Well you've got the soft reset option through the settings, just have a look for Factory Reset.
If not there is always the repair option in PC Companion or through SEUS.
But make sure you back up data first either in an app like Titanium or through MyPhoneExplorer which you can get online for your computer.
i am using SGA too, but i am confusing what is hard reset and factory reset.
i know we can type *2767*3855# for hard reset and *#*#7780#*#* for factory reset, but i dun know when we need to do that, what actually happen when both reset running, and why we need to run it....

I know there's some problem with bricking the phone after hard reset. Just wonder if the problem is exist with the OS updated? I need to do hard reset on mine.

No, factory reset is possible in recovery even if you did lock the phone. Train your sister instead.
