here this is a attached apk file which is just like a rom manager which is work on rockchip rk3066 based tablets.plz store this apk file in ur micro sdcard root directory and install it on ur forstar ft970 tablet which is already rooted. U will find a program which will help u to installing cwm recovery in ur tablet. I will provide its video tutorial and its instaliing apk file

I could be incorrect, but I guess I have rooted HCL ME Y2 tablet.
I used tool from www dot unlockroot dot.com
then I downloaded Root Checker APK from apklibrary dot net
It says my tablet is rooted. Try this out and let me know if really i have rooted the tablet.

If SU is not installed, or if its malfunctioning, then root is not there.
I have tried all the methods. A few of them worked. Unlockroot works perfectly. I have done it in many y2 tabs. For ant question just send me a pm.

I'm trying to root my me y2 but I can't get my computer to recognise the tab . I downloaded a buch of drivers but none worked is there an easier way please help
I can't even use that tool because I can't get the drivers ....help ?

Click on the first option of the app and then you will get a
percentage meeter at the top...
see at the bottom OF the screen and you will find something written in chineese just click on it....REMEMBER -OPEN THE APP WITH INTERNET CONNECTIVITY....

I have rooted my phone using this procedure
I am not responsible for any damage caused to your phone when following this procedure
I have rooted my device using Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v31-1
search it on xda if you are unable to find I'll upload it.
Open RunMe.bat the select 1st option which is new standard root

After rebooting you will have root access but no superuser app
install superuser from play store.
Sir my device is not booting after restart beacuse i was edit some tweaks in build.prop please make a build.prop flashing update package for my karbonn A8 i will flash it through recovery

I need help regarding a broadcom BCM23550(Xolo Q1000 opus) device. It's running o jb 4.2. I was searching rooting tutorial for it but couldn't find one. Can anyone help me in rooting this device?

It's for the xolo q1000 which is a mediatek device and I am asking for q1000 opus which is a broadcom one.

I found some instructions on the internet (source)...
1. Install the Mobistel_Cynus_T1_Drivers_x86.
2.Connect your phone in USB debugging mode. It can be found in Developer Options.Tick the USB debugging option.
3.Open the mt6589_rooter folder & click on run.
4.Press enter when told and the rest will be done by it.
5.Reboot your phone.
6.You will find SuperSU installed in it.
7.Open it and you will see that your phone is rooted.
8.Update the SuperSU if you wish..i will recommend the update. I have uploaded the Super SU & also its pro key which can be found in the Super SU folder.
9.If you want to confirm whether your phone is rooted properly download Root Checker app from PlayStore or Titanium Backup Pro (included in the zip file).

I also own xolo opus q1000 and i have rooted it I will also tell u how to root it just give me ur opus stock recovert img
Goto filemanager system files and find a folder named dev/block/platform/sdchi.1/by-name/find the recovery img copy it and upload it.
And get ur xolo opus rooted my promise.........
are wothout rooting i cant extract stock recovery

It ain't letting me copy the file coz it requires root permissions and BTW it's size is 0 bytes..
Help me to root and i'll surely give you the recovery my promise.

ur device is mtk and its development are also very less.. so i don't think cwm or custom rom will be available.

I have found th clockworkmod for it could anyone with this device install it through the files provided then rip out the boot image so anyone with this device could flash it through the android app mtktool
