need to lock the bootloader.

yes you can relock the boot loader, but you don't have to, you can reinstall the stock os without relocking the boot, no you don't have to relock to use stock os

if SE give us ICS update, then we come back to xda and there is solution(flashtool, wotan, zip, img) method to flash ICS with any bootloader condition.

you will not loose ICS as when ever its released you can get it from XDA and then you can flash your mobile with flashtool to get the lastest ICS on your mobile ....
so go for it & unlock your bootloader & enjoy.............

I dont know about Re-locking BL. But you can downlaode SEUS:http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/
and restore to stock 4.0.4. You can also try using flashtool:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1351324
PS: Visit here and download teh stock rom you want. then just drtag the ftf file to flashtool and Check No Final Verificaton:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1627627

Cause I still have 1,5y of warranty and as I unlocked the BL the warranty doesnt covers damage.
Btw,what's the procedure to do with SEUS?
flash this with flashtool
http://www.mediafire.com/?g1b5j712ajx4yjd
it relocks the bootloader if you unlocked it via the official SE method
you can re-unlock it again after that
and then lock it again
etc
Well,I Unlocked it Via Flashtool,During the process the program opened me a webpage which was from sony ericsonn that gave me a code to unlock the bootloader,it was the official page...
yes thats the official method.

you can use SEUS, PC Companion, Flashtool.
And yes.
AFAIK warranty is void once you unlock bootloader due to deletion of a partition in which you loose DRM keys needed by some apps. I think DRM keys are lost forever and that is how then know your warranty is void
Sony Update service won't let unlocked bootloader devices to update/restock.. It says i had a modified software.. I used sony official method.. And relock via flashtool, and use Sony update service again.. It restock my phone.. But i got different region.. (CE)

Yes, i believe it's possible with the latest version of flashtool (+ update).
The safest way though, is to revert to stock (do a backup of your current rom&setup of course) then perform the unlock.

Alright alright.
But,if i backup my current rom (which is for LB) then unlock my BL and then restore my backup of my LB Rom,i will have a Rom for LB on my phone with ULBL.

Can a rooted Xperia Go be updated to Jellybean through PC Companion???

I have Xperia Go with ICS rooted. I just wanted to know as and when Jellybean is officially launched can i update my rooted xperia go to Jellybean through PC companion or i have to unroot first
Did you unlock bootloader? It sounds silly but for some reason, I've this feeling that you can get root/flast custom roms with a locked bootloader >_>
Anyways:
Locked bootloader: Yes
Unlocked bootloader: No.
Just wait for some kind soul to post a .ftf file and flash via flashboot.

If your BL is Locked then its not a problem, you can just update it. But if you have unlocked ur BL then you first need to relock it to update official fw.

flashing a FTF will remove the custom recovery and root but not lock the bootloader, but you can lock it with flashtool or by restoring the TA bckup
