Hello,
I tried to root my new Yarvik Luna 7C but did not find any relevant methods until now. All differents methods posted related on yarvik root on this forum did not succeed. Even googlize did not bring me any good methods.
Did anyone already manage to root this tablet and which method was used ?
Thanks for support
Fred
Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1601038
it will probably work just extract it and run the "runme.bat"
I know it says that its for xperia devices. but just try it. It will 75% work.

Hello, this method did not work. I already used so many methods but none seem to work. This is quite frustrating. I need root acess to be able to move applications to sd card. 4 giga is not enough
Do you get an error or anything like that? Tell me what exactly happens with you.

Hey guys I had rooted my Acer liquid mini a few months ago using super one click 1.7, it rooted successfully.
Now recently I installed the official gingerbread (2.3.5) update and then after that I couldn't run apps that needed root permission, so I did a root check and it said it wasnt rooted. So here where the problem is whenever I try rooting with super one click 1.7 now it gets stuck at some "pneuter" step or something.
What do I do? I really want to root again but it doesn't seem to be going ahead of this step.
P.S - I have USB de bugging on.

Have you tried rooting using a newer version of Superoneclick?
Yeah I tried v2.3.1 it seems to get stuck at the 3rd step after killing ADB server and starting ADB server. It left it alone for like 5-10 minutes din't seem like the program was responding. I have rooted my cellphone before and it should take nothing more than a minute, I think something is wrong.
Oh and also after the official update I had all my files and apps as I left it before updating that means before updating it must have automatically backed up everything. So it also backed up the superuser app. I had Superuser, titanium backup, ROM manager still installed but couldn't run any of them (since I lost my root permissions). I hope that helped. Just disclosing all the things that happened.

You could try using z4root and/or Gingerbreak.
No z4 didn't work I used 1.3.0. I don't think it has anything to do with the software, I have rooted before and it should work, I think it has something to do with my cell , something to do with the update cuz it dint work after that.:| but I don't know what went wrong.

It is your software. That's why when you root your device, it is advised not to update officially; but instead using a custom rom (based on the updated software version). You were able to root before since your previous firmware was rootable (at least in that way).
Oh damn that means I have to wait till they come out with a root able version of my cellphone? Isn't there any other way out?

Alright never mind. I've discovered that using Framaroot works to root. Now all I need is a CWM version that is compatible. Any ideas how I would go about finding one?

I think I might just port it myself.

Yes framaroot works. I dont know if the a3000 has a mediatek chipset which is in the s6000. Regardless, it should work for you.
As for finding information, I checked the framaroot thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276

Ok, great! To begin with, use the tool in the first post of the link below to tell you exactly whether you have a MT6573 MT6575, MT6577, MT6589, MT6515 in your device. Post #5 of the thread below also gives directions for porting your stock recovery into a custom recovery. If you would like me to help I already have everything set up on my PC and we would just need to use MTK Droid Tools to make a complete back up of your stock system FIRST before we do anything (I recommend making 3 back ups just to be safe).
Once that is done you can just copy the stock recovery that MTK droid tools pulled from your phone to make a custom recovery. IF you need any help or have any questions feel free to shoot, this is kind of overwhelming the first time you look at it (or at least was for me when I first learned how! lol)

Try these:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/oaslz8xuxk7ag50/VRzHnZvA-b
If it says the program did not install correctly you may need to "reinstall using recommended settings" then. If these dont work I have like a dozen different drivers for Mediatek devices, if nothing else, install Snap pea, it will install drivers for most of these chinese made devices.
If you have too much trouble, let me know. I can connect through Teamviewer and install them for you if you have too much trouble trying to do so.
*Edit* Also you need to of course have USB debugging enabled on the device in settings too FYI.

Snap Pea worked. I have MT8125. Can you please help me from here?
First thing - make at least 3 back ups of stock files using MTK droid tools using root, backup, recovery tab. If back up button is not lit up you may need to click root in bottom right corner and grant superuser access on phone to ADB shell before MTK can back up files

AWESOME!!! :good:
Rooted but no further
Snap Pea did not pick mine up and the drivers from the link installed successfully and still not working correctly. Any ideas?
EDIT: Apparently windows is recognizing it as S6000-F which is correct but then tries to identify as just S6000 at the same time. It doesn't seem to interfere with the ability to transfer files. Snap Pea still not recognizing however. In MTP mode if that makes a difference, not sure.

Hmmm. Try with usb storage off. If that fails, try LeTools. You'll need the offline version. When I get home tonight I'll see if I can find the drivers.

OK, to start things of I'm no android nub, I've already rooted my Nexus 7 2012 using Wugfresh's Nexus Root Toolkit, I've also already granted access to a lot of root needed apps through SuperSu, I also have busybox installed. For some reason I just installed Gamecih version 3.00. Life. The app still says error need root even after I granted access to it through the supersu root permission prompt. Since this issue has been present in a lot of forums, it is a common problem and some of you should already be aware of this problem. But if any of you know a solution besides reinstalling the app I would be overjoyed. Thank you

Sorry for double post, but does someone have a solution yet?
Mine stopped working after I went to pure speed experiment 8.5. Still works on my baked Toshiba thrive. I am guessing its the ROM. But I would like to know if anyone has found a solution?

Nope unfortunately not. Currently using Game Killer and it works like a charm.
I see many people successfully rooting their phone on this current OS? Can someone please teach me how? All I really want is the root and not those TWRP or CWM or Flash something because I really don't know or understand them. Please just teach me how to root it, that's all I need. I'd really appreciate any help or response thanks in advance.
Hello friend,
Frankly speaking I am a lazy guy.
I searched for many diff ways to root. Some developers recommended vroot , gene root, etc based computer soft ways and some developer like stympy provided steps using flash tool.
I tried all of them but the last one i.e flashtool one worked 4 me.. Check it out:thumbup:

Aw ? I don't really understand those things, and I'm very afraid of bricking my phone. Those one click root ways? Are they not effective? Before the updates, I successfully rooted another P780 using Framaroot, but then I tried to do those flash or whatsoever things and bricked the phone. The phone I'm using right now is just a replacement, so I really just want to root it ?
I have tried most if not all the major generic root methods through apk. Kingroot,Towelroot,Framaroot doesn't even boot, I'm missing one or two others and i've tried the king root USB root method.
bump?
