is there anything with you to explain the problem exactly mate? error 6 is not something i've heard about till now.

A guess either a bad download or user error .
Not enough information posted so its a guess .

Did you costumize/edited or removed/added files on the ROM?

Your problem is that you don't have a custom recovery like cwm. For installing custom rom, and for the case of 4.4 you need cwm 6.0.4.4!

Try this.
Update CWM to version 6.0.4.5. Alternatively, use PhilZ Touch by Phil3759. His link is...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2002953
Latest version is 6.00.8
Then get Gapps (for 4.4) from here...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942
Flash CWM/PhilZ Touch
Boot into CWM/PhilZ Touch Recovery
Wipe
Flash ROM
Flash GAPPS
Reboot and bob's ur uncle...
Hope it helps.

Can you try and flash a newer Siyah?(3.5.2.)
If it doesnt work in CWM, try with Odin.
And when you're saying which kernel you're using, you dont need to write all that cryptic mumbo-jumbo. Siyah 3.2.4. is enough.

Any more help would be great thanks
IAN (UK)
I have solved it .
The answare is to down load the rom on windows 7 not Ubuntu as Ubuntu does a mess up with access rights.
Many thanks for all your help guys.

Samsung galaxy s2 stuck at boot screen

Guys I am using a Samsung galaxy s2 gt i9100 running jelly bean 4.1.2 stock xwlst firmware and i rooted my phone using the one click root using exploits. I am all new to this rooting process and so i installed titanium backup and i was trying to remove playstore inorder to install modded play store and all of a sudden my device rebooted and now its stuck with the boot screen. So i tried to flash canogenmod 10.2 for the first time and used clock work mod recovery. I wiped my memory cleared the cache(couldnt find dalvik cache and the advanced menu either) and applied the latest cyanogen mod 20130827 from the cyanogenmod.org using my external sdcard. It displayed assert failed )==gti9100t status 7 error. I can assure you that i downloaded the international version of the cyanogenmod and not any other variant. Kindly help me with a solution or a link to the correct cyanogenmod rom package. Thank you. Looking forward to an earlier response sorry if i had posted in a wrong section. i am new to the forum

so it doesnt matter what type of kernel we are using??
and now i tried flashing a paranoid rom and it is returning E:signature verification failed. please help me with something. Thank you
the kernel will flash with new ROM so the old kernel isn't important, it's delete in flash process.
I've the same problem whit cwmr6, but using cwmr 5.5 it seems resolved.

Almost every kernel dev provides a .tar version of his kernel for initial rooting / custom recovery install.
Per example apolo, gustavo and dorimanx.
Grab one of these, flash trough Odin and start from there.
Hint, you need at least CWM 6.0.45 for installing cm11.

[Q] Problems with flashing my I9300

Hello guys,
my name is Raphnika and I am complete new to this.
I've tried to flash my Samsung S3 with a custom ROM like the Pacman one.(KK 4.4 or something like that).
I was not able to install it on my device so I tried the Android Revolution HD ROM and that worked for me fine.
It seems like I am not able to flash any KK ROMs to my S3. I keep getting a Status 7 Error...
I googled it and tried many solutions but none of them worked. It might be to the fact that I am a complete noob to this.
I hope you guys can help me!
lots of greetings,
Raph

Can't install any rom

I can't install any rom on the Samsung Galaxy Note SGH i717. I'm using TWRP v2.6.0.0 and I get an error "error excecuting updater binary in zip" I get this same message on every rom I try to flash. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I would suggest updating to the latest TWRP and trying again.
